Please NO Mako

Bring back ash as a love interest.

Make the Citadel like it was in ME1

Make the FPS Missions less linear.

Please dont have joker make wise cracks in the middle of a deadly assault on the normandy.

More content. I dont play RPGs often and I was very underwhelmed with the content (for a rare RPGer).

Cool story, but BioWare needs to really expand on relationships, missions and content as a whole.

I'd like to add that better pacing during conversations would help a lot. There are often awkward pauses or lack of pauses that, if tweaked, could make many moments more effective. I'm thinking specifically of intense moments, like during ship combat or when quick decisions need to be made. For example, in ME1, just before you're supposed to land on Ilos, there's a debate about the best course of action on the bridge. It's flows horribly but if edited properly, would have been exciting. Maybe even have characters talk over each other and interrupt like in the recent Star Trek film. Crafty editing can significantly up the intensity.

I wish for a streamlined version of the upgrade system. If you had a limited number of base weapons (like ME2) but you had mods like ME1 it might work.

I wish biotics found a happy middle ground. ME1 made them so powerful. Yet I imagine a ME2 biotic is unable to crush a humble cockroach, you know, 'cause it's armored. Makes sense a biotic barrier provides protection from biotics, but armor? Really?

I wish we had a trailer for ME3.

BIGGER, MORE EPIC & LOOT-CITABLE

I've been playing other games for a while since ME2.  And tonight I have this overwhelming urge to play ME1 and create a new clean profile for ME2.  And it got me thinking about what what I was looking forward to in ME1 and what I would miss when I moved on in ME2.  The thing is I felt that the maps in ME1 were larger and I look forward to them more though the ones in ME2 were more tactical.  If these two components could be combined I would so be floord.  Think one of the main open areas on Hastrom in ME2 but take that open area and put 4-6 more around it that you have to work through.  And no tons of repitition like we got in Shadowbroker.  That area was EPIC backgrounds but it was the exact same map layout over...and over...and over again.

As for the loot I am looking forward in ME1 to trying to find the really cool outfits again.  I really liked trying to get all my characters totally zuped up in cool gear.  I mean I would go up to a box and be like "ou ou ou I wonder what I'll get in here"  There is no anticipation in ME2, everything is preplanned.

The characters outfits was something I had to work at.  And I could customize everyones gear to suite their playstyle.  I think all the outfits in ME2 are cool but there is no customizability.  In ME1 I was able to use Wrex like a tank and not worry overmuch about him.  Grunt I have to keep my eye on and there is no way to make him more durable except through abilities which should be totally seperate.

It would be really cool if you could totally seperate all the graphics on guns/armor and stuff and just slot them with the accesories that would change their ablities.

Something I thought while playing on ME (down in some planet with the Mako, but it can be applied to the galaxy map too):

Make the stars change their glow!! (Or, in other words, flicker :P)

Just like in real life, it would be way more innmersive (well, at least for me, as I find the actual "stars" boring and kinda lifeless.

If done, it would definitely be a great detail.

That would be cool if they did flicker!

I think random storms rain and sand storms pop up depending on the planet you landed on I liked how in Jack's loyalty mission and in SB there was rain but for instance if you where in a vast planet world after a point a rain storm would occur then after several minets it would move on so if you just stood there you could experience the dark clouds rolling in the wind picking up the rain coming down first light then medium and finally a down pour before slowly fading out and it goes back to light that would be neat too.

Yeah, that would be definitely a great touch!!

I just hope Bioware takes the time to read 263 (and counting) pages of awesome ideas :P

Add better dance moves. I can't tell how hard I facepalmed when the other dancers were practically break dancing in Afterlife and Shepard looked like he had back problems.

Very good observation, the female version is not much better.

With everyone talking about armor, I remembered something, give back the the squad armors, it just wrong to raid a Collector cruiser dressed like a dancer at Afterlife with a plastic cup over the face while Shepard dons an armored spacesuit.

Here's an idea Bioware, if you're going to stick with the "Thermal Clip" mechanic, atleast make it believable, a pistol's thermal clip that melts avec 6 shots is not any better than running around with a good'ol .375 Magnium revolver (the .375 would be more effective at taking down armor). The codex explained the Thermal Clips as being an improvement to the old inefficient cooldown method, but as it stand the Thermal Clips don't provide more sustained firepower downrange, just more pauses. From the technologies in the Mass Effect universe, a pistol like the Carniflex should be able to atleast shoot 400+ times before needing to eject a thermal clip, and the more powerful the weapon the less you can shoot on a single "clip".

If you want to stick to "present-day ammo restriction" just say that after the fight with the Collectors, the Alliance decided that more firepower was needed and reintroduced the concept of "bullets" which are now shot out of mass accelerators.

or something like that.

Point 1: Agreed, but the hammerhead sucks, do don't bring that back either

Point 2: Definitely Kaidan/Ashley need to come back and as a member of the team.  When I finished ME1, Kaidan was a powerful biotic

Point 3:  Yup, the Citadel in ME2 was really not good.  Nothing to explore, etc.  No fun there.  I think I went back twice.

Point 4:  I love the first person shooter style game.  I had no problem with the shooting in game one or two.

Point 5:  I loved Joker's dialogue in 2 but yes, I can see where that was inappropriate.

Point 6:  I'd love for ME3 to be a huge immersive game.  I don't want to play it for 30 hours like ME1, give me a 60 hr game and charge me for it.  I'd pay.  I thought ME2 was way too short.  ME1 left me wanting more.

In Mass Effect 1, I've seen 3 Spectres - Saren, Nihlus and John Shepard

In Mass Effect 2, I've only seen 1 Spectre coming from the previous mass effect - John Shepard

What I imagined in MASS EFFECT 1, The spectres, were MANY, it's just that THEY ARE TOO FEW, the words in Mass Effect 1 made me imagine as if the SPECTRES were MANY, just that they're going to many places, in Mass Effect 2, I've visited a lot of places already and no other spectres showed up, it kind of saddened me.

ADD MORE SPECTRES and since ME3 would be the last in the trilogy, MAKE THEM MANY ENOUGH TO GIVE GAMERS SOME AWESOMENESS
- - - - - so my spine would chill with awesomeness more!!

Regarding the trailers for future ME3 promotions, if they make another "Cast of ME" they should really include the Shepard voice actors, especially since this is going to be their final adventure :)
Would be funny to see them both say at the ending "I should go" :P

Hm I'd like to see a female Turian in the game. Doesn't have to be someone that joins the team. Perhaps the one that sparred with Garrus? Just for the fun of it.

Female Aliens.

Optional controllable ship combat.

Random evens that make you want to keep playing the game (like in GTA, Red Dead, something that makes you want to go back and dick around)

NO bullet travel time.

A mako that is controllable and can't go straight up mountains

Armor that has ratings (ME1 style)

Weapon mods.

Return of RPG elements.

At least one or two more 'big missions' like the final mission of ME2, involving all your team members instead of just sheppard+2. I want to have a whole army out there bringing the pain down on someone every so often. I'd like to keep the ME2 crew, but bringing back some of the ME1 team would also be great. I want my Normandy packed like a can of sardines!

Some more fun/humor when on-shore, between missions - ie: some sort of reference to sheppard's awful dancing and/or penchant for drooping his head like an idiot when running.

Bring back the hammerhead, just give it the machine gun and hud system of the mako. Also, please for the love of god, give it shields and the same amount of armour as the mako.... and let us get out of it too.

I want to see more Novaria! I love that place. I love the political intrigue and where better than Novaria to find it... OK, Illium. I know Mass Effect is not Morrowind or Fallout 3 but I would like to explore not just planet scape's but the Citadel, Illium, etc. Even if the missions are small scale or personal, finding new places is always fun to me. I realize that the above mentioned games are huge and require more time to make, I'm just throwing out the things that make me happy, you know, just in case =) To be honest, I would rather play a super expansive Mass Effect game then the games I mentioned above. I like them but I love the Mass Effect universe much much more.
