In ME1 there was reference to something called "the Leviathan of Dis" when you were looking at planet Jartar.  It was a genetically engineered living starship so to speak.  It sounds like the premise of a good story ark for a great mission involving hunting it down or freeing it from the batarian dreadnought that presumbly took it 20 years ago, or finding it and salvaging some nifty tech (organic armor and weapons like the collector's tech only different in some way) could we please see that in ME3?Posted Image

Yeah, why not expand the quarians somehow. The Migrant Fleet was a touch disappointing since they seemed to compromised of only two different types of ships. I always imagined hundreds of varieties of ship; some rather new and well-kept but most falling apart and older than sin.

At least one or two more 'big missions' like the final mission of ME2, involving all your team members instead of just sheppard+2. I want to have a whole army out there bringing the pain down on someone every so often

Along with static worlds this has been my biggest issue with both KOTORs and MEs. It doesn't make sense only 2 will join you when the world is in danger. It was also annoying I didn't see the other teams during the final mission, would have been cool if I could have helped them (someone could have died otherwise). Also make the armor of allies matter.

Also, bring back all the 16 old squadmates with 2 possible roles (aside being dead):
- In my ship and team able to join my squad
- Working at the background helping us prepare for the war
I get to choose (though they might leave anyway if they aren't loyal and I'm not persuasive enough) my dream team. The catch is that blindly recruiting everyone lowers the chances of surviving the mission. If Tali is in my team she can't be with the quarians helping them out, I can have Liara leave her new post to join me but that means losing important info etc. This adds complexity and replayvalue.

The game should also have a few (4-5) new squadmates of new races (batarian, vorcha, prothean...) giving new insight about them. Ash/Kaidan, Liara and 2 survivors from ME2 would be alive even for ME3 newcomers making a total squad of 8 or 9

My thoughts....

Statistics - Please include a screen/or something that shows you exactly each weapon damage level plus any modifiers that are in place (non rpg folks could ignore this, but i find it useful say to see if a pistol may damage x enemy by y etc). Also the same for armour/shields, in ME2 saying x improves y by z, without knowing what z actually is is a bit pointless.

Armour/clothing - As per ME 1 please as although I like the individual look of the squad, having folks run around 1/2 naked in a vacuum is a little immersion breaking, though for biotics you could assume a barrier is in place i guess, but still its pushing things a little.

Mako/Hammerhead - I liked the "core" missions with the mako (less so with the hammerhead), the random planet exploring in ME1 was ok though i wished not every planet looked like a mountain range. If more detail was added it would be good.

Recruitment - little focus on recruitment, as a caption says on one of the loading screenson ME2 , "your choices will have dire effects on ME3". So if you lost most of your squad, tough!

Alliances - Focus could be made on ensuring all factions are ready and committed to the coming war (would be a good excuse to visit homeworlds and having powerful and story inspiring conversations)

Normandy - I dont think controlling the Normandy directly would be a good idea. Its not a shootem up, joker and EDI should be left to it.

Music - keep with the 80s synthesc music - its great!!

More suicide/virmire esc missions before the end of the game

Lots of difficult decisions

Better conversation pacing

Indoctrination - would be cool if there were several missions that expose the team to indoctrination (via whatever means), which would force you to use different team members or else run the risk of them falling under its influence. Shep would be "immune" of course:) or not....

Banter - Between squadmates and shepard - something that i felt was missing in ME2 - though LOTSB did a great job

Thats all I can think of for now....

I hope Kaidan or Ashley will come back. NOT a Virmire Survivor, but two really different characters.

Please, no more planet scanning. Or travels in paper box. Mako in a normal landscape will be good.

Overheat system with possibility to change thermal clip if overheated. Or thermal clips system with possibility to shoot very slow and not in max. power without thermal clip.

Consequences of previous choices shown not only as email.

Possibility to choose between Council and Cerberus.

Explained background of the Reapers.

Several endings

I came across this again myself recently ( doing another ME1 playthrough ). Also there is reference to an enormous mass inside of a gas giant. The briefing about the planet made mention of speculation about a 'Jupiter Brain'; an ancient massive supercomputer that is housed inside of the gas giant. Also there is another world that is unremarkable except that its moons have been scuplted into the images of an unknown space fairing race. Another world has been scarred by a glancing blow from and ancient mass effect weapon. That could be in reference to the weapon TIM mentioned concerning the derelict Reaper. I would love to do some tombraiding with Liara in ME3 and this stuff is great material to do so.

id miss that you can customise you own ship and specs on it, even miss som more space scene battles with som reapers and such, somthing id think can be change in mass effect 3 wouldt be that shouldt not be a level modfaction for if it easy-normal-hardcore e.c.t you know

and that ohh longer game time with the story line this time kinda takes the edge of a game that it is to short :) i mass effect 1-2 you get 2 romance love storys id like that from the mass effect 2 that and off spring from shepard have come to be and that he be fighting for he's own familie aswell

he wife and child and that it have to be made so if it is tali he have hat a love romance with it is a child from her or from miss lawson, id say that is shouldt giv game more fun that why and in you choises from the past 2 games :)

that wouldt be somthing for a game of that size :)

I want the flotilla and other worlds to have such a depth as the Citadel in ME1.

I could walk around in the Citadel for so long and not get bored. Everytime seeing new things.

I think I posted in one of these threads a long time ago on page 60 or 80 or something.... Anyway, something I just thought of. I was just listening to pandora internet radio, and on came a Midas commercial. Anyway, it was Martin Sheen doing the voiceover, and all I could do was think of the Illusive man.

I think a nice touch in ME3 could be if you've supported Cerberus in all things, you might show that Cerberus has done a lot in the intervening time to make itself a household and ACCEPTED name. So if you've given a lot of support to Cerberus, it has begun fixing its public image and little advertisements in the various will say things like "paid for by Cerberus Industries" or some little catchphrase.

Conversely, if you've done all you can to screw the IM over, there could be an advertisement that vaguely refers to your situation and covertly mocks you for it. "Tired of feeling alone in the galaxy? Like there's no one else in the whole universe who believes you? Our Cerberus specialists believe you, and our fully trained medical staff blah blah blah".

Some little touches like that might be nice.

I would like a Hanar squadmate, maybe in a battlesuit.

Also a three-way romance with Liara and another romance option. Come on Bioware you've one stuff like that before. And I don't want to dump my ME1 and ME2 romance.

In Mass Effect 3 they should make secondary missions to count more in: credits, exp. point and even story missions!

One mission, secondary or story would be great on Earth!

A Vorcha team mate.

Keep the simplicity of RPG elements from Mass Effect 2.

Keep the soundtrack form Mass Effect 2.

Mission on Earth or other council races

Other genders of the council races

customization (on a grander scale, such as having different peices of armor instead of having one type of armor, have specific pieces for choosing. )

missions that require no armor

more interaction with crew members, or have crew members move around the ship and talk with other crew mates.

Have greater crowd interaction- referring to the Assassins Creed series if you bump into someone, they should react.

Mass Effect 3 for the PC needs DX11.

I love the way the ME2 looks already, with all the different weapons & armor being nicely detailed. However Tessellation would be a Really Big Treat.

Having the Option to Unlock the Frame Rate would be Nice Aswell. so I can get 70, 90 or 100 fps

I would like the Option to remove my helmet whenever I wish, hated that you couldn't in ME2

I hope the Mass Effect team is either reading this or already thought of it, because these would make great side or even main missions

About Armor...

I want to be able to remove my Helmet whenever I choose, with every different Armor Type

I think it was nice to have the DLC Armor in ME2, but I would like to be able to pay to get the Armor I can't pre order, it sucked not being able to Collect Everything, and I'm the sort of Guy who SERIOUSLY collects Everything.

Having Something Like Asari Armor for a female Shepard would be really cool ; seriously it might work

Also havomg Armor Manufacturers Give you different Armor types like the first game would be nice too, just 4 or 5 armor types though, not 12.

Finally Armor Customization -- there should be customizable parts for each Armor Type, the same way you could with shepards regular armor.

for example Collector Armor... You have Collector Snipers and Workers, It might be possible to use sniper or worker armor in addition to your regular collector armor. Or you could use regular, worker and sniper parts.

another example is Cerberus Armor... in Cerberus there are Officers, Operatives, Commando's, Snipers and Engineers all of which could have different Armor. Each with separate parts you could combine for a unique look.

like a Snipers Helmet and Shoulder with Commando Chest and Legs along with Engineers Shoulders.

Having that sort of Customizability would be Truly satisfying, especially as an RPG fan

I think ME3 should all be about Alliances. ME 1 was about stopping Saren and learning the truth about Reapers and indoctrination etc. ME2 was all about putting a strong loyal team together to take the fight to the collectors. ME3 should continue in that vain, and get Shepherd working to get all the various species fighting against the reapers. You could visit the Krogans, Turians (Turian homeworld! Turian females!), Asari, Salarians, Rachni (if you saved them), Drell (and Hanar, if you have an underwater area), Elcor, Humans (Earth!), Volus, Batarians, Quarians, Geth, and possibly Vorcha. This gives Bioware time to craft small hub worlds for heaps of species, lends a urgency to the situation, allows them to continue the storyline, and view new areas. And of course, you could put together a new team or hand pick old members.
