Ok i had to sign up just so I could comment on this topic....

After playing both Me1 and Me2...(btw i was late to the party...didnt play 1 till after 2 was released). I would have to say I liked the original more.

Yes part 2 had better graphics. An amazing final mission. And a great story. But it lacked in alot of ways.

Things I thought were done poorly or not at all in part 2 I would like to see in part 3.

1.The inventory. Love it or hate it...atleast ME1 had it. Me2 like others have said was just, here take this upgrade and be on your way, kind of thing. No thought, no customization what so ever. Could it have been scaled down or cleaned up a bit. Yes. Should it go, hells no. Its a RPG/Shooter...not just a shooter. Also the whole "costume" thing is just rediculous.  I mean....ya jack looked cool as hell...but would you go to battle like that? In ME1 we went from everyone wearing full blown armor to a few straps covering nips in ME2.

2.Where are the  mass battles? When i finished ME1 and went into ME2 i was thinking they would add some full scale battles with your entire team fighting. Not always having you be the "Shadow" squad...or the diversion...while the real battle is taking place thru comm chatter or cutscenes. Like in ME2's final battle....you have a cutscene with the majority of your team holding back the collectors so you can move forward with a whole...2 others?!?Really...couldnt they atleast split up half and half...not all these guys stay and you three go save the world.lol. I actually wanted to let some other guy go on ahead and let me fight off the huge front of guys trying to get past ...lol.

3.The Mako...yes that god awfull term everyone seems to hate except for those rare few. Im on the shelf here. I hated the way it controlled, and i dont think I ever actually explored a full map while on a planet like I believe they wanted you to when they designed the game...but i liked the feeling of actually visiting and exploring another planet. Some of the scenery was amazing as well, IMHO...Yes the cookie cutter warehouses and RV like buildings were lame as hell....but you were doing something. The whole scanning...needs to go and whoever thought that was a smart idea should be fired. Id rather have the old mako back even without improvements then be sliding a target back and forth over a circle hoping for a spike on a graph.

4 More romantic interaction. Its all either....dont talk to me....or Hey baby...lol. Wheres the flirting? I mean i try to play paragon on my character and in part 2 especially I always felt like I couldnt be too nice to any one cause they might think i like them. Just cause i want to know if your doing ok after.. this/that/other thing..happens to you...doesnt mean i want to marry you...sorry.  And along the same lines. Why cant you just call somebody to see you. In part 1 the captain is always on the intercom saying...come meet me here...or go do this...but when you get in command you got to walk to them....grrrr....lol. Why cant you call meetings to go over things. Or invite people to talk in your quarters? I mean....just cause I call you up doesnt mean I have to have sex with you....maybe i figure you can talk more openly without bieng around the whole crew etc.

5. Space battles. This intrigues me and horrifies me at the same time. I see this coming and if its not done right ill hate the whole game(ME3) With Reapers coming...aka...sentient ships....how are you suppose to have foot type battles? Your going to have to have space battles when trying to fight off hordes of large ships/machines. If they go the whole space flight sim route...like an old star trek game...it will just ruin it. Im thinking having you at the head of a fleet with joker by your side...more so...directing traffic...with cutscenes would be better. Something like...ok make a choice...go after this ship or attack from this position...and this cutscene happens. It would stay with the whole ME feel more so then space flight battles.

6. Why so linear?? Me1 was great with this. I took control of the ship and started doing side quests and lvl'd my character before doing my main quest. In ME2 your pretty much forced to jump right in to the main story...and kind of do side quests on the way. You cant even start to get any kind of new weapons or upgrades till after you get Mordin. Theres no  other group or military personal asking for your help...the council doesnt ask you to check up on anything else while your running around etc.  Maybe its just me nit picking but I felt like I had alot more freedom in ME1.

I could keep going here but im getting tired...lol.....but anyway...heres how my ME3 wishlist breaks down.

1.More inventory/customization. People should wear armor in battle...not normal clothes. Give me armor...not costumes.

2.Mass epic battles. Enough of this small group stuff already...its fine for most small stuff but i want full scale!

3. Planet exploration in some form...not scanning!!

4.More interaction as a whole...not just romatically and have it make sense. No more hunting down people at thier stations.

5Please NO space battles!! If i wanted a flight sim/sp[ace game id play star trek...there are plenty of horrible space sims available...dont make ME3 one of em.

6. More open...with more choices. And btw....why do people follow you when your an evil *beep*??

7. Dont take away my LI's!! No matter who you choose pretty much they are gone next game. If i choose tali in ME2...i want her to already like me in ME3!!

8. Tali's face...lets see it already...really...come on!!

9. Make upgrades more meaningfull....in ME1 by end game i could cut people down easy....after all the upgrades in ME2 i still felt like i was just the same lvl as when i started.

10. A quick release date! I want them to take thier time and do it right but...i want it.... now!!!

Ty all...if you read all that...then wow...i appreciate it...
all you who hate me for taking up space...flame on!!

Hm I gotta say one thing I got angry with In Mass effect 2 was that Ashley, aka Alliance lover didn't join Shepard's crew...but with any luck I'm hoping that her and some of the old crew members might indeed join up and like - Start kicking the reapers in their big yellow Eyeballs ^,^

but one thing I'd love for Mass effect 3 would be having what's left of he original crew joining with the new one, as I said before and like recruiting some other Specialists and throwing into Commander Shepards anti - reaper Coalition :D

I think, for the most part, ME2 really improved upon ME1. I think ME3 in general would not need much deviation from that.

Game Size
First of all, make ME3 really epic. I don't care if it comes on 4 discs, I'd love to have a huge final chapter.
Perhaps bigger enviorments and more complete cities. Ability to explore good old Earth as others have mentioned.
Prefered the Citadel in ME1, but if more cities can be added I wouldn't mind if it was scaled down.

Inventory system

Much better, and less tedious without the item by item omni-gel conversion.
Not to mention more realistic! The only thing that would a good thing to bring back from ME1 system the adding mods to weapons.

Clips vs. Overheat
I totally prefer the clip system over overheat. It makes the battles more tactical when you have to conserve ammo.

Character Interactions
More interaction/conflicts/disputes between team members, possibly with big consequences.
I also liked the group discussions you had in ME1 from time to time.

Loading Screens
I agree with others that want the elevators/scanning back. It added to the atmosphere and the flow of the game.

Enviromental Interaction/Effects
Really liked the little touches, where you get burned by the sun, windy bridge etc. More of that!
If possible maybe more use of the environment to kill of foes, besides explosive canisters.

Minerals/Mining
I think it was a pretty ok to ME2. I don't mind it that much, just took too long! I'd like there to be more info on what minerals the planet mostly consists of and maybe have a larger radius on the scanner so it takes less time. It was kind of a pain in the butt to find anything besides Palladium.

Map
Was actually better in ME1. The ME2 map was a little too detailed, it was hard to decipher at times.

Combat
If possible, would like to see more large scale battles, like with the Salarians on Virmire in ME1 where you can actually see them fight. Really liked the more simplified team instructions. Though I did not like the team mates rushing out with a pistol towards a Geth Prime without my command.

Normandy
Not a huge deal, but would like there to be stairs to all floors on the ship.

Things i missed on my last post....i was half asleep when i wrote it....

Shortcut keys
Where did they go. No "J" for your journal or "I" for inventory.....we constantly have to go into the pause menu and go from there. I know this game is meant to be played on many different platforms but us pc people like our shortcuts.

No right click on map
Another thing I was wondering what happened to. It was so nice just to right click to zoom out when on the galaxy map in part 1....why do away with what works?? I know these 2 are a bit nit picky but come on....common sense here.

Why wait for the final battle
Seems all your romantic interactions always have to wait till the final battle.  if you get your love interest to like you half way thru the game its annoying that for the rest they always say the same thing...basically wait till the final battle....like others have said....does Shephard need to get some before he can save the world? The ultimate goal shouldnt be to get some....not all players are 14 yr olds giggling over getting laid....i care more about the relationship between the people and how it changes after sex. Just another way to limit the game thats not needed.

Why do people follow a *beep*hole?
I always wondered this. yes its fun to play as a jerk....but why do these people stay with him after he treats them like he does? Not to mention still falling for him romantically. There should be more to the loyalty system then just a mission or getting dumped. How they are treated on a day to day basis should matter more. Should you be able to be a hard a-hole.....yes.....should you be able to belittle your officers and have them still love you for it....no.

Why is my ship sectioned off??
Another thing that makes no sense to me. Its my ship...im in charge....why am i locked out? I dont care if there is nothing/no one  there at the moment....let me in and quit locking the darn doors!!

Where are the personal quarters??
Why is everyone reduced to sleeping in the cargo bay or life support area of the ship? Why dont they have their own rooms? The captain does. Why not everyone else? Or atleast maybe a combined living space. Maybe that would appease the "realistic" bunch. Have it more like a sub nowadays or something with an area of bunks and lockers etc. IDK....something....why do they have to sleep where they work?? lol

Just a few stupid things ive noticed in the games id like to see fixed in 3.

Oh and btw....,Let the people move!! They have feet...let them use them!!

I enjoy Mass Effect 2. However, for ME3 may I ask for a Normandy without leather seats, please? I don't feel very comfortable in the Cerberus-Normandy.

Bring back changeable rounds! I know we have abillities for that now but don't you miss the good old days when we could use high explosive rounds and one of our abillites? And any class could use any round? Also I would prefer to see more abillites in general, we had about 4, in ME2 whereas in ME1 we had quite a few...

I don't know if everyone just thinks for 3 loyalty missions will be unavoidable but if 3 could contain no loyalty missions like 1 did I'd like that more and more content, dailouge, and other scenarios could be focused on instead of developers and witters focusing on so and so's loyalty mission that has nothing to do with the main plot story the only semi type of for lack of better word relationship mission would be your LI would have a situation that needs solving or emotional support through something kind of mission where if you fail it you no longer get to keep your LI ( they break up with you and depending on how bad the screw up is they may not stay friends with you either) but this relationship mission in no way effects LI's loyalty to you it just redefines what you are to them a Commander or a Love also it would factor into some key moment in the game maybe your LI uncovers super secret tech and goes on their own mission w/ mini squad to retrieve it for you and t hen you need to go save them with a choice of kill LI or someone else sense bad guys have them or something.

Some have even suggested have LI do some type of saving gesture that results in serious injury or death for them this scenario could be factored into the game depending on how well or not well you did with LI's support mission if you did well they get injured do bad and they either betray you or they die? Just a suggestion I'm sure the writers could hammer out the details if they so chose.

If crew men have to leave SR2 in 3 I'd like real reasons not dumb ones for instance Thane has illness which most likely means he will be in hospital by the time 3 starts or on retirement so he should leave but still be accessible in deep conversation and love moments with those who romanced him for X amount of times and or till mid way through game then he dies and maybe we can go to his funeral? See how Drell's do that cultural exposure that sort of thing.

Samara sounds like she was planning on leaving anyway and will be an npc for 3 anyhow sense she is a justicar but I'd like at least 1 sidequest that you can team up with her on and this maybe a good option to have vulnerable shep no guns far off back up sort of thing make it failable in terms of shep gets seriously injured if he/she is found out not in terms of bad guy just walks off sort of thing.

Now that others have mentioned it I can see Mordin either leaving and starting a super lab for insane tech and bio weapons or him becoming an NPC on the Normandy providing medical status reports and medical upgrades because of his age he has hinted several times he is considered rather old for a Salarian sounds like he may want to retire too.

Grunt for me could go either way he could stay sense shep is his battle master yet at the same time there is reason he could leave too sense Wrex is manning Tuchanka though if Grunt did leave I'd miss the power house I would not want a 3rd Krogan crew member though sense it'd then feel like a double Grunt and Wrex replacement rather then just a Wrex replacement.

So anyway there is 3 slots open there for new crewmember recruitables which with the use of SB, Citadel (if rejoined), and or Cerberus (if stayed with) resources you could easily research find vids on and other useful info into all backgrounds, fighting styles, and general mental/emotional states of potential crewmembers bringing back all non busy ME1 members, ME2 members, and new 3 members more new 3 characters could be added if you killed off alot of crew in 2 but they'd be subject to weather or not player killed them or not.

I like how in fallout 3 you can use you're pipboy to tune into radio stations can the omni tool do this and have galaxy news, club tunes, and either Cerberus or Alliance news

I'm sure this doesn't need to be said but voting for Tali and Garrus to stay on in 3 not come back but stay on and have deeper friend and love dailouge and character missions not loyalty just for instance helping Garrus out with that issue he has can have strong friend / friend dailouge for nonLI shep can have new dailouge options for LI involved Shep.

Same goes for Tali though I'd imagine the fleet would find out you and her where LI ( if you where) or just want to cash in on the fact you're good friends with her and you're a Spector/Savior of Galaxy and want both of you to do some uber dangerous overlapping mission to prove you will be loyal to fleet and in turn they will give you their support. More deep friend dailouge for no LI sheps and different love option dailouge for LI shep.

I liked one persons idea of being able have friend dailouge open at all times with LI you're dating and or refuse to date and on the left side of the wheel have a romance tab that once clicked will open up 5 options of various love related type of text if you want to engage them in that type of talk if you don't pick the option LI or Turned down LI will stay on the friend talking lines.

Bring back the Mako but with better planet design for it's use I'm one of those who thinks it was poor planet design that harmed the Mako sure the thrusters needed tweaking and it needed to be alittle heavier so it doesn't roll over but the concept of it was sound and its more tank like which for military usage is a good thing. I don't like the speedy no shields hover craft it tries to look cool but to me it looks and feels like a joke for anything but racer styled missions I feel like I was playing Star Wars pod racer with that thing.

I agree for new LI if there will be any in 3 should progress start as friends, move to flirting, then dating, and well you know the rest. ME2 did feel alittle direct I romanced Tali and was like Wow girl slow down! First she's surprised she that I want to date there is that really bitty scene in Engineering Core then she's practically feeling me up. At least with Kaiden's romance he was noticeably flirting and making sure before trying to go all out he just really needed it all scripted better. I don't know maybe have girls write the love dailouge, scenes, and scripts next time?

On space battles I don't want to have to pilot the ship for my battles I feel like SEGA's startreck has comeback with that maybe random battles breakout between space war ships and reapers and if you stumble upon them can ( which you'd see it happening on the galaxy map when you enter the solar system) you could click the battle and go into it and a % based off of how well you command your crew will determine if your aid helps win the battle and you get something or you loose the battle and get some type of penalty (what I don't know don't ask) you could also see same battle on screen and do nothing it is time sensitive so if the forces fighting loose and you didn't attempt to help then maybe this system is locked for you or whenever you enter it you now have to fight reaper ships at random times like for every 5 times you come into this system a ship will attack you.

Several Overlaping sidequest would be fun some large epic sidequest would be neat also curtain sidequest would become available or be lost as you progress through the game, some only become available after to complete the game, and some sideqest link into others for instance in beginning of game you smuggle a package to so and so, mid way though game that package winds up with Merc A group they use it to attack Colony X you need to go stop them if para or you can always help them for financial gain if ren.

NPC response to weather you're para or ren like if you're ren they run sellers may be too frightened to sell to you but if you're para civilian npcs would come up to you and stores would work with you like normal.

More reward for staying with in conversational parameters if you're having a neutral conversation ( asking a questions, stating a fact, or telling you info) you get more reward for being neutral sense a para ren is not needed but if you picked either one of those you'd still get points just not as much. If a para/ren situation pops up ( stand off, hostages, negotiations, ect) then more points awarded to para/ren picks then neutral picks.

Mako drop for explorable planets and mine for minerals as you go the only way that damn scanner needs to play back into all this is if the planet can't be explored do to environmental pressure or something drastic like that. That scanner prob crap was the worst!

Speaking of minerals bring back an economy in 3 make weapons, armor, clothing, and minerals all sellable and buyable in 3.

I agree with how you treat you're crew should factor into weather you're a good leader worth fallowing or a ****ty one that deserved crew abandonment a hidden meter will factor in on not just dailouge but do you help them or not when they ask, do you go talk to them or ignore them on ship, do you take them ground or hub side more or less, and for LI do you love them a love test mission would work with this and give you lots of points if successful and you'd loose alot if not. The crew "happiness" meter would be hidden from players and you'd have to judge on their mood and behavior if you where doing well or not some would respond well to you treating them harshly while other would not and if they stay in red too long may leave or if they are essential to the plot course may work well with you until things improve this happiness meter would also effect how they do on ground teams with you and how fast upgrades get done.

I never liked for either game how they must track who you pickup for 1 it was a silhouette shape for 2 it was locked doors I don't want either for 3 just do a picture of the crewmember and their name like a file you can look it up see how you're doing and if kelly gives any warning of their psych profile.

Can we have Aleena as an possible squadmate? Wrex makes her sound pretty badass.

Also, tech abilities should be un-neutered.

I agree 100% with everything the author of this thread has said.  My suggestion to Bioware is this:  Please just bring back all the RPG elements that were in Mass Effect 1.  Bring back the ability to buy new armour and weapons at stores.  Bring back getting experience points after each enemy I kill instead of after each mission.  Bring back being able to apply my "level up" points to things such as increasing my assault rifle damage and accuracy as well as raising my defense and all that good stuff that was in Mass Effect 1.  Make the citadel huge again and more explorable.  Take away health regeneration during mid battle.  Maybe make it something like Dragon Age: Origins where you do not get your health back until after the skirmish.  Having your shields regenerate mid battle is fine but if you want your actual health points to come back mid battle then you should have to use one of your limited medi-gels like in Mass Effect 1.  Just please Bioware, please bring back the RPG elements that were in Mass Effect 1 that were not in Mass Effect 2.  I know you guys can find a way to do this while also keeping the menus free of clutter.  Also, some sort of crew abandonment option should be there as well like in Dragon Age: Origins.  Like if you start doing a lot of actions that a certain member of your crew does not like, then he or she may threaten to leave your group.  However, it should be as easy as simply buying them gifts to earn back their respect.  I think it could be a really deep and awesome way to flesh out the Mass Effect RPG experience.  "Do I save this guy?  If I don't then Liara might leave me but if I do then entire Alliance fleet could be destroyed"  Things like that maybe.

I would like a weapon upgrade that makes heat sinks more resistant to heat, allowing you to fire off more rounds before ejecting your current heat sink. Instead of having 40 shots per heat sink in your Avenger, you get 50 or somthing. I would also like the option to choose between taking the Mako or the Hammerhead to explore planets. Speaking of which, give us the large scale of ME1's uncharted planets with the detail of ME2's N7 missions. And despite what others might say, I would like space combat, but only if they can make it work, of course.

I'd be happy with five simple things:
1. a lot of emotional, action-packed endings to both ME3 and Shepard's story
2. incredible scenery and atmospheric effects like on some of the uncharted planets from ME1
3. the return of every squadmate from the previous games, as well as emotional endings for all of them
4. a steering wheel for the Mako, or some actual armor for the Hammerhead
5. last but not least, a sniper that uses explosive rounds which flings people around like helpless rag-dolls! (I literally replayed ME1 3 times to snipe people)

2 things I'd like to see enhanced:

1- Proper 3d vision support. ME1 suffers from minor/medium graphical issues with it and ME2 is practically unplayable for me with it because of improper handling of 3dvision.

2- Size of squad you use depend on the mission. Some missions you take 1 or 2 peeps along as bodyguards or because of stealth reqs. Other missions you take more or even the full team along for an all out assault on an important objective. The splitting up in ME1 and ME2 where you always only take along 2 of your team-mates while the rest sips caffe latte somewhere feels too artificial.

I gotta say I agree with a lot of what I read here, the being more like ME1 and and all. I never had any problems with the mako (pc version) nor the elevators as a matter of fact I liked both. I could write one hell of a big post with ideas and all, but right now I am too tired, plus they've been said before either by me or not. One thing I wanted to point out though was the camera, I think the camera needs to go back to the way it was in ME1 rather than have it too close to shepard as in ME2 which made the game feel more like a third person action/shooter game where as the cam from ME1 had an rpg feel to it if that makes sense.

A couple of other things (kinda in a nutshell)

Much much much more longer main story. Longer than ME1&ME2 (100% completed) combined, with much much much more side quests.

The ship customization needs to be less linear.(giving you numerous choices on how you want to customize the normandy.

The normandy as a whole needs to feel bigger from the inside, so let every single inch in it be reachable and bring back the stairs.

No loading screens and such, I don't care for the "casual fans", but you could give them an option where things could be cut into load screens (like elevators) even though I really think if they (casual) want that they could go and play other games as there are plenty of 5-8 hour shooters (fps or not) out there.

I also want to land the normandy then go myself to the door lock, take my teammates, get outside to the planet's port etc just like ME1.

Ever squad member needs to be unique in every way. Ex gameplay wise: Garrus should be this incredible sniper with a lot of different sniping skills and you could command him to get on higher ground and snipe either a particular target or everyone etc. Thane should be able to do what he does in cutscenes all shadowy and all. Katsuni could infiltrate and plant explosives at the enemy's whatever (haven't downloaded her yet so this is jsut on top of my head). Zaeed go all in, attracting enemy fire and giving them hell and all kinds of crazy stuff. etc

SOME SPOILERS
Give Samara that power at the end as well as other big biotic powers, seems fitting with her being a justicar and all
END SPOILERS

Maybe give Tali the ability to use robots/geth/machines. She could acquire more and more through combat, research etc (kinda like a mini rpg thing you know, nothing linear at all) and could summon them for aid in battles or something. (how they actually get there might be tricky, maybe she can just hack them on the field in battle or not, like kotor)

As for the inventory problem in ME1, the solution is actually fixing it which is very simple, not completely removing it

Most things concerning gear, items/inventory/looting, space combat, rpg rpg rpg, story, larger planets/environment, vehicles and a billion other things has already been addressed many times (so has some of the things I mentioned if not all) I don't think I need to mention them and as I already said, I am tired right now.

figuare9 I agree with you

No loyalty missions missions for 3. I think some of the of the missions in 2 could've been added to the main story instead of being loyalty missions forinstance Legions mission that could've been added to the main story Legion not only is getting rid of heretic geth but he also needs to board the ship to get info on a secret project these geth where working on so you do it and find out its a death ray that could've worked I do agree more main story missions I think in 1 we had like 4 - 5? In 2 we had 4 ? Thats really short notice I'm not counting loyalty missions senses they're glorified sidequest but not alot of main push the plot forward kind of adventures in 3 we should have several branching ones with a sub boss you need to track down and get before going on the the reapers however you're going to defeat a trillion ship armada I don't know but we'll see.

Once again go back to the movie style epic feel of 1 rather then the book or TV show feel of 2 script writing and screen acting and get rid of sexually suggestive shots when not necessary I don't talk to Miranda precisely for that reason I'm waiting for her to install a pole in her room.

Allowing for flashback missions with Shepard's past with well thought out and written dialogue and acting I like the fact you got to go to the Normandy crash site but it did feel and act like an afterthought I didn't like the photo flashbacks too much I know they where trying but movies would've been better of a specific moment in time with so and so rather then their photo.

For load screens I don't know if I commented here on it or not but anyway I'd say CG images of interesting people, places, and hubcenters with useful tips on gameplay, facts on people or orginizations, and maybe even interesting quotes from various npcs around the galaxy. This way you're looking at a nice screen but also reading at the same time. There would also be sometype of timer or meter showing how much longer you need to wait.

Well I meant that I didn't want loading screens like in ME2, but get to actually take the elevator to different floors for example

One of my male shephards came out looking like jay leno when transferred over...another of my female characters ended up having her eyeshadow look like she got beat up when transferred....its annoying...i keep going back and redoing my character....going thru one....just to see if they look ok come part 2....lol

Oh yeah! And bring back the large planet exploration of ME1 but combined with the widely different environments of ME2. In other words, I want to be able to land my Mako on a planet and ride around and explore it like in ME1 but I don't want every side mission planet I land on to look the exact same with the same base structure and everything.

I second Herc. The environments of each area in ME2 are so different and interesting while the ones in ME1 were basically the exact same terrain painted a different color to represent an ice world, green world, lava world.

Being able to gather resources/minerals with the Hammerhead (players does a blanket scan of the landable area and the mineral locations show up on the map as yellow objective circles) would be great. Hammerhead needs more health, and a zoom-in on the main gun though.

I've already said this before but I'll just stick it in here again:

I'd like the customization of weapons back in ME3. In ME1 you could put an ammo upgrade and a weapon upgrade on a weapon. You could mix and match them for each squad mate. In ME2 you just have a weapon and change the ammo types in battle. Not terrible, but not as good.

Also, being able to buy and sell weapons and gear (having an inventory). Only being able to buy damage upgrades and random fun stuff like magazines(not weapon magazines, like ones you read) isn't as good as being able to take gear in, sell it and save up for better stuff. There's much less incentive to explore an area when you know you're only going to find some credits or 500 iridium. In ME1 I'd search whole areas, grab as much junk weapons and gear as I could carry and sell the rest to stores. I ended the game with 6.25 million credits...

To whoever was talking about bringing the camera farther away from Shepard in ME3, no. The camera is fine. Mass Effect IS a third person shooter/RPG so it doesn't need to be pulled back so much.

Also, the elevators in ME1 WERE awful. So dumb to have to wait 20 seconds to take the elevator between levels in the Normandy.

I'd like characters talking to each other and the rest of the crew and not just Shepard on the Normandy in ME3

Sorry if somebody already mentioned this.

Wanted Improvements for Mass Effect 3

Just finished playing Mass Effect 2.  It was awesome and great.
I offer these comments, wishes and hopes for the expected Mass Effect 3...

1)  Better squad movement.  Can I say more ?  Let's just say that I don't want a  door to come between me and my squad.  Also - when I give a command to move - they should move and not just yell that they'll get there and stand stock still !   ( Whass up with that ? )    Move your ass !

2)  Gee golly - It would be nice to be able to reply to some of those messages....

3)  I'm hopeful that there will be plenty to do on the ground, on the ship, and that an expected FINAL BATTLE can be either prepared for, participated in, or managed in an effective way. I expect that will be a challenge to produce.

4)  There was at least one occasion in M.E. 2 where a fellow used a term unique to his culture.  Unfortunately, that term had not yet been explained anywhere ( It wasn't in the Codex -and I couldn't ask ! ) - so I had to guess about what he meant  by being his "kr...."     ( Should I worry NOW about winding up on the galactic tabloids ? )   -What was that line from "My Own Private Idaho ?"    "Do you want to be my Dutch boy ?"   "Sir NO sir !"

5)  I'd hoped that after going out and kicking ass in M.E. 2 that Shepherd could return to his peeps and get a hug, a kiss, or a debriefing - but that was a bit limited.

Thanks for the incredible game !

1. I think in Mass Effect 3 you should be able to get your original team back that you had in Mass Effect 1.

2. Be able to customize your weapons and armor in more detail (example: for the sniper rifle be able to upgrade the scope for better accuracy, upgrade the barrel for more damage, and upgrade the ammo capacity.) The ammo types shouldn't be a power so that you can own different ammo types without using your abilities.

3. be able to use the Normandy's upgrades on missions not just for the "suicide" mission. It sucked that you have to spend time collecting resources (which was a great part of the game) to find out that your ship upgrades are of little use

4. The character leveling up should have more depth to it than just a few points for 5 abilities. It should have more to it an example:

- Computer Skill: the higher the skill the easier it is to hack and bypass

- Unarmed Combat Skill: the higher the skill the more melee damage and also less time between each hit

5. there should be more mini-games in ME3 not just hacking and bypass like in ME2. An example could be like overriding security algorithms for controlling powered down mechs and activating turrets
