More speeches! I love the moment at the Collectorbase where you give that speech. The same feeling I had in ME1 with the speech when you get the SR1.

Combat
I'd like more depth in the melee combat. For example if you melee someone who's meleeing you, Shepard could snatch their
gun and shoot them with it. Or if you double tap the melee button Shepard could grab the enemy and smash their head into his/her knee.
A quick evade ability would be much appreciated too. Like to quickly get behind cover, or dive out the way of a charging Krogan.
Characters
I think there should be some sort of system that keeps track of how often you have who with you. For example, if you have Garrus with you a lot of the time you could get bonuses for him and open up more conversations.
He could get more taunts and complement you differently. A few things like that, to help individualize him as someone you've had with you a lot.
The Normandy
To command the Normandy in battle would be awesome. Give orders for where to go and who to shoot
at. It could get complicated but it's something I'd like to do.

how they bioware handled side missions in the first game. the side missions for 2 are ok but it doesnt feel like your doing naything more then shooting some people. teh first gmae made it feel like you were doing a mini story mission. 2 has better veriation but not as good excution.
also would like to see weaposn and armor presented diffrently show dmg and fire rate that kind of thing maybe have like 5 guns of each type but 2 or 3 of be better for diffrent play styles. like have a assult rifle that really good for range with high dmg but low ammo and fire rate and other really bad acc. but very high fire rate and maybe an inbetween

The mako exploration in ME1 was nice, i liked the aspect that you could explore;
allthough the planets were boring and repetitive at some point
the first 8 or 10 were cool afterwards you could notice that the base textures were similar in many ways.
they shouldn't have dropped it out completely in ME2
i hope they re-use the exploration in ME3.
the fact that the inventory was dropped was a good idea, as some stated here before me.
The fiddling with hundreds of weapons and different armor was a real pain in the ass.
Earth would be a nice addition to visitable planets.
anyway... a great game though.

Also I hope that in ME3 there is a full scale invasion of the Reapers and at least make accounting the actions we choose. I want like it was already said, panic and Sheppard and his team the only ones that can really stop them despite the Council and their respective races best effort.

A few things i would like to see in ME3:
1) more weapons
2) customizable armor: only the vanilla N7 armor can be customized. I would enjoy removing the helmet of my inferno armor for instance..
3) more dialog options when talking to teammates: playing dragon age made me want more talking... And in that matter, ME2 falls a bit short. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the romance options and all, but being able to talk a bit more to my crew would be nice
4) approval rating system, like the one in Dragon Age: completing just one mission should not be enough to gain a crew member's loyalty. You have to make the right choices throughout the game to make them like you..
5) Tali's face

My wishlist...
* I'll admit it, I love finding better gear to my characters, so I really missed that "Oooooh, shiny!" feeling I often got in ME1. I think the only time I got in ME2 was when I got the particle beam and started giggling like the madwoman I am.
* Further work on the gear customization. It's an awesome feature. More pieces of gear and so on. Also, some more casual clothing would be awesome.
* More in depth side missions/mission chains, and character specific missions like the loyality missions. Also, I love helping out the rest of my crew with their problems.
And now for some random ranting...
As much as I really adore, love and care for the ME characters, they feel a bit... flat... When I played DA, I used to go back to camp just to talk to them, and I loved that I could have a honest discussion with Zevran and Leliana without having to get Alistair grumbling jealously at me or they getting the wrong idea. But in ME, I've always avoided talking with Liara, and now the three gentlemen in ME2, because it always seemed to initiate the romance. Really Bioware, please let us be able to get to know our team mates without making them want to pounce us before the final mission? I know Shepard might look good, but really, I'm just being nice here, don't read into it.
And while on the subject of romances, I really hope that we'll get some nice wrap up on them. Especially the ME1 ones, since hey, the drama of Horizon for us who is sticking with Ash/Kaidan until the end... I'm very curious and eager to see how it ends.
Oh and... More Joker-EDI banter! ... Wait, more party banter at all! I love getting a good laugh while running around.

Also one more thing. Why is there no fat people in Dragon Age or Mass Effect? Everywhere you turn its always just NPC's with the same amount of textures. It's quite unrealistic that there isnt a single fat person in the universes:P

" I wanna put pony tails on him, make Shepherd's dick a different colour, buy a hot tub for the Normandy, hoard masses of pointless shoulder pads, chest pieces and guns who's stat's differ only minutely (but as long as I've a billion of them to my name in the form of downloadable content, it doesn't matter). Also, I wanna have a brain-out rank system; start as a yuppie who cleans toilets with his mouth, to number-****ing-one master of the galaxy- the fact he's a commander ( Duhoy, wat dat mean any-how?) means nothing to me! You should be able to grow his hair long and smelly while simultaneously growing an entire nest of rare bird species. Plus, there should be multiplayer, because I'm a **** who likes to shoot things in the face, Bla, Bla, Bla. **** story- **** saving the galaxy- Most importantly, **** thought provocation. I want this mindless tripe Bioware, and I want it NOW! WA,WA,WA,WA, I'm an ignorant dumb ****-wit who picks his mothers **** out his finger nails................." Case in point, why cater for these genetic defects they label as people?

A few more suggestions…
Adopt the "helmets off" approach to cutscenes as in DA:O. Having Liari plant a big smooch on my Collector's Armor was just weird, and not seeing Shepard's face in these scenes makes it a little more disconnected.
I'm not normally one who advocates outright theft an idea from another game, but in this case I'll make an exception. I'd love to see the character info and HUD information (shields, health, etc.) integrated into the game/character in the manner of Dead Space.
A team with a certain number of designated roles and with several options of NPCs to fill each role. Detailed dossiers of potential team members would allow the player to select and recruit those best suited to his style of play (all renegades, all humans, all fema, etc.).
Missions that require breaking the team into a couple/few different squads to accomplish a single larger task (kind of like the part in Dragon Age during the final push towards the archdemon when you have to take control of your comrades back at the game). It's be cool to have a number of parallel teams the players hops between as each strives to complete a smaller sub-goal leading towards completion of a single large mission.
Backwards compatability: it would be incredible to be able to load ME and ME2 onto the hard drive and be able to play through all three using the graphics, tech and gameplay of ME3.
Bigger environments: I know that each area is crafted and plished like a gem, but there are some many beautiful vistas and locations we can see but never reach. It's such a tease. I know it can't all be built, but more would be great.
More environmental interactivity: simple things like being able to sit down, lay on a bed, pick up a cup, etc. while not advancing the plot or directly serving to enahnce gameplay per se really build a fuller sense of immersion.
Alien Shepard: if he can come back from the dead why not the option to become a Turian or an Asari?
I know some of this is pie-in-the-sky stuff, beyond the realistic capabilities of budget or technology, but this is a wish list after all. More to come later.

extra wish: dim conversation options that have already been chosen, while still allowing us to choose it again if we wish, and give options that don't move the conversation beyond a certain stage a different color. that way for those of us who simply want to know more about something we can more easily accomplish that goal, being able to ask what will give us more information and keeping track of what we've already asked would be a nice little addition to the convo system in 3.

^ This.
Many improvments were made to ME2, like improved combat for instance. But it seems to me it was at the expense of story and exploration. They still made a great game..but it could have been better. I am expecting great things from ME3. And being that I am a loyal paying customer..I better not be disappointed!

- Do not bring back the inventory system
- Do not bring back the numerous guns/ammo/armor that is never used
- Do not bring back elevators
- Do not bring back Liara/Ashley or Kaiden as playable characters
- Do include more hub areas or larger hub areas
- Do make the story levels more epic and grand ala ME1 or DA:O
- Bring back Tali, Miranda, Mordin, Wrex and Legion at least
- Make bosses drop upgrades. Include a few optional hard mode bosses such as the dragon in DA
- No more loyalty missions. Have a mostly loyal crew from the start. Keep the story on the fight. In ME1 you got the crew right at the start, in ME3 you have a good crew, keep them (or most of them). Give them sidequests, but the loyalty missions took up way to much of the main storyline time.
- Let characters talk to each other i.e DA:O
and the most important one
- Kick ass ending please.
Thats about it. In general its pretty perfect.

Please make squad mate armor customizable
Make a level 30 (or level cap) feel more powerful
In ME1 my singlarity could clear a room at max level. Now it captures maybe 2 enemies...
Streamline the element scanning process to make it more fun and quicker
More side missions involving moral choices
Bring back Thane, Tali, Garrus, and Samara as squadmates!
(this is just hopeful)
Introduce us to some new classes
This would be very cool to have more than 6 classes.

First I want to say that Mass Effect 2 is THE BEST game I ever played. If it would have been better I would have probably cried when I've finished it
.
So here is my wishlist:
1. More gameplay:
The game is GREAT. I have no human words for it (neither quarian or asari
) but it lacks gameplay. After you finish the main quest there are just some side-quests (and in the near future some explorable worlds with the hammerhead) that don't have any (or to much) impact on the story and it feels as if there is no point in playing any longer. I would love to have A LOT more worlds with cities to explore (like Ilium, Omega etc.) and A LOT more quests that actually have impact on the main story (like changing a character, maybe losing one from the squad, anything that would be important). Also I am amazed by how many dialogues (and interactions, especially with females
) you can have with your team-mates but I would want more if it's possible.
2. Dialogues:
It bothers me that what the character says it's a bit different compared to the line that I choose. I hope that in ME 3 the character will say exactly what I choose (I know they can't put the hole line in there, it would fill the screen but at least put words from it).
I don't know if I want anything else, the game was simply a masterpiece but I know what I want the most: make it BIGGER, LONGER.
