1- Proper 3d vision[/b]
support. ME1 suffers from minor/medium graphical issues with it and ME2
is practically unplayable for me with it because of improper handling
of 3dvision.

I see no chance, I think bioware signed something that prevents PC version to look significantly better than xbox counterpart.

Theres no other explanation.

Gearbox patched up UE3 Borderlands promptly and without hassle, one of the best 3d titles out there.  Gameplay owns ME too. Gearbox is a PC developer afterall though.^_^

There are (potentially) at least 3 characters that could have been promoted to very powerful titles. If there are loyalty missions, let it be to help them - who can then help you. My squad's been fighting with me and getting revived, they're loyal! If you want to help a crewmember with a personal matter thats fine - that sounds like some dialog choices and you're trying to be a good bud.
My impression was ME1 helping the Alliance, ME2 was helping humanity - and by proxy everyone else. Perhaps the 3rd one would be about not just recruiting a squad, but allies. Planets and colonies could help you watch for Reaper invasions/spies.  All these little nuggets from ME1 and ME2 could add to that, say, if you helped Zhu's Hope, its already ready to assist. Ideas for aid would be free resources from a loyal planet (thus reducing/removing the probing - which seems to be unpopular) could be added, intel (secret missions?) from another.
The mini-Citadel sucked. Some may hate all the walking around, but it looks freaking huge, not a dang closet spacestation. But its shops were my favorite...
Make a face to your villain in ME3. I sort of feel like ME2 was giving two badguys, and neither was really that great since one was the most dubious person at best. The approach from ME1's evil felt more satisfying.
Speaking of satisfying, um.. sum up the romances into something more than a hug and a handshake afterwards?
I am not sure why, this is completely selfish.. but somehow I expected something with Emily Wong. Still want. Romances off of the ship (Parasini/Shiala/ included?? Of course males too, but i only played maleshep) To support my request... evidence is there that Wong is a good dancer....
Cain must return.
Dialog. ME1 seemed to have a lot more. Possibly unpopular Elevator loading screens were good for this and satisfy one group of gamer compared to boring ship diagrams that ... appeal to engineers or designers? If a crew member refuses to talk to me twice, they're just asking for a renegade action upside the head.

I'm pretty sure the squadmate recruiting and loyalty missions of ME2 were in no way meant to be filler but very much part of ME2's narrative with consequences for ME3.

I mean, would you qualify the alliance forging journeys of Dragon Age Origins filler?

Yes I would.

Filler, if I am not mistaken refers to material that either doesn't pertrain the current or main arc of a story, or is material that is used to pad out the current or main story arc.

Now in DA:O the consequences of getting involved into the issues of each potentially allied faction are quite relevant to the final chapter of the game and indeed the ending, so that most certainly can't qualify as "filler".

Just because I don't like a musical genre doesn't mean it's crap. It means I don't like it and that's that.

And just because a certain game's story doesn't tickle you fancy doesn't mean it's "filler".

To deny all merits to a piece of narrative and moreover,to demand the makers to bend it to your narrow tastes  simply because you don't like it is extremely self-centered, which leads me to ask to questions :

1) Are you American?
2) Are you 12?

Give us Earth! If ME3 really is the end of the trilogy (better not be!) than at least let us explore our homeplanet. Have the reapers invade it or something. I duno, just bring earth into the picture. I want to see it in the future.

Earth is not home for many Shepards at all. Earth is only home for aproximately 1/3rd of the Sheppards and only if the player selected Earth-born as part of their Shepard's history. The other 2/3rds were either born in space or on a colony, either way Earth isn't their home.

I have been thinking a lot about Mass Effect 3 plot and I realized that a Geth Ambassador will be needed in order to unify all the races for the war against the Reaper.

Dont Obscure the Faces

I'm replaying the game for the umpteenth time and just wanted to add my two cents to a disable helmit feature.  Well as long as they are in a breathable atmosphere.

And as for helmits in the future for ME2 they came out with alot of cool helmits but I never wanted to use them because they get in the way of the characters expressions.  Also the downloadable outfits for your squadmates also covers their faces in some way.  I would like that to be avoided

Well, that's why I strongly advocate the return of the simple helmet-toggle feature from ME1. Easy to use, aesthetically pleasing and provides a solution for both people who like helmets and those who don't. Just flip between wearing it or not. ;) ..

Those decisions you made in those instances may be relevant to the ending. But sadly, the best you get is just some text on your screen about your consequences. That's just a cheap way to give your decisions relevance. The actual cutscenes of the ending are pretty much dependant on your origin and not your decisions.

Heck, I bet the decisions you made in Origins won't affect Dragon Age 2 at all. So much for consequences.

To deny all merits to a piece of narrative and moreover,to demand the makers to bend it to your narrow tastes  simply because you don't like it is extremely self-centered, which leads me to ask to questions :

2) Are you 12?

Sorry but what you're saying is incredibly rude. You are being offensive for no reason, and are you implying with that statement that Americans are dumb or narrow-minded? If so, you're the 12-year-old. Thinking in stereotypes like that is just childish and ignorant.

But if you want an answer to those questions:

1) No, I'm from Spain
2) No, I'm 26

DON'T END THE TRILOGY!!!!!!!! If Mass Effect 3 is the last titile for th xbox360 platform, so be it. This game needs to carry on to the next platform. Its got all the options it needs to continue for several more titles without watering down the story. kill some of the reapers, its a war make it real make it last like one and find new EVEN GREATER mass realys that let you chase the reapers into a NEW GALAXY or galaxies when we begin to defeat them. Don't kill the lead character and leave the stroy dead, every gamer hates to see a good game trilogy end prematurely, don't make this anothe one we'll al miss.

also don't have just a few items in the stores put more in their than we need, nonsense items ( the ship models were good, how about letting the varren come on board the ship, or osme exotic fish you can find on different planets or buy at  new colonies found)and make sure the stock progresses its no fun to just buy everything at once or be able to do all the missions in one place all in the  same sitting. force a little travel between missions  make us work for it.
let us choose our weapons regardless of what class we are or continue with the trend from ME2

Well, I don't have the time to read all 280 pages of this thread, but it seems like inventory, vehicle etc have already been discussed at length, while one major wish on my list wasn't and I hope I can explain this without spoiler...

Virmire in ME1 and the suicide mission in ME2 gave me the impression, that I didn't waste my time recruiting more than 2 squadmates. I didn't have to command them directly, but there was feedback and the com chatter - like banters - really added to the atmosphere and immersion. Sure, covert ops is one crucial element, but as game, story, crew and stakes get bigger and more epic, I desire the feeling that more than 10% of the crew actually matter and contribute to the mission rather than just sit around looking pretty or work as a key to give me access to sealed sections of my ship.

and just to bring it up...

tactical appraisal, anyone?
voice commands, anyone?

read a few posts from page 1 and skipped to the end (don't feel like sitting here readin' till ME3 comes out)
but the big things with me are (in no particular order)

Inventory (yes, I'm one of the "they should have fixed it, not removed it" people)

ability to explore ENTIRE Normandy from the get-go

Tali and Garrus have to have reasonably large roles (like in 1&2)

make thermal clips the hybrid system they were (I've been told) originally going to be

automate the bloody fish feeder

some kind of helmet toggle (I never use my terminus armor after my first time out on omega when I got booze all over the faceplate because I couldn't remove the helmet)

give everyone reasonable appropriate vacuum/hazardous environment gear

For me I'd like.

1. No Clown Car rooms. If you want virtually endless dudes to show up for slow but steady types.(I don't think you should, but oh well) then make the maps appropriate for that number of enemies.

2. It was done fairly well, but I'd like the story/setting to fit the gamist elements more. Things like if you want funding to be an issue, don't have you working for an organization that will spend billions on you and then not stock ammo, medigel, or pick up the tab on upgrades. Or have the merc hiring you to go after archangel offer 500 credits for the self described suicide mission, when 500 barely buys you a model ship. You aren't even getting the money, have the pay meet the costs of items in the setting.

3. Better Ai. A squad based game should not have your squadies act moronically and grab cover in the least convenient way. They should also stay in the cover you ordered them to.

4. Similar to 2. But don't have visuals that look good if it departs from the setting. The main example is armor. Find a way to make the armor look good, don't put people in super hero outfits.

5. I remembered.  Cutscense for all classes and have each interupt be a choice between paragon or renegade instead of only renegade 80% of the time.

And please make a combat system that's more like the one in ME1. It's okay to go into cover sometimes, but not throughout the whole fight. So please make stronger shields. And make the old ammo system with overheat. You could also us being able to choose which ammo system we would like.

No, no, no, no and no. ME1 combat is a clusterf*ck at best. I believe ammo powers with exception of warp should be available to all players and squadmates in the form of mods which can then be mapped to the powerwheel. The gameplay in ME2 is far superior to ME1. Bring back crouch, but that's it.

I meant that they should bring the overheat system back, or make us able to choose between thermal clips and overheat.
I agree with you on the last point, there should be more ammo types available for each class.

1-2 more abilities per squaddie would be nice too.

More armor and stuff of course.

More customization options like weapon colors. more patterns for weapons and armors ect,

Also more squade dialoge, I missed the random conversations of Mass Effect 1 on the elevator no matter how rare they were. What I would like is something like Dragon Age where your party would randomly start talking at triggered areas. It was fun.

What would also be cool is if your team was a bit more mobile on the ship, perhaps crossing areas to talk to each other. Where as in Mass Effect 2 where they barely spoke to each other.

The big thing that dissapointed me in ME2 was just the amount of dialoge in the game. Mass Effect 1 seemed to have a lot more discussion with various members of your squad, where as some members in 2 had only 2 conversations which seemed kind of weird. Garrus a main character in the first game and coming back in the second literally only had like 2 conversations if you were a male shepard or female uninterested in a relationship. Which seems really stupid considering you'd have a bro relationship or something with him by then.

Another thing about the visuals I'd like changed. Have them fit the character. Using Jack as an example, her opening movie makes her look bad ass. I don't think she could pull that off on casual. So as an example in ME3 don't have the cinematic of a krogan ripping a tank in half with his bare hands if in play that krogan can't rip an arm out of its socket. You should be able to make a appropriate cool cinematic for a character intro or whatever while keeping people to the powers they actually have.

I would just like to say I am a proud PC gamer, and while there is no current official release date for Mass Effect 3, I would just like to wish that when ME3 is released for PC it has been as near-flawless as all prior PC Bioware games have been. After getting the piece of **** from Treyarch that they called a game, I have been having my doubts about the future of PC gaming, so I wish that when this game comes out for PC it is as amazing as all Bioware games have been. Thank you.

The first ME2 trailer we saw (disregarding the teaser) was this short minute and a half presentation at E3 and in my opinion is still one of the best (launch trailer is number one no doubt). The thing I liked best about this trailer though is the music - it has a much more harder and "kick ass take names" sort of feel to it. I love Mass Effect music as much as the next BW fanatic but I wouldn't mind a mission or two with this sort of musical genre to it - especially given the increasingly monumental odds we've been facing ever since Eden Prime.

Questions, comments, snide remarks?

Definitely more customization, Id love more armors too.  More Exploration is also a decent idea.  But mostly Id be Happy knowing that there will still be plenty of upcoming mass effect (universe) games in the future.

Maybe some more exploration/customizing. Other than that, I think they're doing great.
