Elevators, they were creative and awesome, and I love getting some elevator music while I have a little pause, it's much more real, and it would be funny to do some incredibly gangster murder rampage then get in the elevator and hear the awkward music.
Loading screens suck, mission complete screens suck, and now that I think about it, pretty much any HUD/menu sucks, I want a dead space RIG health/shield bar!

Competitive multiplayer would also be nice if its good. I mean, as long as it doesn't hurt the quality of single player ( which I don't think it will since bioware has no set deadline to finish the game ) another game mode never hurt anybody. If you don't like it, then just don't play it.
(I posted this in another topic but I feal this is much more usefull)

Let’s see NPC’s leave there posts once in a while, hit up Mess Sergeant Gardner for a quick meal.
Every living being from my understanding needs to use the bathroom facilities from time to time. The Normandy has them, let the NPC’s use them for crying out loud.
Let’s see some of the Male NPC’s hit on Miranda then get shot down with a Biotic blast?
Let’s see some of the Female NPC’s hit on Jacob and well, ah you know.
Let’s see the Normandy NPC’s talk to each other and strike up conversations. Whether
they are talking about Mud Crabs or some blacksmith, who knows how to use a
sword. Just let them talk and give the game more atmosphere.

Also, disembark the ship through the actual airlock, not the galaxy map
No Multiplayer
NPC move about the ship, talk to others and use the facilities. The ship to live
Bring back old Citadel maybe expand it. But make it feel like center of civilization
Weapon customization. I liked adding polonium rounds and stuff
Allies wearing actual armor
Toggle Helmets, for Shep and Allies[quote]Tarahiro wrote...
The health / weapon / level up system from the first game. Don't get me wrong, I love ME2, but the level up system is boring. There's so little to choose, it was so much more detailed in the first game. The first game also had superiour weapons when it comes to equipping them. Being able to equip each squad member with different guns of differing strengths after selecting them from your inventory is better than just having a selection of a few things you've researched. I also preferred the health system in ME1. It felt more RPG-like, being able to restore your health when it got low, and being able to revive fallen squad members. All you can do in ME2 is hide until you feel better (reminds me too much of Call of Duty which tells me Mass Effect is straying from the RPG sections that make it awesome) and then revive fallen squad members.

Actual armor for squadmates, not spandex jumpsuits. Helmets, especially for zero-G enviroments, not half face masks
I'd like there ot be an option, between the heavy armor and helmets and stuff, and lighter armor, or "spandex jumpsuits" - both for Shepards and squadmates. It just doesn't look right, sometimes, depending on your chosen class, genre and overall apperance, IMO.
I miss that and only that about ME1. My Adept Femshep looked great in Gladiator Light Armor (Liara's default), as opposed to ME2's bulky amor types (on top of the butch trucker driver animation). Doesn't look right. Not much variety there, wouldn't hurt to have a Morinth-Asari-Commando-like type of armor available or something like that.
On another note: dunno if this would be possible, but: it would be really GREAT, to have your class have real weight in-game, same way your background sometimes is referenced to in dialogue or even have their specific missions. I see stuff like LotSB (which was no short of extraordinaire, best content ever), with Liara displaying some amazing biotics feats here and there, in cutscenes, and Samara also throughout the game, etc. Wouldn't it be great if you, playing an Adept for example, could do similar stuff, or as an engineer would use an omni-tool, or the soldier would use, well, a gun? That'd be fantastic, IMO. Shepard is generally only referred to generically as a Soldier, regardless of chosen class, and that never gets adressed, not even slightly, not even in dialogue. That kind of immersion or flavour, if you may, would come a long way, especially in replayability value, I imagine us wanting to see every outcome to every situation, using different classes!

My Wishlist for ME3:
Battle:
The Battle System in ME2 was better than in ME. More Balance, more
Realistic, but to easy. The enemies were all too easy. Stronger Enemies will be
good. The EXP-System should be back and not only in the end of a mission. Some improvements
like jumping from short cliff will be good, too. More possibilities by
commanding the squad (like ME). More skills, but they must be useful like in
ME2 (95% of all skills from ME I didn´t use, because they were useless in
battle).
The Overheat-System from ME was original. The terminal-clip-system
was like normal shooters. Maybe a mix of systems or better ideas.
Not too much RPG-Elements. Something between ME and ME2 will be
good.
Equipment:
Positive in ME: every chara could be equipped (and not only a new
armor which only have a new color); more possibilities by the Upgrade of
Weapons; realistic armor of the squad in times of battle
Positive in ME2: not too much trash in the inventory; armor could be
upgraded in separate parts
Negative in both: too monotone weapons (I used only the SMG and the
sniper (maybe the big gun, too) the rest I didn´t need); too less possibilities
in individual clothes (no-battle clothes)
In ME3 the positive should come back and the negative should go to trash
or it should be upgraded. New ideas are welcome.
Vehicles:
The Hammerhead is wonderful. Fast, dynamic and mobile. The evidence
that Bioware listens to us fans. The Return of the Hammerhead will be a good
thing.Now I have some ideas:
1)
Tuning of the Normandy in place of Normandy SR-3. Better than in ME2 (more possibilities),
upgrades should be visual, and using of this upgraded Normandy. Same for the vehicles (maybe not
so much like the Normandy)
2)
Exploring of the planets like in ME, but original worlds like in ME2 (when possible). Maybe more possible
vehicles (Hammerhead, Shuttle, upgraded Mako, etc.) for original missions on these planets.
(like on one planet using the shuttle is better than the other vehicles, because it can really fly or so, and the other planet the hammerhead is better and so on)
Squad:
Most of the old charas should come back, only a few new charas. Better
AI in battles. The Squad interact when away on the mission (maybe comments of
you driving skills or comments of the situation you are in or they discuss
something, for example) Interactions in dialog (you are a three-men-squad, why
only Shepard talk then)
Crew:
In one sentence: A more dynamic crew. The ship is big then why they
always sit or stand in the same position. Why they don´t talk with each over.
The Squad, too. When a squad member has a problem and they need your help (like
in ME2), why you must go to them, ask them, if they have a problem or not, and
not they come to you and ask you to help them. I felt like an idiot, when I
had to do something like this.
I don´t say Shepard shouldn´t go to his squad or crew-member and ask
them things, but not always. Make it more dynamic and not so static like in
ME/ME2.
LOVE: (beats everything)
Allow the player to make love and not only sex. Shepard isn´t a
playboy like Kirk. He has emotions and when Shepard loves a squad-member it
shouldn´t end in a one-night-stand, but in a real romance (when you from
Bioware don´t have an idea, what real romance is, read love books, there exists
many of them). And allow players to continue the Romance from the past games.
That I couldn´t continue it from ME to ME2 was one of the worst things of ME2
for me.
And maybe connect the romance with the main story. (This will be brilliant, but it isn´t necessary)
Mimics:
Shepard can make a sinister look very good, but that the smiles
looks like a sinister look, too, is not good idea. I don´t know, why Bioware
has problems to make a smiling Shepard. Jacob can smile, too. Or Mordin. Why Shepard can´t?
Space Battles:
All good Sci-Fi-Scenarios have space battles. ME and ME2, too. But
it was disillusioned that in both parts you couldn´t fight the battles yourself.
Please give us at least one space battle, where you control the Normandy in ME3. Maybe
for the final. Make it possible Bioware.
Trilogy:
I want to have the feeling, that this was a trilogy. I didn´t have
it after ME and ME2. My feeling is that these are three stand-alone Games with
the same background. I hope ME3 can make it better. (This idea with over 1000
variables is good, but it must be good done and that is difficult, but I trust Bioware
that they can make it)
Main Story:
The Connection between the Main Story and the world was made well in
ME, but in ME2 not. I had the feeling that the main story of ME2 was an
extra-long side quest and not the main story of the game. This game
concentrated too much on the recruiting of the squad (maybe with ulterior motive) and too less on the main story. But the quality of the recruiting stories was first-class and I except no less quality in ME3.
And I want to have the sequel of the feeling in this game: In ME I had
the feeling that this was the beginning of a great epic, in ME2 the feeling
wasn´t so good (it should be the feeling that the epic continues and make it profound, but, because of
the thing I said earlier, it wasn´t so good made) and that´s why I want to have
the feeling in ME3, that this is the final, the epic end of a epic game. (And
don´t look on the money, but look that you created a story, that must have such
an end and the feeling with it)
Dialogs:
I love the dialogs of both games. They are the only dialogs, which I
want to hear a second or third time and it isn´t boring. Continue with it. But
2 little corrections:
1)
Place the paragon or renegade answer not in same place every time. Make the place random.
I want to create a dialog of the answers I want to say and not the answers I choose because I want
to get the points or because I want to be a paragon hero or something like that.
2)
Shepard should say the answers I choose or at least the same topic, and not something like this:
I choose “yes” as an answer and Sheppard says something long, but in the end the meaning of
this answer is “no” ( this is a extreme example, but you get the idea)
At last I want to say, that the paragon/renegade actions in the dialog were good (ME2) and I want
have more of it and maybe the squad can do something like this, too.
Bigger Worlds:
Big, Bigger, Mass Effect 3! The Universe of ME and ME2 is big, but the worlds you explore are not
or like in ME always the same. The citadel for example is such a big station,
where one ward is so big like New York City (today one of the biggest cities of
the world and I think in ME, too) and it exists 5 of them, but you don´t see
that this is such a big station. Bioware shouldn´t make one big citadel, where
the whole game plays, but I want to feel that this is a BIG station (In both
games I hadn´t this feeling). Other worlds, too. They are too little. (When Bioware choose
to make only (in ME2) 4 worlds, where you can go without battle, too (Citadel,
Omega, Illium, Tuchanka) then they should be bigger).
A longer playtime is a good idea, too, but not, because of mini-games or to less concentrating on
the story like in gothic 3.
Non-linear quests-worlds are nearly luxury, but more original quest-missions not (this is an action-RPG
and not a shooter; we aren´t in a MMORPG).
BIG BOSS:
Make the final battle memorable. Make it challengeable. Make it that I want to win this
battle, because of the story and not because this is a game, which I want to
win. (In ME the first and third of this points were good done, the second not;
In ME2 all this points were bad done).
MINI-Games:
All mini-games become boring at some point, but the planetary scanning of ME2 was the first mini-game
I know, that don´t become boring only, but it made me angry on the whole game. That is not good.
Thank God I didn´t need all minerals of the game to upgrade my ship.
Don´t make something like that in ME3!!!
The Scanning for minerals can be made interesting and challengeable. Bioware can make such a mini-game. They have potential and now they must use it.
Resources:
Only One thing: A Buy/Sell-possibility for resources.
Reactions:
I am not arrogant, but when I find a long lost ship or rescue a colony or kill almost all
mercenary-groups of omega or rescue the galaxy two times, I want to have
reactions of the people of this galaxy to something like this. The
News-programs are a good, but not original, idea, but it can be more, much
more.
The End:
I said earlier that I want to have an epic final battle and I know that in an epic final battle,
people die (No epic end without victims), but I know myself and that´s why I know
I will be angry, when my favorite chara dies. Victims must be made, but
Bioware, let us, the players, choose who. Give us the responsibility. Something
like the wrong chara dies in the end can make the difference between a great
game and the worst of all games I know.
That´s it for now.

I liked in one monitoring mine and my teams health and pressing Y to use meta gel I liked being able to use the meta gel in combat scenarios but I’d like to start off with 3 then upgrade it to more.
I will finally weigh in on multiplayer….NO maybe for future ME franchises but not here and also sense BW plans to do a FPS branch off its now free license to bring back and add in more RPGness to the world and story of ME3.
If NPCs use the bathroom and you walk in on them have them yell at you to leave! That’s be funny.
Speaking of npcs hitting on people how about in clubs general npcs and strippers hit on Shep he/she would always refuse them unless BW wants to make it an option to accept but even if a girl says to Mshep, “ How about coming back to my place Commander?” he can always say a pre recorded decline, “ Sorry, I’ve got someone already.” same for Fshep I liked these scenarios in Red Dead Redemption the main character always said 3 -4 lines of no, not interested, I’m married, ect made it more real also general npcs would say hi every so often and he’d respond it really helped add to the immersion.
Could a few fashion armors like Liara’s in SB ship be used? I liked her armor for that maybe some tastefully non-swimsuit fashion designs to buy in special stores or to be given to you only by LI or faithful friends on ship. Toggle helmets and the ability to change colors of course!
I agree with the comment on ME2’s combat was too easy there was very little difference between boss battles in 2’s main story and average cannon fodder. In SB Spector Girl was a good starting challenger and the SB himself can we up it a bit? Also I like the prior suggesting of some animals, and enemies on curtain areas maybe too hard like only level 30 and over would do well on world 83 sense the enemies there are at that range but say planet 14 has enemies level 10 and up.
Now that its rebrought up yes allow import LI’s from 2 to continue in 1 even if they’re redirected into npcs like I can image Jack becoming a cameo npc but if you romanced her shouldn’t she still feel for you? Let those who romanced her not only have unique dialogue but continued correspondence with her and a few abilities/chances to actually have romance with her. Same for those staying on ship like Tali continued dialogue and a few opportunities for you and her to hint at you want a night together, plan it in her case, and go do it. Don’t give the character’s amnesia for 3!

1. Story, it must be good.
2. Happy romantic ending with whatever LI you happen to have.
3. If Tali is your LI, you get to see her face.
If that happens, I will be more than satisfied.

Realistic Melee
I mean most real soldiers carry knifes and there dam good with them. As a soldier I should be able to charge and jam a knife in there face, as an Infiltrator I should be able to get behind somebody and assassinate them with out alerting there team mates.
Different styles of game play for each class.
What I mean is that the hole game of ME1 and ME2 no matter what class you were was duck and cover shoot, duck and cover. As an Adept I should be able to walk threw a mass of enemies with my barriers up and blow them all away with biotics and gun fire without having to duck and hide every ten seconds. An Infiltrator should be able to get around most anything and do alot of sneak kills.
More dialog with companions.
I love chatting it up with them, and dont make Shepard seem like this overly horny sex addict either, cause thats how it felt in ME2 it was always just hitting on people never anything else.
Choose one person to sleep with.
I think you should be forced to pick who your sexual companion should be, including Liara and Ashley/Kaiden. Then do what you did in Dragon age and be able to go back to that one person and sleep with them again, (because that's how you get super video game aids)
I like the Armor of ME2 but the diversity of ME1, and the same goes for weapons. I think there should be better customizable weapons, like the ammo powers shouldn't be a power it should be a weapon upgrade.
Dont bring back the Maco, keep the Firewalker just make it able to take a hit. Dont reveal Tali unless your gonna reveal all of the Quarians, and Tali better be drop dead gorgeous if you do. and take the planet scanning out, that was dumb and put in better exploration of planets not so linier. How about traveling to earth for once, pretty sure there's something happening there that only Shepard can fix. Id say just try to be more realistic with something, dont cross that line of cleshay star trek wannabes.

2. unlimited ammo!
3. Armor, just bring back the system from ME1. Armor should not be there for looks alone, It should function. And be worth something.
4. bring the Mako back, the hammerhead is a piece of #$@&.
5. loot. ME1 did it right, there may have been a little to much but ME2 went way to far the other way.
6. No stupid squad mates like Jack, Someone like her looks out for herself and no one else. Sheppard would never trust her.
7. No stupid story plots. Sheppard dies, and then two years latter is brought back? How stupid does Bioware think we are?
8. No load screens
9. The level up system from ME1. Because ME2's sysem sucked
10. No breath masks.
11. The council believes you.
12. No rock, paper, scissors, By the time you get to the enemys health you might as well just continue shooting them.
13. No collecting resource's
14. When you upgrade a weapon or armor you should be able to tell you did so. And no finding it, paying for it, and having to use resource's to make it.
15. When I take advantage of the environment during combat I shouldn't get renegade points.
16. There had better be a smart, believable reason for the human smoothie being used to create a reaper!

Romancing is one of the keys what makes DA:O and ME 1/2 so special compaired to other RPGs. And as often mentioned before to a real romance there has to be a bit more than a one night stand. The love scene in the shadowbroker with Liara was nearly perfect, I really want to continiue that.
Besides this I want more tactics in the fights, you could do every fight without brains in ME2. In the end of ME2 for me the action was only secondary to push the story forward.
The other stuff was mentioned to often so I think I don´t have to reapeat it (Planetary scans, always the same mini game,...)

Or if you do feel the need to kill off characters, make it optional. If someone my Shep cares about is going to die, i'd like a chance to save them.
The ending can be dramatic. It can be a full-out war of awesome with big guns and whatever but just please a nice ending
Oh and it would also be nice to keep the ME2 free roam after the story ends if possible (since we don't know what direction the story is going in.) because that lessens the need to do all the side quests before finishing the story. Some people like to save them for the free roam. It would also be nice to pull a Dragon Age with the love interests. What I mean by that, is on DA once you've romanced them you can pretty much pop to their tent whenever you want. It would bring a bit more feeling to Mass Effect. It's all well and good for your love interest to 'get some of Shep' before they go on [insert random mission of doom here] but what about afterwards? If you're still kicking about, you should be able to go back for more
