I'd quite like Games for Windows Live support. It would be fun to chat with my Xbox ME fan friends as we both play the game. I'm guessing that won't happen though.
better control of microsoft's DLC webpage aka don't let some jackass leak all the DLC days before the official launch so that everyone who paid for the collector's edition and other promos dont get jipped by pirates. and before this turns into a console vs pc flame war that "free" dlc was only "available" to xbox users
After playing ME2 yesterday I just have to say again how much I want those damned Mission Complete screens gone. I hate them with a passion. I don't know who's bright idea those were in the first place?!
I also wouldn't mind more and better context sensitive actions than just jumping over very small walls and climbing up small ledges.
Oh and also more interaction between you and squadmates not only on ship but in the actual hub worlds and battlefields as well. Kind of similar to Dragon Age.
Please, pretty please make the chainmail bikini style 'armor' of ME2 go away, faaar away. Enemies usually aren't the problem in this regard but the squad members...
In ME it was great.. Squad members used battledress/armor in missions (though it might be nice idea to force player to go unarmored and unshielded and carrying only sidearm in citadel or other civilized place) and casual uniform when aboard ship.
In ME2 not so much. Squad members having armor had it permanently glued on them and those without went in their jumpsuits/fancy dresses/tattoos into heavy combat... Which looks utterly stupid. I half expected first shot from the the first mech to kill Jacob when i first played the game.
And same gripe goes with helmets/headdresses/visors/things... Would it really be too much to ask to make the game forcibly remove those when discussing with NPCs? And this includes the DLC armors. Given how much interaction there is in the game forcing PC to stick his/her head inside a bubble is just ridiculous. Which is one of the main reasons why i (and several others) avoid using Cerberus armors and other such at all. With permanently attached helmets those look absolutely silly.
for 360 you can join xbox live free or to get special offers pay for gold membership then you still have to give xbox $10 - $25 to get points to beable to buy DLC content regardless of weather you're gold or silver (free) member what he's talking about when he says free DLC he means regardless of your membership status the DLC cost you zero to buy occasionally a free DLC comes up mainly demos are free but the few DLC content add ons out there are glitch and are maybe 5 minets or speak to two characters then you have to pay to unlock whatever mission the character is talking about with the amount of money you pay for the game at the store the content they removed then put on xbox live as add ons should be free as a way of the company understanding you paid for the game in the end you can pay well over $100 total after you buy the game at $60 + $ for add ons and you don't get cool ingame packaged items like collector additions do who out of pocket pay the $100 at the store for the privilege.
going back on track w/ wishlist:
I agree no 3D or no kenetic thing
I do agree ME3 must be darker they missed moments in 2 where they could've gone that way Mornith, some husk mines, ect

- More variety of lighting conditions, environmental effects, etc. A few more nighttime missions would be nice, preferably some where light/dark can actually come into play. Having a few more novel environmental hazards in addition to random exploding barrels lying around would be nice (the SB base ship is a nice example)
- Some more comprehensive armor/hazard gear for the squadmates would be nice. I actually don't like the ME1 model of equipment shopping, but I do also find it awkward how in ME2 more half of your crew can brave bullets / open space / toxic atmospheres wearing just plain clothes and hardware store dust masks. I'm all for fashionable squadmates, but let Miranda, jack, samara, mordin, etc. at least have basic helmets and/or ballistic vests.
- I like ME2's modular armor. Maybe keep expanding on that?

Crouch Button back!
Bioware are u listening? lol
well at least it played a decent little song when you beat a mission
1: Less mindless corridor shooting, more intrigue and tough decisions. I really liked Katsumi's mission where in the beginning you had to attend a party and play nice to that Donovan Hock guy. It was much more fun than the second half, which was mostly just shooting up millions of Eclipse Mercs through narrow corridors.
2: Improve the combat. I won't lie, ME2 had better combat than ME1; but I still found 90% of action sequences mindnumbing. Make combat less linear, give it more variety and present it in a way that is logical. I hated it when companion quests simply HAD to have you spend at least one sequence shooting up mercs for some arbitrary reason (Why would the Eclipse send an army just to find Orianna, for instance).
3: Epic-ness. Make it feel epic. ME1 felt epic, ME2 not so much, I barely even thought about the suicide mission or the collectors for the great majority of them game. In ME1 I was constantly thinking about Saren, the Geth and the Reapers. Make ME3 feel so epic that we need to find a new word for it.
4: Visit Earth. Very important, seeing my homeworld so far in the future would be very fun. Also if we had to defend it, it would add emotional value.
5: Make the squad shepard has 3 instead of 2. And make it so that the rest of the Normandy's crew is doing something useful too. It broke immersion having 2 people out of an entire ship coming with you at a time (while everyone else presumably had a nap in their normandy bunk beds)
6: Somewhat related to # 5; make it so that you sometimes have allies that help fight but aren't in your squad. DAO did this very well; it helped make the battles feel more realistic (seeing as nobody-no matter how strong- can face off a hundred mercenaries with 3 people while not having any casualties.
7:Make the chioces from previous games matter- nuff said.
8:There was an idea a while back for Ship battles where you didn't fight but instead barked orders from the bridge and depending on what you did- certain outcomes would be attained. I think it would be kinda cool, as a ship fighting mechanic that would actually retain it's fun would be very hard.
9: If squadmates survive the suicide mission, they should stay unless there is an already good reason for their departure (ie: Keplar syndrome for Thane)
10: Aria T'Loak as a squadmate,
11: Having to chose which factions support you would also be nice (Since quite a few people didn't seem to like how ME2 FORCED you to work with Cerberus)
I was reading the post above and thought of something to add what if depending on your military alignment as well as your para ren attitude some faction may not work with you for instance I don't think Eclipse will forgive so easily our continuous break up of their operation but if your ren they'll be more likely to work with you then para players thinks like that.
Defending earth would be neat but could we have some how 3 outcomes 1 earth is saved 2 its destroyed or 3 you do things well but a large portion of the world is destroyed maybe nuclear winter would result from such a bombardment. Maybe put time limit thats invisible and if you're doing good sound defense choices but are slow # 3 happens but if you do good sound decisions and are fast #1 happens.
Aria is cool I hope they give her more depth in 3 but even if say she looses a turf war with the Patriarch I don't see her being a team player for Shep she's too much about her to do that it just doesn't fit with her character.
Kasumi's mission was more fun in the beginning and dull and repetitive with the OK coral scenario in the second also how can I blow people up in the first half yet the very low piano music muffs it? I'd like another mission where you need to go undercover but can we have no weapons and no shootouts?
If you're going to touch on dark subjects in 3 can you plow into them please you missed a golden opportunity with Mornith's mission its not everyday you get to deal with that type of killer dealing with her was way too short she could've put you into a twisted version of your past similar to how the sleep demon in DA messed with you but more mental horror then shootups and gore.
I liked another post idea with making a mental horror aspect of darkness coming into play I assume he could be referring to Alan Wake and the Poltergeist items in it.
Free roaming in ports, ground, side quest, and main missions
The bartender at Eternity in SB vids is interesting can she get more of a character development in 3 maybe make her a potential npc one night option?
Haven't talked about hair for a while can we have not only long hair but some with bangs both long and medium styles? What about color can more colors be added or the option to tweak a custom color? There are bun styles already I hate them all but what about a french braid and I'm not talking starwars style just a simple pull back will do thats long.
More eyes tones and a better way to see them most of the time I can't see the blue or browns and have to wait till in game to see what I picked can you zoom in on the eyes so its really easy to see the color and can TIM style glow ones be issued in all color options?
I’d like more then 1 hazardous environment in ME1 we had several of course they where mostly clear and sunny earth like worlds but can we have various some sunny, others rain covered, and some near zero visibility? Also while I’m on the subject I still support changing day, evening, night cycles and weather conditions for a few worlds.
Could we get a Rachni crewmate or the ability to summon one with Dpad into the fight at will? I mentioned this before but its buried in the boards now so basically as we get major homeworlds on board in addition to unique weapons and armor they give us the ability to summon commando squads at will via the Dpad or by clicking R2 or L2 shoulder buttons.
We can assign a homeworld team to call in and change them as we see fit. We can call them to the battle field and a dropship, shuttle, or other type of vehicle where applicable would come in off load these people and they’d be npcs fighting till they die maybe a squad of 4 the player does not tell them what to do they shoot until killed or the enemy is killed. If the enemy is killed and they’re still alive they will auto fallow you until a new encounter and they die once dead a cool down period will occur making this unit unavailable for x amount of time. You’d get Rachni, Asari commando, STG, Alliance or Corsairs, Krogan, Drell or Hanar, Mechs (from Volus), Migrant Military. It all depends if you win these homeworlds over weather or not you get the units for instance if player fails to sway Asari to the cause they not only go black at some point in game but no Commando unit will be available for call in. Also I put in the Ors because I think the player if winning over these homeworlds should be able to pick between these two groups each OR group would have different tactical advantages and weapons they can wield for instance Alliance has assultrifles and high resistance to fire but Corsairs have the ability to use explosives and sabotage the enemy and are very fast.
Also can traps be used in some areas? Like trip wire, pressure bombs that sort of thing would make it more challenging.

I would also like to see more loyalty missions or character specific missions than the 1 single loyalty mission they currently get.
For example: Tali could have multiple missions that take place on different planets. The final one taking place on her homeworld. The overall objective woul be to help her and the Migrant Fleet reclaim their homeworld(or not). You would have to do a few missions(to gather info, equipment, resources, etc) for her prior to the one final big loyalty mission that has you joining the MF to reclaim their planet from the Geth. Each mission you do for her gives you a bit of combat loyalty. The final mission gives you the full bar. It should also be optional to either do the smaller loyalty missions first or just go for the final big one. Depending on what you do it could be easier or a lot harder to complete. Also (and here is the big thing right here), depending on what you do in Legion's loyalty mission in ME2 (Destroy all the heretic Geth or Reprogram them) it will also increase or decrease the mission difficulty dramatically as well as change the stroy somewhat.
Modifié par Dazaster Dellus, 06 décembre 2010 - 04:25 .
Another great multi tiered loyalty mission would be for Miranda.
For example: You might have multiple different missions to help her. Or you could have a series of missions that lead up to a big dramatic ending. Let's say......A loyalty mission that has you going up against her powerful father. The mission final objective would be to get a cure for her infertility from her father's geneticist's/scientist's and their lab and to stop her father from hunting her down. Or it could be to find research for a cure to her problem in which you could then give the research to Mordin and have him complete the cure as like a joint loyalty mission or a team cohesion mission, Which now leads me to.......
Modifié par Dazaster Dellus, 06 décembre 2010 - 04:36 .
I wouldn't mind seeing team cohesion missions. It's no secret that some of the crew members don't like each other. So in order to get the ones that don't like each other to....like each other, you have missions that they could go on together and get them to become closer to each other. Or you could have moments where you bring them together to have a talk and to hash things out. Or if they really hate each other you can have them spar with each other to get it out of their system.
More team speeches and conferences as well. You could call team/ship briefings, meetings or get togethers to build team cohesion as well as some loyalty or special perks.
I posted this in my other thread but, I want to go on night missions too. Maybe some infiltration missions where you and your team avoid detection and infiltrate a building or a complex. Failing to do so engages you into a battle.
Oh Stealth kills would be badass too!
That is one thing I don't like too much is that you cannot sneak up on almost everyone in the game. They automatically know you are there when you get close.
2. I would like to keep my weapons and armors in ME 3, especially my beloved "Revenant" Machine Gun! It rocks!
3. Free DLC for all!
4. Kick some Cerberus's ass after Paragon Ending!
5. Miranda, Jacob, Garrus and Legion as a squad members and Normandy SR2 with Joker and EDI of course!
6. Don't kill Shepard again or destroy Nomandy SR2 - i love this ship!
7. More powerfull Soldier class - the best class in ME 2.
8. Kick some Reaper's ass!
9. Better romance scenes. Continuation of previous romances!
10. More armour parts for N7 armor and more weapons, including Elite Guns like "Revenant" or "Widow"!
11. Shepard's story final chapter i presume? Just don't kill him pls! Kill Tali and all other Quarians! Mwahahaha.
12. Geth shall have their revenge on Quarians!
NO. This entire post is a ray of sunshiny retardedness. ME is an RPG first, period.
We need a bigger ship with more room to allow for additional and returning crew members.
You want to make what you call the best class even better? Have you no sense of balance? Soldier is not the best class anyway, and I've become convinced that most who say that it is are simply FPS players who are incapable of learning something new. Nothing against FPS players - just the dumb ones.
Tali and Quarians...you'd best be trollin'.

Well, here I go on my little tirade so please bear with me...
Weapons should be customizable in the same way armor is customized. I mean appearence, such as color, patterns on them, decals and so on, also they should have accessory rails for mounting addons like scopes, lasers and so on (modern day equivalent would be the picatinny rail or the NATO accessory rail, look it up on Wikipedia), these accessories grant small bonuses to accuracy/damage/whatever or add additional functions, for example: adding reflex sights on a assault rifle will grant a small bonus to accuracy, but a scope won't increase accuracy, instead it will add a zoom option like on a sniper rifle (but there are several scopes to choose from that have different level of magnification). Also, the player should have the ability to change accessories at any point in the game (that would probably require an inventory screen or something similar), but I prefer the ME2 system of changing weapons and armor only at special lockers. For the sake of simplicity and to avoid tedious micromanagment all accessories will be available immediatly and squad members will have their own presets on all weapons that cannot be changed, also they won't gain any bonuses from accessories (again for the sake of simplicity and balance, modern assault rifles allow for grenade launchers and underbarrel shotguns to be mounted, while it would be entertaining to see, your squadmates running around with grenade launchers and infinite ammunition would break the difficulty).
While I'm discussing weapons I'll also add this little criticism: old weapon models that were imported from ME1 and the new elite weapons (Revenant, Widow, Claymore) look a little simplistic, just geometric shapes that are glued together to resemble weapons, they still look good, but DLC weapons are much better designed and have intricate details that make them stand out more (and now that I mentioned DLC I'll just add that there shouldn't be any, or that it should be free).
Another thing that bugs me is this: Shepard is supposed to be this genetically modified cyborg badass supersoldier, but there is no in-depth melee combat system, just that elbow slam that only stuns oponents for a moment and deals a little damage. I want to be able to beat the **** out of people the same way Thane does, and not in cutscenes, but in normal gameplay.
Also: mass effect fields and artificial gravity are way underused. Do you realize the potential? Do you realize the fun you could have with a little experimentation? For example: a fight on a space station, mass effect field generetors get damaged/hacked or something, artificial gravity goes haywire and suddenly you can walk on walls, your opponents can walk on walls, or even on the ceiling... You know what? Watch this (the fun part is between 3:00 - 6:40):
And that is a 2002 game (there are similar sequences in Dead Space but they aren't as epic). I would have loved to see sequneces like that in ME2, but now I have to hope for ME3.
And finally, this: A combat simulator where you can just walk in and test out different weapons/powers/accessories.
There, now all that's left is to hope anyone from the Bioware devteam bothered to read this wall of text.
EDIT: minor rewording
