My wishlist for ME3

More all-team critical missions like suicide mission. It´s very exciting to coordinate all your crew in a global attack.

Random Space battles. You never feel safe! The reapers are invading the galaxy and a encounter must be posible in any moment,it reminds me of the 33 minute cylon attacks on BS Galactica. You are constantly under preasure about your moves in the galaxy!

The collectors attack after reaper module it´s very exciting it must be cool more of this situations on the false calm before the storm.Could be a several type of crisis attacks, emergency landings (interactive landing with joker suffering XD) Pursuit or space combat etc!

Bring all the crew of me1 and me2 back.I only have a demand of a new batarian squadie!

Make visible the stats of weapons armors etc,as an option,it´s a mess that you read this heapon enhances 25% of your power this other reduces -20%.. % of what???? The internal stats must be visible as an option,if you don´t want to see it disable it by default but make it visible for the rpg fans.

Enhance the improvements of normandy and convert in some type of mini-missions mini games. It´s cool to take the normandy to a tech especialist to implement some in a hangar.Going into the space to seal some hole in the ship etc.

Underwater vehicle and a mission in hanar planet!

Some type of sport-combat arena.Like a boxing or K1 fight stage, some mission involved! Shepard recluits the champion, shepard fighting like tyson against the undisputed champion.Bet system like the lair of shadow broker enterprises or the varren mini-game!

More speech of your squadies in the fights! It´s very anoying to hear only i´m krogan blao blao

Joking or making especific reactions into the fights could the team feeling more intense!

Make the dialogs of the squadies on especific locations free of picking like in mass effect 1,it seems more natural that the squadie talks about some place without asking and pointing to him.

The crew of normandy must be more active,i don´t want all the game the chef of normandy staying stand up and nothing to do.Across the game the crew must do typical funtions,in some times going to bathroom or to the shower, staying reading some book, cheating etc

Isolate shepard and normandy against the reapers, cerberus betrayal, council incompetence, alliance mistrust! The galaxy must be in total chaos! We must feel that it´s a desesperate situation and very hard! Elevate to a fact that only leadership of shepard and this crew could save the galaxy.Every step could be a failure and they are desesperate to stop the armageddon!

Normandy ingeniers as plot chars, the final mission requires some kind of final weapon or tech made from the designers!

More explicit and sofisticate romances!

The mako and hammerhead don´t suck! The implementation of the vehicles it´s the key!

Mako and hammerhead seems very simple and always the same, bring it back vehicles but in a better and more dinamic way! My election could be air suttle (like lair of shadow broken but across the planets surface) and underwater vehicle, must be easy to coding because the collision system.

the speech wheel thing should be mixed up. i dont want the paragon sayings always on the top and the renagade sayings always on the bottom and the neutral sayings always in the middle. if they mixed it up then wed have to think more during talking parts. its too easy to get all paragon or all renagade, i would just keep saying the top option or always the bottom.

and omg i dont want to hear the saying "like old times shepard" like at least 3 people said that on me2.

an automatic fish feeder would be great.

one thing that's almost never done is a dual wield system, come on! i mean, really??? who would go against 30 vorcha in a small space, with ammo for the pistol only cuz you've already run out of everything else, and only use ONE pistol with 18 rounds total???? really???? this happened to me multiple times, and not only with vorcha... collectors dont die when u hit them with your fists, you die for being stupid enough to close the gap. im pretty sure god is the only "being" that could survive those odds. and he'd still have a pretty hard time!!!

my biggest wish for ME 3 is that your squad mates actually act intelligently and don't randomly decide to charge 5 enemies in cover and eat rockets/lasers to the face.

also make the talent tree's for the classes more choice based and not a "lets let them max out almost everything". bring it back a little more toward teh rpg side here

as far as armor/weapon custimization goes, make it so that you "learn" the ME1-esque upgrade and can manufacture it/upgrade it instead of looting it and having to sort through the inventory of like 300 different upgrades. was always omni-geling half my inventory (money wasn't really a problem for me in ME1) since that half was always uselss lower ranked upgrades. keep the recoloring ability though, thats nice.

as far as the normandy goes and "fights" in space. people need to remember this thing isnt a fighter jet (or X-Wing for that matter) and can't really "dogfight". its a corvette (iirc) and the Normandy 2 is a big one. it better for surgical strikes against a larger target (think highly accurate hit and fade). it isn't meant for "bobbing and weaving" vs another craft. while maybe some sequences where you get to control the normandy would be cool if done correctly (like stated above using the stealth systems to get in close then preform a hit and fade to set up a larger assualt from Alliance/Tuarian/Asari (maybe even Migrant Fleet vessels) would be cool. maybe as the setup for a distraction so you can insert on a planet or something.

I'd love to see two things:

As nerdy as this is, it's already an M game, no need to limit the romantic **** to just some groping and horrible graphic kissing. Mass Effect 1 got some nerds a little horny with the ass glimpse, but come on Bioware, you can do so much better.  Also, you shouldn't be limited to one partner, if Shepard wants to be a player, by god, he should be able to.

And I would also like to see a better flow of movie sequences. In ME2 (not sure about ME1) I felt like all scenes that were supposed to be intense were choppy. In the final scene, scenes keep fading to go to other scenes. Make it like a movie. One long composed soundtrack that builds up to the final scene, and no short pauses in between the scene sequencing.

- Mass Effect's biggest fan.

as a reminder: skippable EA and Bioware Logos at startup!!!

And: as a huge fan of the Alien series I appreciated ME1 a lot, since I was reminded of Alien a lot during the racchni storyline. Also the movement of enemies was superior to ME2 in some cases, like the geth guys that jumped on the walls and made the battle more three dimensional. Also the racchni just popped up in rooms by using the ventilation shafts.

To sum it up: Like in Aliens and ME1 there should be some enemies with varied movement, like running on walls, running through shafts (I don't know if it's possible but maybe even the option to shoot through thinner walls / into shafts ; ) ) and they should pop up more often from below or above.

The first huge battle in LotSB pointed in the right direction, so just stick to that.

Dear Bioware,

Mass Effect 2 was amazing, beautiful an overall awesome experience. I loved most of the changes even the combat that many complained. To me it was fluid and did not require you to pause the action every 10 seconds, certainly a step up from ME1, after all the game is based on shooting and the RPG stuff in combat is still there. I think the balance you achieved is very good. I might even go and say that I liked the scanning game a bit (dont kill me! :P), ofc I played the PS3 version that was improved in that area so I didnt found it as time consuming as it may have been in the beggining. Thats how much I loved it.

Yet the are still things that need to be improved and I mainly need one particular area that I think a lot of people will agree. And that has to do with the exploration in game.

Bioware you have created an amazing, coherent universe! It is unbelievable how much work and love has been put into creating this world. Which makes it even more sad that most of this is experienced by the player through text and glimpses of the planets themselves.

If there is one reason why Space fascinates humans, is because of the unknown, because we want to explore it to experience it.

I find myself dreaming about the Hanar World, I find myself looking at the awesome skyline of Illium and thinking that this huge city deserves more exploration than just 5 corridors and 6 rooms!

Mass Effect 2 had an awesome variety of environments. But most of the times these are battle fields. Which is nice, dont missunderstand me, but it doesnt have to be always a battlefield. We need bigger towns and more towns!

When I read in the codex about Jupiter and its Colonny, I imagine myself visiting the place, marveling jupiter up close and personnal. I am not naive. I know that you cannot possibly model every city and every colonny out there in the massive universe you created. I know we cant have a city like in a GTA game. And I dont want something like that to be honest. But it wouldnt hurt if we could have 10 cities in Mass Effect 3 that are at least double the size of those in Mass Effect 2.

Mass Effect 3 is the grand finale. It deserves to be the best of the series. You need to let us explore this amazing Universe more. We need bigger towns, more interactivity with the NPCs, dont put everything just in codex. We want to explore the universe both in the battlefield (whioch was already amazing in Mass Effect 2 with huge variety) but also in its towns.

If there was one thing I would love to see improved in Mass Effect 3 it is this. I know it requires a lot of extra work, but this universe deserves it. The satisfaction a player gets when he is exploring the vast unknown is amazing and makes the game feel like it is alive, like all this actually exists somewhere.

Hope that Mass Effect 3 will complete the journey in the most amazing way possible. :)

I've already posted some ideas waaaaay back but im too lazy to check the responses from that. Soooooo I'll just post what I got cookin now. :3

As for the heavy weapon choices, heavy weapon choices should be different on each class and ofcourse all manually held heavy weapons are available. And while at it why not bring back biotic amps and tech amps from ME1 via "heavy weapon ammo"? I'll do it in a list so it wont be confusing to read and type. :D

Soldier: All rocket propelled, nuke powered, grenade launched, heavy weapons are available to this class. Technically all from ME2.

Vanguard: a few selections from the original heavy weapon set but limited only to the grenade and rocket launcher type weapons. But for ME3, there would be an biotic exclusive "biotic amp-esque heavy weapon" maybe it could have a few charges (no cooldown because the power used here is the HW ammo pickups) that would provide a 3-5 chain ultra biotic warp-charge.

Infiltrator:  a few selections from the original heavy weapon set but limited only to the grenade and rocket launcher type weapons. But for ME3, there would be a tech exclusive tech amp. High crit buff via tech amp but it would gradually drain the HW charges via timer for the buff.

Adept: Biotic amp only but a wider selection of amps, maybe area warp or a singularity that could even pull armored enemies.

Engineer: Tech amp only, same as adept but with.. maybe drone swarm summon? or area overload?

Sentinel: tech and biotic amp mix, an attack that damages all armor, shield, barrier. (sorry, not a sentinel fan)

I guess I just want to further differentiate the classes, It just felt weird that an adept, which whom bioware named the class that "controlled the battlefield with no shot fired", had to lug around a nuke launcher at his/her back. :\\

Any friendly comments and suggestions are welcome. GO INTERNET GO! :P

1. The ME2 skill system has to be thrown away because it was crap. There was no difference between 90% of lvl 1 to lvl 3 powers, it's also too damn superficial. I'm not talking about bringing back weapon skills at all, but there should be difference between lvl 1 Charge and lvl 3 and there is none, it's better to just save the 9 points and jump to lvl 4 where it makes a difference.
Bring back Charm/Intimidate because the Paragon/Renegade dependent conversation choices was ridiculous, why can't I try and intimidate someone if I'm trying to play as a Paragon? Who says a Renegade might not find charming the info they want from the person their talking to. Renegade and Paragon should not be so mutually exclusive so as to punish people for preferring one method over the other if they want to use that because its appropriate for their Shep.

2. Bring back upgrades (but not the level 1 -10) If I want a weapon fro my Vanguard that does more damage but uses clips faster or can use Inferno rounds I don't see why not? It would allow me to customize the weapons for my teammates and the fights. Also, put the weapon damage stats INGAME, not force me to goto the Codex to find it.

3. Give me some exploration, not empty planets, but Overlord was a step in the right direction. Along with that FIX THE HAMMERHEAD! I'm tired of a lone Geth trooper blowing the HH up. The HH is an IFV just like the Mako, not a Lego toy.

4. Combat was good, easier in some ways than ME1 and the distinct classes added something good. But give players more than a straight line to follow in every combat. Give alternate ways to like flanking or stealth to use for players other than charging straight ahead. Get rid of the convenient cover everywhere you go. Mercs aren't going to be so accomodating as leaving low cover everywhere in front of and inside their bases (ala Jack's recruitment mission with the Warden) :pinched:

5. Banish planetary scanning. It was boring and ridiculous and on put me to sleep on a regular basis and there has to be a better way.

I'll start off with how i think the game should begin.Since ME1 Commander Shepard agreed to be interviewed by Emily Wong, in ME2 she sent Shepard an email holding him or her to this promise. Its time for her wish to be grantedImage IPB In this interview the player will have the chance to tell all, what really happened during the Battle of the Citadel and what Shepard has been up to since his dramatic return to the public (albeit covert) stage...The player will have the chance to tell the inter-galactic community about the Reaper threat and more...

Beyond this...More Alternative Playable Characters Moments: Like when Jeff "Joker' Moreou took the helm.If recruiting was a big part of ME2.Then delegating assignments and responsibilites to others, should be highlighted this time around.Playing as Admiral Hacket the commander of the 5th Fleet, for a while would kick assImage IPB Real-Time Strategy like combat...Ever since ME1 i have been fascinated by the codex entries that inform the player of what space combat is like and i have yearned to expierence this, in game.As cool as these conflicts are done in cut scences, its time to let the player experience the real thingImage IPB Akin to how Hideo Kojima finally let Metal Gear Solid fans pilot a Metal Gear in MGS4...

Exploration: I can still recall in ME1 when Ashley, Kaiden and Shepard were on the Citadel, how awe-struck they all were. All Alenko could say was,"Big place!!" Commander Shepard rightfully noted that the Citadel was not a space station but rather it would be more accurate to call it a 'space metropolis'...BioWare needs to allow the player to explore this enviroment in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas like fashion. A huge open world, where you can get in a skycar (like during "The Lair of the Shadow Broker Mission) and explore locales for hours on end.Image IPB

Finally, everyone's Shepard is different from anothers, but inspite of this the real Shepard is still present. In Mass Effect 1 Shepard was just doing his job and that was enough. He was a Spectre and doing what only a Spectre could do.In Mass Effect 2, Shepard was back at it again. But now that we've reached the final act, i feel that to enrich the emotional content and drama of the story, Commander Shepard needs to have something personal at stake in this conflict. Its not enough anymore for him or her to just be doing thier job.As Dr.Mordin Solus said, thinking of his favorite nephew helped motivate him more than usual to defat the Collectors.Mere facts and statics about countles senteint beings who might perish wasn't good enough...To that end, i think it would be a downright stroke of genuis for the Ashley/Shepard storyline. For it to be revealed in ME3 that Operations Chief Ashley Williams bore his child.During the aftermath of the Battle of the Citadel she became pregnant by him, but then other events took place and so on and so forth.I speak more of this in my Mass Effect Fanfic titled: Commander Shepards Log: 2185...

I feel that for those like myself who decided to get romantically involved with Ms.Williams, that there needs to be a pay off to that relationship.Beyond the 'Night Before Illos' 'The Reunion' and 'The Love Letter"...In a way the most interesting before the 'Suicide Mission' cutscene to me was Shepard entering his quarters and looking at Ashley's picture on his desk...If he discovers that they have a child together, than now the "War with the Reapers' is much more meaningful...For now he is fighting not just for 10's of billions of unknown strangers. But for the future of his son or daughter.Family is an important theme in the Mass Effect Universe: indeed at least five or more of the 'Loyalty Missions' in ME2 have something to do with a 'family affair'.I still fondly remember listening to Ashley talk unendingly about her sisters, father, mother and grandparents. For Shepard who (at least in my charater creation) is an orphan/ war hero.A man who has lost so much and achieved great things as well.Seeing him victorious over the Reapers and embracing life and an unknown future as a parent and husband. Is a good way for the story to concludeImage IPB Now some may say "Oh, that's to much of a 'and they lived happily ever after ending.' I say, Not all war stories need end in tragedy and having Shepard give his life for everyone would be sort of cliche' wouldn't it?!

I'm in absolute agreement. I believe that the exploration of the cities should be to the detail of a game like GTA 4, only futuristic appeal of course. And same with every planet you visit. It seems to me, if they added this aspect to a few visitable places, you'd be given a map size of GTA x 1000. Sure this may take a lot of time, but I think ME3, the masterpiece, should be given A LOT of time. Release date of Holiday 2011 almost seems to early for me. I want this to be the Avatar of all movies. Bioware is rich. They need to take that money and put it all into the time of making Mass Effect 3. Then it will be a nominee for one of the best games in this WORLD.

Hmm...

My wish list doubt it would be cared of...

1. cut down the loading times in the elevator in the Normandy.

2. Raise the level cap to 60 like ME1 as its too easy to get 30 from ME2.

3. I like the one person saying to have a choice between Alliance and Ceb. Making the choice to be good or evil endings.

4. keep both hammerhead and the mako and a better recovering from both. Also add to able to leave the hammerhead and battle on foot if hammerhead takes too much time to fire the cannon.

5. Get rid of the missing character glitches from ME2. For example when EDI was saying she has Reaper Tech. Joker will say something only thing is hear jokers voice but polit seat is empty. Along with the Sheppard VI's Sheppard disappears telling Tali to laugh it up.

6. Keep the loyalty missions but with the DLC characters have dialog with them incase a loyalty mission passed but didn't have enough good or bad to get results.

7. unlimited fuel and ammo i miss having from ME1 that should come back aswell.

8. Have Sheppard say "I WARNED YOU!" to the Councilers in ME3.

9. Bring Conrad back again maybe as an ally to Sheppard.

10 Bring back the guy trying to return or exachange that item from ME1 and ME2.

11. Have some space battles and be able to recover in allied space or help around Normandy with repairs. Have a mini game at it.

12. Bring back the Citidal of ME1.

13. Visit other bases or cities in the Sol system.

14. More galaxy's having both galaxies of ME1& 2.

Before I launch into my ME3 wish list, I want to thank everyone who was involved in making Mass Effect 2 one of the most enjoyable and memorable games I have ever played. Overall, you did a terrific job – it’s quite apparent a great deal of time and tender loving care went into both games (ME1 and ME2). Your willingness to consider fan feedback while developing ME2 was much appreciated and not overlooked by this ardent fan of the series! Thank you! Now to my ME3 wish list…

If I had to pick just one area I’d like to see changed it would be: Improve squad mate combat AI - especially taking cover while in a firefight. All too often, especially at the hardcore and insanity levels, those in my squad invariably rush headlong into enemy fire - unless I direct them to cover. And this doesn't always work because they sometimes take the longest route to the destination I specified. While trying to take cover in this manner, they run right into the enemy's line of fire and are instantly "toast" (as an enemy vanguard might say).

Create a vehicle (or aircraft) that's fun to drive (or fly) - something that is easy to maneuver in any environment. To me, the MAKO is cumbersome and clunky - it lacks the necessary mobility to adequately navigate the surface of several planets in ME1 that featured very challenging terrain (very steep inclines and very low valleys in places). IMHO, the Hammerhead is cool (the idea is sound) but it is even more frustrating to maneuver and if it is brought back in ME3, here are few shortcomings I hope Bioware addresses:

1. How I wish it could maintain altitude while hovering. To me, having to use environmental elements to gain unsustainable altitude is frustrating at times and takes away what little fun is gained from flying it.

2. It has no shields to speak of (a single geth trooper can take it down in seconds).

3. It has no radar. I would prefer a radar over an onboard VI supplying general info about a particular area ("Warning: Geth forces detected.")

4. Inability to adequately choose or prioritize targets. One can have an enemy lined up (sighted) in the reticule and missiles fired at the specified target veer off and strike another target instead. This can be hazardous to Shep’s health if a Geth Colossus is breathing down his neck and he can’t take it out until the Hammerhead decides it wants to target it (instead of less dangerous enemies).

5. Allow for the ability to save the game during a mission that includes flying the Hammerhead.

A few ideas in regard to apparel:

1. More brilliant coloring of customizable armor (that is, the armor with pieces that can be mixed and matched). I almost always choose black as my base color in ME2 because most of the other colors available appear washed out. That is, the armor looks as if it started out in black and was painted over (but not enough coats of paint were applied to bring out the intended color in full measure). There are some instances when this is not so (when certain lighting in the game brings out the color brilliance similar to how the armor appears in Shep's armor locker) - this is especially true when visiting the Normandy crash site - if only armor could look this good throughout the game.

2. Make extra ammo packs an independent accessory - not incorporated as part of a specific piece of armor. For instance, if I want to wear the off-hand ammo pack, I must forego wearing the Kestrel version of the arms portion of the armor (and I subsequently lose any attributes this particular piece of armor had).

3. Give women squad mates more respectable and practical clothing. Thank you, Bioware, for recently addressing this issue with Miranda (her new armor available through AAP #2 is much welcomed – it’s a credit to the professional woman she is). Hopefully catsuits will be a thing of the past and won't be carried over into ME3. It's the 22nd century after all!
4. Make head accessories (helmets and visors) removable while on a mission, like in ME1.

Keep the weapons inventory as it is in Mass Effect 2 or make small changes to it (tweak it here and there). Please don’t bring back the nightmare inventories from Mass Effect 1. One thing I wished I had in ME2 was a place to test fire my weapons (maybe a room similar to the holodeck in "Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force"). This is especially true for the heavy weapons. If only I could have tested the Avalanche, Arc Projector and M-920 Cain in a training room before I took such a weapon with me into battle. Such a room could also be used to practice biotic and tech skills – perhaps even in tandem with Shep’s squad members.

Bioware did a terrific job in ME2 creating a variety of different worlds to visit and to their credit they included some environmental hazards as well (the sun's radiation frying the squad's shields while recruiting Tali, for instance).  It was such fun visiting these worlds - a major step up from the buildings that Shepard visited during missions in ME1 that featured similar layouts with the objective/enemies invariably lurking near the back of the building. What fun it would be if the rich environments in ME2 are carried over into ME3 and we are given an opportunity to explore these intriguing locales in greater detail.

When not in battle, it would be neat if there were more things to do at specific establishments. (Dark Star was a major step up from Chora's den. As large as the club was, however, there wasn't much to do outside of buying a drink and talking to the groundskeeper.) In ME2, I wished there were more shops to visit with a greater variety of things to buy. Maybe gifts (or prank items) Shepard could give crewmembers (similar to Dragon Age) or perhaps special gifts for his/her love interest.   I love the Citadel and Nos Astra on Illium. Kudos to the art design folks who really brought these destinations to life with impressive graphics, brilliant colors and lighting.  I missed being able to walk outside while on the Citadel, however.

I fervently hope all (or most) of my surviving (ME1 and ME2) crew will return in the finale (that they won’t be relegated to sending a single email to Shep or they only make cameo appearances). So much of ME2 was spent building our "group of honorable heroes" (as Samara says). Unlike ME1, ME2 crewmembers didn't invite themselves along. Shepard put himself in harm's way to recruit and subsequently gain the loyalty and trust of each member of his/her team. To me, they seem so much like a part of the Mass Effect family. What a shame if all or most do not have significant roles in the finale (if certain decisions made in respect to specific team members in ME1 and ME2 have no or very little impact in the final episode). There is one exception: I wouldn't miss Yeoman Kelly Chambers. Hearing her say "You've got mail" every time Shepard comes back from a mission grated on my nerves after a while. Some of what she shared as the ship’s counselor was a bit much too – wanting to hug Garrus, for instance, was a bit too sappy for my taste.

Give crewmembers the ability to interact with each other more - both on the Normandy and when on missions.

Include a vorcha character that can be interacted with a lot more (not necessarily a squad member but someone Shepard can interact with in greater detail while visiting a world). They are so much fun to look at and to listen to! I intentionally walk past Shisk in the Omega markets more than once during a single visit just so I can hear him say "Back! I Tear Your Face! Back!." Their voices ("Can't Kill Me!" "I'm bleeding!"), infectious laughter and perpetual smile crack me up! :-)

Bring back the "new Normandy" (SR2) in ME3. With repairs and a few upgrades, of course. (If Shepard's aquarium survived the suicide mission, an automatic fish feeder would be nice!).  And as Shep alludes to, a lounge would be a nice addition as well!

As I bring this list to a close, I can hear Miranda saying "We are all hoping you can do the impossible, Shepard. No pressure." I can only imagine the intense pressure Bioware is under as they try to match or perhaps surpass the numerous accomplishments and vast improvements they incorporated into Mass Effect 2. It’s a tall order! This in mind, I hope those crafting the finale are being given the time and resources they need and things aren't rushed for the sake of a holiday release later this year. I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer (as long as it takes, in fact) if it makes the finale the blockbuster we are all hoping it will be.

Quick wish for ME3, I wish there would be a fighter plane type dogfight in space using the "taxi cab chase" engine on the shadowbroker DLC. The controls were good, they werent awesome but I like the simplicity. Add more maneuverable space to make it seem less linear and with it you got a good mini game for ME3.

Hmmm... epic dogfight in space or epic re-entry dogfight when taking back earth.

And lastly, if you'll still use the holographic visors on ME3. Can I just make a simple request for a tweak for it to decrease its visibility when on brighter light hits shepard and of course increase when surroundings are dim.

Thanks bioware. The gaming universe expects nothing but the quad-load of awesomeness for ME3.

Use the squad interface from ME2's E3 demo. ME2's actual one does not make any sense.

things i would love to see in ME3

more areas in the citadel to explore

some more areas of omega to explore

some space battles

looting corpses like ME1

be able 2 buy/sell resourses

a new mako which can be upgraded

more armour customisation

would be great to have a squad member that would betray the squad at some point by maybe killing a squad member

and finally i would love to see during a recruitment mission or loyalty mission or something along those lines a rooftop race which doesnt focus on shooting just chasing someone down like LotSB dlc except from you would be jumping between buildings (this doesnt mean needing add a jump button it could just be an automatic thing when approaching the roofs end)

Here is my wishlist for ME3 :)

- good 3D-Support (ME2 is not working well in 3D, even with the suggested graphic options turned off, there are still some things not rendered correctly)

- ressources are okay, but change the search-system (you won't want to have your customers sitting in front of the game for 2 hours, only searching for ressources again and again)

- a really good story and good storytelling, 4 "main-missions" in ME2 was kind of a joke to me, I even felt that the recruitment of crew members was more important than the actually opponent (knowing it wasn't overall, but it still felt like the reaper/collectors were just some sidestory)

- maybe add some kind of fleet-command, meaning Shepard as commander (maybe in connection with the ressource searching?)

- just don't make ME3 like ME2 but with race- and not crewrecruiting

- better/more bonding of old crewmembers

- keep the upgrade-system of the Normandy (maybe a SR3?) but please give some more consequences for the upgrading, meaning if you upgrade your ship you benefit from it, if not you may lose Credits for repair or even crewmembers

- no "calm" ending, it's supposed it be epic! We all know you can do these kind of cutscenes (e.g. ME1 ending? Epic. Last 2 Seconds of ME2? Epic.) Give us more of this stuff, this seperates one game from many

- New crewmembers, more opportunities for romances, hatred etc. and more missions for each member

- get back the council; in ME1 control mechanism for everything, in ME2 a joke (same with Spectre-Status; you've to earn it in ME1, but in ME2 they just throw it to you)

- keep the different types of missions but don't make us too many little critters dealing a ton of damage

- more RPG stuff, more opportunities for individualization (e.g. clothes), get back the inventory and the chance to purchase armor, weapons and arming

- bigger influence of choices made in earlier games

- change the ammunationsystem

- bigger cities again, citadel as center of the galaxy

- if you're planning to implement sex again, please don't implement it again right before the final ending (or atleast not only - Jack was a good example)

- atleast a bit better graphics (good 3D support already mentioned) but also in matters of face-animations and interaction between characters

- a few new races again, has always been fun to talk to them and find out how they're thinking

- maybe a few quests or else only available after the ending, since in my opinion the game will still have to be playable after

- lots of possibilities for different endings

Have fun and bring us a new epic game!

My wish for ME3 is that the developers stay the course that made ME2 a superior game compared to ME1 and keep "RPG elements" down to a minimum. More actual, you know...roleplaying and less inane implementations to fulfill narrow-minded interpretations on what makes a proper RPG.

Please bioare do not liss to the guy. ME3 need more RPG elements and should be closer to ME1 then ME2.
Also ME3 need to be alot longer then ME2. It needs to be atlest as long as ME1 if not longer.

Better character customization, more difficult to sruvive the last mission, more indepth to Shepards background, an epilogue (ala Dragon Age: Origins), more skills per class, more armors, changeable hair in-game, all crewmates killable, Normandy combat system, customizable wepons, more open ended levels (different ways to reach our destiny,e.g. one for inflitrators, one for vanguards, etc.), atributes (Strength, Agility, Endurance, Vitality, Intelligence, Charm), more freedom to customize the crewmates, no skill-ammo (let that to wepon customization), Normandy appearance customization, possible betrayal of crewmembers, bring back M4 Part 2, Collector crewmate, Wrex, improved meelee, meelee wepons, dual SMGs or pistols, some minigames (playable Varren fights, Code of Honor: Medal of Duty) Head Shots (REAL headshots), NO OPEN ENDING (finish everything related to Shepard in the epilogue), at least 5 things from this list. :alien:

-Don't overhall Shepard's sqadmates again. Replace one or two if you must, but if my Shepard survives with three sqadmates, then that number shouldn't change much. That'll give a lot of weight  and meaning to the second game.

-I would incorperate the interactive comic in all versions of ME3.  It would be optional, of course. It'll make that game more replayable by letting players see what variations making different major decisions can make. Players starting a new game could get a predetermined set of squadmates (four or five?) that changes according to their class and gender. That way new players could potentially meet the entire cast with enough playthroughs.

-Of course if you do that, you'll have to have another way to reward players importing save files. I suggest raising the level cap to 50 (and even to level 60 for characters who reached that level in the first game). In doing so, you would need to increase power cap to rank 5, and possibly allow the player to add another bonus power to make room for the additional points. Giving the player another advanced weapons training opportunity would allow us to create a super soldier that''d really incentivize new players to go through the first two games.

-I would like to see enemy AI try to flank your squad more on harder difficulties. You've created a tactical shooter and cover is so important that I'd love to see the 'tactics' aspect of combat evolve further.

-So far, anytime a squadmate has died, it was due to the players decision. Just once, I would like to see someone's fate determined by the player's prowess in combat. You almost did this with the squadmate in the ventilation shaft, but if they died because you were too slow, you couldn't continue. A really good place to have implemented this idea would have been the leader of the diversion team. Instead of them dying based on loyalty and who it was, Shepard and co. could have provided cover fire for them to get back to safety. Choosing a better leader might have made the task easier, but it would still come down to the player's ability to keep fire off of their sqadmate.

-Personally, I would love to see a solo combat mission. Let Shepard survive on his own for once. If you're worried about class inequality, you could concoct a scenario where Shepard is captured and stripped of his armor, weapons, implants and omni tools. Shepard must escape and find his teammates and equipment. This could be explored in DLC perhaps?

-On that point, I would like to see a solo mode for the entire game. You could have it be unlockable for those who've completed the game on insanity.

-I'd love a scary level. Something like Dead Space perhaps. I know Mass Effect isn't a survival horror game, and you would't want this sustained, but a single, well placed horror level could be excellent. This would have worked really well on the derelict reaper, and you even had the music for it; you just didn't commit to what I felt was a missed opportunity.
