. Life signs on new planet you go to explore and find a new race.
. You find Protheans on an unexplored planet. ( I really want the Protheans not to have been extinct.)
Aditional Ideas
.You can have a relationship with Ashley Williams again.
.You can EXLPORE EVERY WORLD for E.G Mars you can explore the Prothean ruins what was the 1st thing what told humans theyre was life.
.IN-SPACE combat for E.G Normandy against reaper in space where you have full controll of the Normandy, you can move it and fire its weapons.
.I know this is a CRAZY idea but do you ever see anyone do any SPORTS?, maybe you could watch people play any sports.
.Grenades, They were theyre in Mass Effect 1 and gone in Mass Effect 2 bring them back!
.When you die Team mates can Heal you so you dont need to start again.
Thats all i can think about at the minute

I don't know if this is exactly what you were getting at, but I think that if you only lost 2 squad missions in the 2nd game then you should only have to recruit 2 new squad mates, and if you lost almost all of them then you will get a lot of new squad mates. I know they might not want to do this because it could make people who made it through with all their squad still alive have a shorter game due to them not recruiting new squad mates to replace their dead ones, and they wouldn't be able to see as many new characters but over all I think it would make the choices you made in ME2 a lot bigger, and their are a ton of ways to fix these problems. You could make more missions for the squad mates who have been with you since the 1st and 2nd game and you could also give the player the ability to kick someone from their team and recruit new ones. After all Shepard IS the commander of the ship.

I agree with this at the beginning of the game you get the option to go out and look at all the possible people you could recruit and then you make changes by adding some or deleting some memebers. And the members you delete or don't bring with you still efeect the game somehow.
I also think the shadow broker should make a big difference to

Just finished the game, loves it! My good old shephard died tho lol
I would suggest the next Mass Effect should allow players to fully customize their next 'Shephard', including the option to choose races. It will be a wonderful way to start a brand new shephard, tho would sound weird to have other aliens called a human name.
Would really love to see other races playing heroes, not only human in the next game
EDIT: oh yea! and able to visit Earth
yeah, being other species would be cool, and the human name could be that you're half human or adopted.
plus, bring back vehicles, but let them be customizable like the armor in ME2 like color and you could buy extra thingys for it

Also would like Liara to rejoin the team, she can have a mobile shadow broker base in the Normandy somewhere.
Lastly 1-3 new squad members because it just isn't a Bioware game if it doesn't have at least a few new companions.
Everything else keep the same.

For you to politely change your contract with Clint Mansell and bring Jack Wall back on board for the final game.
I'm tired of hearing this.
Jack Wall left of his own accord and neither party wishes antipathy towards the other; Jack Wall said so himeself. Clint Mansell is a fantastic composer who is most likely more than capable of filling Jack Wall's shoes.

What ME3 definitely needs is the dialogue option "Ah yes, Reapers" in a conversation with the council.
You know you want it.
Council: Shepard, you were right all along, the Reapers are here. We need your help!
Shepard: Ah, yes, "Reapers," The immortal race of sentient starships allegedly wating in dark space. I have dismissed that claim. *disconnects the comm*
also, I've always thought that video games should come with blooper reels. (if you want to know exactly what I mean, check this video out) you know, with your shep messing up his (or her) lines maybe if you have a cyborg zombie renegade shep then that shep should lose some makeup or something.
I know it's not likely, and it's probably impractical, but I can dream, can't I?

Shepard
1) Shepard’s music
theme. (could contain samples of the Normandy track)
2) Have Shepard escape by
jumping onto moving cargo.
3) Paragon interrupt: use
a tissue or just a couple of fingers to wipe away tears.
4) Have him shield someone
with his body.
5) Have Shepard drive a
vehicle while dodging reapers that are trying to crush them by
landing on him.
6) Have Shepard
escorted while he is handcuffed.
7) Having Cerberus
‘’kidnap’’ Shepard from a colony would be ironic. It could be
to rescue Shepard or to ask him some pointed questions or to
interrogate him.
8) A piggyback ride,
maybe Shepard must carry Miranda, or maybe a new character from me 3.
9) Lead a team of n7
soldiers on a mission.
10) Have Shepard
ride on top of a geth armature or colossus.
11) Renegade
interrupt: biotically pull a drink from another costumer.
12) Have someone
reveal Shepards cybernetic implants. It could be through scanning or
someone could cut him.
13) Have Shepard
cry? Has to be for a good reason to make it convincing though.
14) A (train type)
moving battle. (literally): Shepard and another character are being
chased. They are running and defending themselves. While trying to
escape, he is protecting them. The enemies are attacking and giving
chase. They are trying to kill or capture them. Maybe they are
fighting through a moving vehicle, like a train or metro. Then they
jump from one platform to another. Could end with differently with
escape or capture.
15) Dream sequence
A dream sequence as only a
cutscène or a dream sequence as a level to play through. Or maybe a
combination of both. (Could be a prologue or intro.)
Could be about different
things.
For example. Shepards love
interest. Past battles.
Different memories. They
could all be blending together.
Maybe Shepards thoughts
(or thoughts of companions) can be heard during the memories.
Or maybe a different sequence depending
on your psychological profile...
So, for example, if you
have a warhero background you’ll play through a dream sequence of
the batarian attack on Elysium and at the end you (shepard) wake up
(possibly in bed) in the present. Then if you revisit Elysium in the
present time you can see how much it has changed.
16) Have Shepard up
in the air pinned to the wall with biotics.
17) Swimming through
water to avoid detection?
18) Meet Rahna, the
girl Kaiden likes. Could lead to a reunion between Kaidan and Rahna.
Or she confronts you about letting Kaiden die on Virmire.
19) A child who is
afraid of a renegade spectre runs away towards Shepard for
protection.
20) Have a character use
pull or throw on Shepard to complete another heavy leap.
21) Meet your opposite, so
if you’re a paragon player you’ll meet a renegade character, if
you’re a renegade you’ll meet a paragon character, maybe it’s
another n7 marine.
Normandy
1) Have husks come
out of sleeper pods, maybe those of the Normandy.
2) Optical
camouflage for the Normandy, could be camouflage like a cameleon, or
invisibility.
3) Epic – enhanced
protection icon, a new decoy system. Could work with Magnetism.
4) Lay a minefield
for enemy ships.
5) Blow up a fuel
depot.
6) Have the
reflective armor prototype on your ship. (form the side mission in
me2)
7) Have a dedicated
fighter hangar. Maybe Shepard could fly a fighter from it.
8) The QEC in the
Normandy (or other ship) serving as a springboard which launches you
on release. (Maybe it's malfunctioning)
Other
1) Have the Illusive man fight a battle
remotely, Harbinger style
2) Have a carrier ship named after
Shepard
3) Sabotage a relay.
Could be like this: The shuttle drops you on the surface of the
relay. You move with your squad towards the point where you hack or
destroy it. Meanwhile fighting enemy ground forces trying to stop
you.
Then the relay activates
(if it is not active already) and a ship comes through. Right in your
face so to speak, actually in front and above you. You see the blue
of the relay cast light on the ship. If it is an enemy ship, then it
could be a great ''oh ****'' moment. Then you hurry back to the
shuttle. Maybe you can call in fighters as a distraction and to cover
your escape. Or maybe the Normandy does that.
4) Cerberus Interceptor (specialized
fighter).
Design philosophy: As a
unique type of advanced Cerberus fighter, the Cerberus Interceptor is
specifically meant to hunt down enemy fighters. Therefore it is
designed as a fast twisting agile fighter. (The rotation helps avoid
enemy fire.)
Motivation: a Cerberus
Interceptor because ''Cerberus will stop them''
Looks: The interceptor
could be shaped like the Cerberus logo. With the cockpit being in the
middle. The eezo drive core behind the cockpit at the back of the
fighter.
If you look at the
Cerberus logo you see the fighter from the top down view. The topside
of the logo would be the backside of the fighter. The wings of the
fighter would be at the sides. They could be moveable. For example
turning 90 degree outwards. Or extending forward as the fighter
prepares for battle. The underside of the logo would be the front of
the fighter. The primary weapon, the double lasers, would be placed
there. The size of the Interceptor would be similar to a regular
fighter. It doesn't have much height but it is low and sleek. Orange
and black as paint colors.
5) A cutscène of Shepard's hologram
getting (violently) interrupted. Similar to this: Jump to (8:24-9:06)
8:54
6) A Batarian being
enslaved by the reapers would be ironic, because a member of a
species where slavery is legal, is being enslaved.
7) See how an n7
(and, or Spectre) training facility looks like and maybe fight
through it.
8) Spectre logo
painted on a warship.
9) Tension between
Ashley and Legion because of Eden Prime.
10) A praetorian
rampaging. Using one of its four claws in the middle of a person.
Using its eye mounted particle beams on innocent civilians.
11) Indoctrinated or
senile hanar.
12) See the glowing
tiger stripes (DRA) on a ship.
13) A scène or part
without gravity. Could be a funny moment if gravity is being restored
and somebody falls on Shepard.
14) A mission to rescue
the scientists who designed the Normandy.
15) Meet legion at the
Synthetic Insights office on Noveria.
16) The shop:
featuring: skycars;
rings: -Charon relay, The conduit, New omega 4 relay, Citadel relay
(switches between flower shape and cylindrical shape), Cerberus ring;
food: FTL-fish (Faster than light fried fish), Dark space cake.

- Joker as a LI (Hey, we got Garrus and Tali :3), and if not, more lines and epicness like the assault rifle scene
- Kal'Reegar as a squadmate
- Visit the turian homeworld, Arcturus Station, Jump Zero and Elysium
- Council rebuttal about the Reapers involving air quotes
- If Spacer, more contact from Shepard's parents. A reply to mom finally, or maybe introduce dad.
- Throw in another N7 grad or two as potential squad members. Maybe they trained with Shep
- Get Nathan Fillion for some voice acting. I don't care if he voices Blasto or an elcor, he should be in on this XD
- EPIC SOUNDTRACK, oh and the Commander Shepard Song as the ending credits, or at least an easter egg XD
