More interactions with secondary crew mates, like Kelly and the Doc. I like the improved conversation with Joker. On that note I don't know if this is even possible in a game but it always bothers me when those that I can talk to get to a point where they just shut me down. Takes me out of the role when they run our of things to say.
When the Normandy is docked why does it leave just becuase I go back to it. In ME1 you could walk onto the ship and then walk back off wihtout actually leaving port. Lets go back to that. Makes no sense to just head back to the ship, leave port, do whatever and then have to fly back and dock again.
I was never allowed to get pissed off. There were a few times when I wanted to throw something or really tell someone off but i couldn't. Plus there are people that you interact with that say something like if you ever need to talk I'm here, but they never have any dialog change. I'd like to update some people on what I'm doing but I am unable to, even though their conversation leaves me to believe I should be able to.
I like the inventory system in ME2 but I don't like the lack of armor/weapons abailable. I also wish there were more upgrade options that I'd have to chose between. On that note I'd like to not have ammo as a power but more as an upgrade again. Where I could change them out on the power screen (do not share a power cool down.) Seemed like it was too arbitrary in upgrading now, too linear.
Bigger cities, ok the cities are very large but why am I limited to a very small area of them. More areas to explore, more side mission on the planets. I always left the cities feeling like there should be more there. As if I'm missing something.
I wasn't able to dog the Illusive Man enough. I was way more polite to him then I'd really want to be. Just becuase I owe him my life doesn't me I agree with him or like him. I can't express that enough to him. I would be snotty and sarcastic.
Something that I complained about in ME1 was how did the two I was courting know I was courting them? They didn't seem like the type that would talk to each other. In ME2 I know two specific members of my crew who wouldn't ahve anything to do with each other yet I can't chose both of them?
Wow this is much longer than I thought it would be but there is one other thing I'd liek to suggest. The 4 skills that we have that are not tracked are hacking, bypassing, scanning and flying. Why can't these be done similar to paragon/renegade. That way the more we do them the better we get. Ex: Scanning, the more y ou do it the quicker it becomes, the more you get. The upgrade woudl be similar to the way it tracks signals but instead of white could be red. Hacking/bypassing gives more time. This would allow more difficult puzzles but not make it impossible to compete them if we ahve been skilling it up. Flying you use less fuel becuase you are better at movign through space?

1. Much larger Citadel. Like the OP I want it to be, well not HUGE, be big. I want to be able to get lost or atleast require the map. Maybe like five different sub-areas. We already seen the Presidium, let's have that back in ME3. Let's have the Wards Market and Zakera ward back again but fixed up a bit. Both those areas show the more poorer and crime filled areas but I wanna see more. Maybe Bioware could add the area were the Keepers work. Don't the really poor or hardened criminals live under the Wards even? Because they can't afford or dont want to be imprisoned. Bioware could also add a Hanar type section in any random ward. I would love to see how the Hanar live. They have no fingers and require the Drell or any other race to build and such. The architecture could look so different from anything we have seen.
2. I want more worlds. Basically hub worlds really. After all the Hub worlds are nice and big and have alot to see. Let's have five hub worlds. let us visit the homeworlds of the most important races.
Palaven, the Turian homeworld would be interesting to go to because of the radiation I would like to see how humans would adapt to it. I wanna see if the Turian opinion has been changed depending if we saved or killed the council.
Kahje, I want to see Kahje the most. The Hanar are supposed to have beautiful oceans and cities should be made to to reflect their distinct way of life. I actually wanna see a Hanar firing a gun or chocking someone.
Thessia, the Asari homeworld. If the Asari are the most advanced of all the races their homeworld should be a gem. The Asari seem to care more about people than the other races. Their long terms views and how it affects their way of life would be interesting to see. To actually get to work with Asari Commando's for once instead of killing them be so fun. They are stealthy and quiet yet dangerous. To see them in action would be something.
Any Salarian Colony or perhaps the Salarian homeworld. Since a Salarian homeworld hasn't been named I would settle for any planet the Salrians first colonized. The Salarians or the most intelligent of the races and second to join the council. There short lives also impact their way of life seeing if any of their architecture is reflected by it would be nice. Salarians love perfection and never settle for less so their cities would have to be magnificent, when I see a Salarian world I want to automatically think about scientists just minngling and experiments going awry.
3.Shadows. Dear god Bioware work on the damn shadows.
4.Side quests. I think the Bioware did an amazing job with sidequests in Mass Effect 2. I have no problems with it except for one. There are too few of them. Fifty sidequests or so. I know thats sound like alot but well it's Mass Effect 3 Bioware should go all ou and make it the best ending to the trilogy.
5. Depending on how good or bad the Hammer DLC turns out to be I wanna see more Vehicular type missions or sidequests. Maybe even include the Normandy in a fight or two if possible ofcourse. Scanning ok definetly better than driving around to scan materials. But it should be worked on. Make it fun, have it be a fun addictive minigame if possible so we want to look for resouces.
6. Squad chatter. Dragon Age your companions talk alot. I would like to see my squad talk just as much. In Dragon Age your companions also seem to interrupt your conversations more, I like that in Mass Effect 2 it doesn't happen often enough.
7. Fixing the mouths of non-essential npc's. I hate hearing them talk but their mouth doesn't move its so irritating!

I'd would like to see the ground vehicle make a return.
Also it would be cool to have more recruitable characters than there are spaces on the ship.
Eg, if i recruit the Krogan, then i cant recruit the Asari...or something like that, getting one team member affects your ability to get another.
I'd also like to be Navy again.
I wasn’t too pleased with the Cerberus aspect.
--------------------
Following ME3, i think a multi player aspect would be interesting.
You could choose to create a Human, Krogan, Asari, Vorcha, etc...
Each faction could work independently, and players would have to form their own council to run the economy etc.
Players could run shops, open mines, transport goods to planets, or join the military and fight Merc (or join a merc team and raid people)....
Imagine the size and scope of EVE:online, with the action and rich background history of the MassEffect universe..

Right. I think they should bring back the elevators. You all must think im mad but hear me out. What elevators have been replaced with in mass effect 2 is loading screens. I keep hearing that loads of people hated the elevators because they were slow, boring and pointless. To me thery were a loading screen which didn`t break the emmersion i got when playing the game. They allowed you to play an open world with as few loading screen as possible. Now though you have to sit through a loding screen which, to be perfectly honest, are crap. What makes them worse for me is there not even gameplay graphics there a wire frame of everthing. It was alright at first but after a short time got worse than the elevators. Mass effect to me is a rpg and having the loading screen takes the rpg feel away from it. So please think about it and bioware BRING BACK THE ELEVATORS!
I agree, even though the elevators were long they did keep you emersed in the experience of an RPG. Also I liked the dialogue between characters in the elevators. The teammates in ME2 were like deaf mutes. They only have something to say worth hearing on the ship.
i miss the conversations your squad had in ME1 it was good to hear them talk plus in the elevators you would hear a news story and recieve a mission from it.

The current system makes everything you find necessary and useful. It makes me think about every dime I spend and puts worth into what I upgrade. It sounds like some people want full inventories, billions of useless credits and maxed out characters with weapons, skills and powers that you hardly use. People think more means better when it just doesn't.
My suggestions would be:
* Give us an exploration vehicle if and only if you are going to give us several diverse worlds to explore. I would rather have 4 large and diverse worlds than 10 barren worlds with horrible cliffs to crawl over. Leave those for the scanners. Don't bring back the Mako. Create a totally new vehicle.
* I want more N7 pieces for my character and it would also be nice to have individual pieces you can purchase for your teammates as well that fits their characters.
* At least one unique weapon that only my teammate can use for each teammate. Similar to what Grunt got with the shotgun.
* I would love to see more of the Citadel, Omega and Ilium. Bustling cities and stations like those are more interesting than some many of the planets imo. A city dlc pack would be cool btw. I bet people would pay for a dlc pack that greatly expanded these three locations. Shouldn't Shepard have an apartment on the Citadel?
* Allow us to be able to trade the resources we have scanned on Ilium on the trade floor for credit to make purchases. Btw, put an auto scanner option on the Normandy. Edi is an advanced AI, we should be able to use her to do the scanning. That would keep people from getting bored with manual scanning. If I choose to auto scan, I can get 25% of the planets worth. If I manually scan, I may get more. So both choices have value. The A button is not being used while scanning, so that could be the auto button. In fact you could probably fix that with a patch in ME2.
Overall, this is a great game that is moving in the right direction. I find that it is better than the first and that you have removed a lot of unnecessary garbage from the first game. The story should always be the main focus, so stick with making that deeper and larger and you can't go wrong. Everything else is just cake. Thanks for a great game.

They will not end the Mass Effect Uni with ME3, Bioware will create side stories or sequels that do not involve Shepard. People will complain that they want Shepard back but who knows. I personally would like to see a medium size MMO created from the arms of the Citadel as servers. I know space exploration is bigtime in Mass Effect but 17 million people live on the Citadel and that can make for a deep enveloping MMO/RPG. Bioware could also create expansions that involve most if not all of the hub worlds scene in all the games so far. Illium expansion anyone--Omega expansion anyone. Also, the fact that you are not Shepard gives you the opportunity to be what ever you want to be and whatever race you want to be, even be a Spectre again but be a Turian Spectre or Salarian STG. I know that this is not the first idea of its kind but an MMO for all systems or not would be the greatest thing Bioware did for Mass Effect.
This is what I would actually love to see as DLC for ME2. I know plenty of people would buy the Citadel, Omega and Ilium expanision packs.
I would also love to see Earth and Terra Nova.

The only thing I can think of that I would want back from ME1 is an inventory system/loot, but make sure if it comes back it is MUCH cleaner and more organized than in ME1.
I ABSOLUTELY DON'T want to spend time in ME3 recruiting. It was awesome for ME2, but I feel now the real threat is upon us and we should use a combination of squad mates from ME1 and ME2 in ME3.
...Oh, and EARTH!!!

Make vaulting over cover and taking cover on two different buttons. You can keep leaving cover on A, and put vaulting on B, possibly. Also, if your character is behind cover and turns around, they need to automatically be ducking or you need to allow us a crouching button, so that turning around to address a flanking enemy or to give an order to an ally doesn't get you shot dead.

I'm with you on this, particularly the unrealistic desire to pack bazillions of weapons. As it is, the loadout that Shepard carries is REALLY pushing it. You are really packing a load in RL if you have two rifles and a handgun (but 2 handguns - one a "cannon" and 2 rifle classes, AND a heavy weapon?). Shepard should either be built like Conan the Barbarian with the lungs of a long distance runner or he should be dropping from fatigue and exhaustion before he gets very far.
Now then, the available weapons for OTHER team members should be expanded and each weapon should really have a distinct ability. Rifles are ALWAYS way more powerful than handguns (or cannons) and against any foe at more than 20 feet, more powerful/useful than a shotgun. A sniper rifle is always a super gun with a high probability of one-shot kill. That's just reality babe.

Sorry, that's gotta be a no. It is IMPOSSIBLE in the real world and in any conceivable e-world that has ANY connection to realism (and seeking immersion) for any character to actually carry an unlimited number of googaws, weapons, money, etc
Take it from some peeps who have actually had to carry weapons in the real world, a pistol, a rifle, and a 'heavy weapon' (rocket launcher, etc) or sniper rifle...is hard work. Just carrying that. Carrying an infinite selection of crap is totally infantile and bogus.
You want to switch out your weapons? Then do so from a weapons locker BEFORE you go on the mission or, if you desire, drop one of your carry weapons and replace it with a pickup from a fallen foe. That's the only realistic means of doing this.
The more realistic the game in this regard, the more it matter how you loadout. The more realistic it is on the little stuff, the more immersive it is.
No character should be invincible (how boring) and no character should be infinitely capable (of anything, including carrying every object ever encountered).
Please return to your work now folks.

it should be a hybrid of ME1 and ME2
You could shoot and let the gun overheat and wait a certain amount of time to let it cool down (and maybe certain upgrades for weapons could reduce the time) or you could reload a thermal clip which would be almost instant
It would make a lot more sense for the Mass Effect Universe and would seem like a better way for it

I have to disagree with you here. This is the distant future we are talking about. The guns, as shown in game, condense into more manageable sizes, and being the future who knows what kind of material these weapons are made of. It could be some sort of plastic/metal alloy or something. Also, the armor they use could be some kind of exoskeleton suite that distributes the weight across the body, they already are working on those right now in real life. So Shepard could theoretically cary hundreds of pounds and barely notice.
