2. If we're going with customizable weapons.... can we have some REAL variety with these weapons versus it simply being a +10% power. Think Borderlands but much less insane.
3. More armor variety would be great. It's nice that we can customize colors and patterns but that's fairly limited versus getting some new cool armor.
4. Get rid of the scanning. Please. If that's not possible.... why must there be 20 different locations to scan!
5. Bring back exploration. I know we complained about the lack of variety in the first game. However, taking a huge chunk of the exploration experience out of the game isn't the solution.
6. I want to be a bad ass spectre again! I hated how that was stripped out of this story.
7. Heat Sinks.... I dislike this new mechanic. I much preferred the unlimited ammo and heat dissipation system from the first game. Not to mention my sniper rifle has way too few ammo......
8. I'd like it if most of the stuff I did in the first game had more of an impact. Outside of news references and a cameo experience.... very little of what I did in the first game was impactful in the second.
9. Bring back vehicle exploration (Pending the Hammerhead missions)
10. It would be nice to receive messages, like the first game, when something was going on in the system. Scanning shouldn't have to be the main method.
11. Team makeup means nothing now. Bringing a tech should mean something. Now it means little unless I want to burn or freeze something in combat. Decryption was a better system.
12. Bring back experience for kills!
13. Get rid of the Team Summary screen. It really broke up the feel of the game. I hated staring at TIM's backside at the end of a mission. It REALLY took me out of the experience.
14. Bring back Engineer Donnelly, Yeoman Chambers, and Gabby. They were awesome.
15. More party banter ala Dragon Age.
16. Helmet Toggle. Hate having to make the choice between extra health with my helmet and being able to see my character's face.
17. Less Linearity.... the Better. ME2 was quite a bit more linear than ME1. I wouldn't say that made it better. Espeically given how decentralized much of the story was.
18. Customizable armor for squadmates. HATED the outfits. Even if it was a system similar to Shep's that would be MUCH better.
19. 11 Characters (12 including Kasumi) a bit overboard. Less is more in this case. Hard to say what the magic number is though.
20.My barrier/shields suck.... thank God for this conveniently placed box/crate/pop up barrier..... I'd like to be able to take enemies head on at times if the situation calls for it. A few seconds out of cover and I'm dead. What's the point of these shields?
21. Email is nice..... but doesn't really lead to many quests.... why? If Emily Wong wants to see me.... I should be able to see her if I want.Stuff like that.
22. Get rid of the probes and fuel thing. That wasn't really any fun.
23. World feels small at times (i.e. the Citadel)
That's it for now. Doing another playthrough so let's see what sticks out.

I would like to be able to talk to my companions without having to worry about activating a romance that I don't want. It always seems like if you're nice to the companion, you activate the romance. If your neutral or a jerk to them, then your not. How about a option to be nice to them but remain friends. I would also like it if all companions were able to really open up to you without the need of romancing (e.g. Thane and Garrus). When I watched the youtube video of especially the thane romance, I was sitting there wondering why that couldn't happen to my maleshep minus the actual romancing part.
In short, I want to be close friends with my companions. Not LI's or people that I treat like crap in order to avoid activating a LI. I also want for companions to really open up to you without the need for a romance (e.g. Thane Garrus).
I agree wholeheartedly
Funny, I have always found these to be blatantly obvious when it comes to speaking your companions. They are always the top lines and always mention something about wanting more between the two. The 'friend' line of dialogue is always the middle or bottom choice as well.

I would actually add a little aesthetic wish, that along with the customizable armors, we should be able to change the colour of the weapon & maybe to add the patter/camo as well, just to match up with the armor. <3aragfore03 wrote... 2. 1. I want to talk to my squad. ME1 had more life because your squad was mouthy and chatty while on missions and didn't hesitate to let you know how they feel. This squad just seems like an assortment of hired guns.
2. I want to be able to amass more points and put them into my abilities INCLUDING NON-COMBAT abilities like persuade. There was no real connection to decisions because I didn't really earn my persuasive points.
3. More on-ship events and conundrums. Basically, anytime you get me closer or push me further away from the people on my team I was intrigued.
4. I want to have to choose between my ME1 lover and my ME2 lover.
5. Chances to fraternize and interact with crew without trying to bed them. Maybe a "dabo" like game in the mess or helping with ship repairs somewhere so you can get to know folks as you work side by side.
6. Maybe start off where there isn't any clear and present danger and you're on a colony either doing something mundane or on R&R and you get a chance to just interact with people on the settlement for a bit before everything goes to hell.
7. Oh yeah! I thought the moral choices were too cut and dry. I felt like they weren't as polar in ME1 but I could be mistaken. I really liked Dragon Age Origins morality, not saying it needs to be like that but just saying that complexity with the moral choices especailly in such a morally gray environment is just way more interesting.
The combat is fun. I like the research and development system too.
I like that the Mako went away and I even liked the idea of sending probes but that scanning system got tedious after a while. Why would Shep be doing that anyway? Why can't you send out some science teams when you enter a system going out and scanning and bringing resources back to the ship. If they see something they can radio you to come check it out and you can do the side mission on that planet.

However, I do want the customization component back, though in a neater format than ME1. There just seems to be no purpose in the armory when your characters automatically get the best weapon available upon receiving it. The lack of stats and just having vague descriptions also rubbed me the wrong way.
More talking to the party members, and being able to get close to them without having to romance them instead of running into a brick wall witht their convos.
Fair treatment of all LIs, and perhaps a further development on the pre-existing ones, and a nice, satisfying ending.
Lesbian and gay romances, please and thank you. Again, treated well, and not like a wet dream.
Interaction between the party members more than a handful of times groundside. Cutscenes on the Normandy and/or many, many predetermined points where conversations trigger. Romances between them would also be great. They're misfits, not antisocial maniacs (most of them, anyway).
Joker, Gabby, Kenneth... the Normandy crew from ME2 was just fantastic.
I can sort of understand not giving too much emphasis on the Citadel in this game since the focus was on "other avenues" of help and the center of that was Omega and, to an extent, Illium, but I want the Citadel back, and bigger and better than ever in ME3. It's the center of galactic affairs. I'd like to see it behave that way. It was almost good in ME1, and ME2 did give it another dimension, but more can be done with it.
Mako. I loved the Mako. Maybe it can flip a little less at the slightest change in ground level, but it was fun. And scanning bored me to tears, to the point where I just looked up the necessary planets for the side quests found by scanning and went there directly instead of wasting my time, clicking on eeeevery planet and hunting around.
The level of humor we had in ME2 was fantastic. Keep it that way.
Legion. Zaeed. Mordin. Jack. Tali. Garrus. Wrex. Liara. Ashley/Kaidan. These were all fantastic characters (when done justice). Bring them back, make them awesome.
A conclusion on the Reapers and the unanswered questions surrounding them. Fighting them and defeating them is great, but I'd like to know about them.
MOAR ADMIRAL
A chance to punch Udina.
A "Ah, 'Reapers'" option for Shepard to mock the turian council member.
Maps. I get lost easily. Maps. Maps maps maps. Maps. Also, maps.
Mission report screens are so distracting and annoying. Yes, I just finished it, I know what happened. You can give me an entry on it and let me know it's there, but you don't need to shove it in my face.
Medigel seems to be confused on what it can and cannot do. I like having it there to heal myself, but it's pointless if you just take cover and you're better in a few seconds - not that I mind that, it's just that it trivializes damage, in a way.
I liked ME2's levelling system, unlike a lot of people (it seems), but I also liked getting clear XP for my kills. The squad points, however, were better arranged for me in ME2. ME1 was just a big ol' mess.
A variety of armors is a good thing, a la ME1, but I love the N7 armor the best. It's got a personal meaning. As amusing as it was to have my party rocking the galaxy in pink and white Phoenix armor, the N7/Onyx armor is my favorite. Bring the variety back...with N7 being the most powerful.
Universal Cooldown was annoying. Squad Disruptor Ammo was great. Slam was pure win.
FemShep's walk was bizarre in ME2. Her head tilted at a weird angle and it was just weird. Also, FemShep has great voice-acting, but she also seems to be side-lined. Also, stop shoehorning me into romancing Generic Human Male. I'm tired of FemShep flirting with Jacob even after I've shut that path down.
Also, can I be nice without romancing somoene? Please? Once again, the upper right-hand option romances everyone (except Garrus, apparently... why is that lower-right-Renegade??).
I enjoyed the variety in the locations of ME2. I realize that if exploration is brought back, it will make it difficult to make each area different, but a balance can be found, I'm sure.
The music in ME2 was awesome. AWESOME. MOAR.
If we can't breathe in a location, please give the teammates the appropriate suits for that. If Jack runs around space with her boobs all over the place, that is an issue.
I HATED that not importing a Shepard gave me a pre-determined setting. Not only that, but it was the most depressing variant ever. Who in their right mind would nominate Udina??? Even my Renegade Sheps wouldn't choose him, he's a jerk. I realize that a lot of people pick up Me2 without having played 1. So like Shepard, we should have the option of choosing a ready-made situation, or we can determine things through dialogue choices, or we can just have menus that select what we did before. It's just so frustrating that I have to play through everything again just to see one thing change. I don't have that kind of time...or that kind of attention span. After twenty times, I know everything so well that I just don't have the patience for it.
More Quarians (again. I liked visiting the flotilla!), drell, hanar, and maybe an intelligent vorcha? THey can't all be scavenging morons. There has to be an exception somewhere.
The mini-games? Not as fun as you think it is. My memory is fine, and yes, I can see the little patterns of code. Towers of Hanoi, though? BW classic. I love it, corny as it is.
Why am I spending money on fuel? Really, we worry about this IRL enough as it is. Get rid of it.
Why is the universal goodbye "I should go." or "That's all my questions." ? And why do my party members always sound like, "I'm busy, gtfo of my room, MOM!" when they don't have anything to say?
Shepard has a history. We chose it, remember, way back when, in ME1? Why is this not mentioned again? Hannah? Akuze? Mindoir? Earth? Ringing any bells, here? Can I talk about this? Can someone ask me about this?
Hell, can party members make me feel like they're looking out for me? I'm not asking for a therapy session, but on occasion, "So how are you feeling, Shepard, since you're saving the galaxy, it'd be good to know if you're mentally stable" would be nice. I know Shepard is the Big Damn Hero, meant to burst in, shoot up the place, and leave with a girl/guy on his/her arm, but a little bit of weakness would make me sympathize a little more.
If you can make something that affects me as much as the ME2 intro does, I would love you. However, it'd be nice if I didn't have to go through all that just to get to the face-gen screen.
Shepard talked for me too much. It's as much an RPG when we step into the role of Shepard as it is when we create the role of Shepard, but I'd like to have better control over what Shepard is saying. Also, ME2's options were great, but sometimes unclear on the dialogue wheel, more so than ME1 on occasion.
And the Paragon/Renegade right/left interruptions were...fun, which surprised me. Keep 'em. You have my blessing.
Garrus' dad, especially if we're romancing him again (and we better have the option to).
Though if you're going to include new party members, momm y and daddy issues are unnecessary for heartstring tugging. There has to be at least ONE happy family in the galaxy aside from Spacer Shepard.
That's all off the top of my head. Lot of this has been mentioned, I'm sure, but voicing it again gives it more power, I think. I hope. >.> I guess.
ETA: Cracks about Shepard's driving would be fun, and can we bust better moves on the dance floor, please? The shuffle is out of style.

- 4 character parties. It is annoying, I want more banter/comments/ bigger firefights
- Just like on certain missions you got to use a vehicle, certain missions you get to use 6 characters. (Suicide Mission?)
- Better Biotic abilities. Currently Biotic's is like The Force's younger, uglier brother.
- <b>A LOT MORE GUNS!!!!!exclamation!</b> 8 pistols, 6 SMG's, 8 Assualt Rifles, 6 Sniper Rifles, 6 Shotguns. Seriously wtf is with the setup in vanilla ME2? 2 pistols, 2 SMG's, 3 shotgun's(4 counting the 1 DLC one they added) 4 Assault Rifles (5 counting collector rifle which is a gimmick gun) and 4 Sniper rifles. Also, you have to choose 1 or the other for the last assault, sniper and shotgun in Vanilla game. Further cutting down your variety of weapons
- More Accurate Shotguns. In ME1 upgraded shotguns got pretty accurate. Maybe after your 4th or 5th Shotgun damage upgrade you get a Shotgun accuracy upgrade. That actually pissed me off
- All classes can use all weapons, just limit the amount you can take by class. Soldier=4, Infiltrator=4, Vanguard= 4, Sentinel=3, Adept=3, Engineer= 3. At the start of the mission you get to choose your loadout, ex. Mission 1 you take the Avenger Assault Rifle, Katana Shotgun, and Predator pistol. Mission 2 you take the Mantis Sniper Rifle, Vindicator Assault Rifle, and Tempest SMG.
- 2 handed Smg's. You got machine pistol's with the tempest and Shurikan. But there should also be some you hold like an assault rifle/MP5/UMP/Uzi
- Equip-able Melee attack. Combat Knife, Charged knuckles~(incendiary punch, electric punch, disruptor punch, cryo punch,Biotic punch), Bayonet, forearm blades, claw.
- Inventory Ammo instead of Ability ammo. Allows for more ammo variety and the ability to change them and use more of them
- BRING BACK GRENADES and make them more like a grenade and less like the throwable mines that they were in ME1.
- Light pistol's. There is a heavy pistol category, what about light pistols? Higher rate of fire, bigger clip less damage, less accurate, more health, shield damage and.......Dual wielding!
- Heavy weapon that is a automated turret that you can deploy in spot's.
- Deploy-able cover's like the Geth ones in ME1 and the collector ones in ME2.
- At least 1 large scale battle with a bunch of human/Turian/Salarian soldier's fighting Collector's/Geth/Other
- Spaceship combat. Seriously I was waiting for it throughout the game to take control of the ship and use my new Thanix cannon to blow up some pirates, near the end I was wondering why could I upgrade the armor, shield's, guns ect. if I never even get to fight with the ship. Then I saw the cutscene and was disappointed. Though it was cool.
- >>>Ability to tell EDI not to touch the IFF until you give the word. That way you can actually do some missions with Legion and<<<not have your entire crew get turned to goo.
- Retexturing of Miranda's face to make it a bit less Michael Jacksony and Mannish.
- More armor, also be able to select individual set pieces to mix and match. Inferno legs, Terminus shoulders, Blood Dragon Arms, N7 Torso.
- I play a mixed alignment, which gimps my character sometimes. I don't like playing completely renagade or completely Paragon. I play more along the dialouge choices I would pick. But if I do that in Mass Effect then it screw me later and I forced to shoot Wrex or get Tali/Legion pissed off. Not really sure how to fix this... Currently I just cheat to max out both about halfway through the game
- Updating of the "investigate" branches of all characters, Joker, EDI, Chakwas, Donnelly/Gabby, Kelly. It was a dissappointment of mine in ME1 that they were the same throughout the game. The only dynamic one is Joker's squad one where he makes different commont's depending on who you take with you.
- Alternate outfit's actually different and not just recolors.
- More character creation options and hairstyles. better eye's especially. ME2 is your story so I don't like using the default face, making a unique one that doesn't look weird can be hard.

I want the ability to bring more party members on missions. Having only 2 annoyed me in the first game and i wasn't happy to see it in ME 2 either.
Its going to be the 3rd game in the trilogy that will supposedly conclude all the tie-ins lead from the first 2 games. That means more enemies and tougher enemies. Makes sense if we can bring along 4 party members instead of just 2, at the very least 3.
Also more party recruitable party members! I loved having 11 in ME 2! Even Moar next tiem pls!
Finally to be able to take EVERY....yes EVERY party member in the final confrontation.
TL:DR = More people in your party during quests. Preferably 4!
