1) Include an option to make a QUICK character creation. No more compulsory videos, pre-story etc.
2) Ammo... heat clips should "upgrade" your weapons so no more overheating occurs. When no more heat-clips are present, the weapons should still be usable, but overheat faster than in ME1. Not changing one's universe DOES matter.
3) More equipment diversity and customization, enemies should drop weapons. Make bosses lootable!
4) Customisable class after first playthrough, more surprises in character developement (skill tree would be nice)
5) Choices not only for Paragon/Renegade, but also real different in-game consequences. Include more stuff like the prisoner in Purgatory, make it even more personal.
6) Include option to skip the hacks
7) Check out indie game "Zeno Clash" for both artwork and combat - get inspired!!!
8) As a male player, I prefer watching a female butt over a male butt for 20-40 hours, but I still want to romance females. Times are changing, Bioware is the vanguard of the gaming industry regarding ******-romance, so be proud of that and stick with it.
9) Maps for missions
10) Scanning is tedious
11) Using powers makes one sniper zoom/aim - looks stupid and breaks combat fluidity
12) Say NO to global cooldown
13) Better keyboard/mouse layout for PC users, mapping powers to mouse buttons or other keys
14) movements in combat are sluggish, and movement near cover unpredictable (different buttons for running and cover as starters) Dodge moves would be nice as well.
15) corpses disappear after 5 seconds? Make this adjustable
16) Increase headshot damage, and tell us the multiplicator
17) warp explosion should work EVEN BETTER on a corpse trapped in pull/singularity
18) enemies should still fire during singularity, altough with decreased accuracy and severe recoil effects under zero G.
18) textures should never fall beneath a certain quality. Better here than in DAO.
19) XP for kills
20) I normally play mage characters, but shooting is easier & funnier than using powers, they miss, are slow and on higher difficulties less useful. Make powers "sleeker"
Other than that, great game with an ingenious story!!! Keep up the good work!

There are three main issues with ME2 -
1. The mining mini game is like watching paint dry. This is woeful game design considering how imprtant minerals are to your progression through the game. Watching a static screen and spinning planet is very boring Bioware, please consider another way to accumulate minerals for ME3. Was cruising around in the Mako that bad??
2. Where are the stats? For example it is not explained at all if there is a distinct difference between the various weapons in a category (eg. assault rifle category) considering that I am upgrading the whole assault rifle category in general. I assume the difference is cosmetic? There are subtle differences I have noticed between a collector and human rifle for instance but at least some very basic stats would give the player some info to make an informed choice with weapon - not only in amongst a weapon category intself but between categories also. This is an RPG and there still needs to be some stats.
3. The dedication from Bioware to continue releasing DLC is to be commended. However, as most people (myself included) have played through the game 3 times already there is no particular incentive to start up a new game just to see what new character or star system you have added. The content you add is not going to change the story that dramatically. This content should have been made available in the first week after release OR PUT ONTO THE DISK.

- more depth to characters: I found Alenko's story in ME1 to have a lot more depth than all character stories in ME2;
- larger areas to explore: missions take place in very small and constrained areas, not very exciting; I found missions in ME1 a lot better than enything in ME2 - take the Citadel, Feros and Noveria as examples;
- I would expect more influence from your ME1 romantic interest: it doesn't make sense that Shepard and his romantic interest find it so easy to just get over it and not to have any involvement at all in ME2; a photo in the captain's quarters is not quite enough;
- DON'T turn this game into a FPS! It doesn't stand a chance against true FPS games so you're just going to kill it! While I appreciate the excellent tactical enhancements, it gives you a very strong feel of FPS. And to be honest, there are FPSs out there with A LOT larger areas to explore and with a lot more nonlinear stories than ME2. Also, from a pure RPG point of view, ME2 stands no chance against the likes of Fallout 3. So what we have in ME2 is an odd mixture between and FPS and an RPG and which is not particularly strong in either one of the two.

Some kind of Manko. attacking some Pirate Bases...
Step One. You found them trough a Planet Scan. (Quest or Random Hit).
Step Two Land near them with the Manko
Step Three Use the Manko to Inflirate the Base
Step Four Have some Fun inside the Base
Oh, it was in BuildIn in ME1 xD.. I miss that in ME2
The Planets in ME2 are just empty "Info text", with no Life. Here and there some Action. but not enough like in ME1
It's the OutBorders. Where's the Pirates?
It's no fun if only the Mercs are the bad Guys... Only one Mission with this Rocket...
Well, enough for now

1. More space battles. There were none in ME2 in my opinion. Some might disagree but I don't think that one ship vs. another ship is a space battle like attack on the Citadel.
2. Be able to save anywhere and anytime. It is getting really annoying when you die in a long fight and then start over. Please!!! Fix this.
3. Be able to recruit everyone in the beginning, like in ME1.
4. Make Mass Effect 3 more RPG-ish not mostly shooter based game, because I liked RPG elements in the first game.

- A suggestion for the 'Tutorial' level. One game I played a while back had an interesting take on it. Your character was supposed to evaluate a Flight Instructor, and grade how well she did when training new pilots. Immersion wise, it would make sense for Shepard to be, perhaps, evaluating a Cerberus Training Program or something. (The game in question was Tachyon: The Fringe, for those who are curious)
- An appearance from Admiral Bishop-From-Aliens
- More stuff to fiddle with on the Normandy, assuming this one survives the next game, of course.
- The President of the Systems Alliance, played by BRIAN BLESSED! at the ending cut scene.
- Reintroduce Grenades. They were incredibly useful, and their absence in ME2 is somewhat immersion breaking.
- On the topic of features, perhaps combine ME1 and ME2's ammo systems. In this case, use the method from ME1 by default, but include Heat Sinks for rapid cool down when the gun overheats. To make players sue this, throw more enemies at us, or make the weapons less thermally effective as they do more damage.
- Unique Weapons for Party members, perhaps as Rewards for completing there unquestionably included personal missions.

bring up while I had the chance. Therefore, I will try to point out what I liked, and then what/how I think it needs to be changed/imporved:
- RPG Elements: ME1 was great, and ME2 was different, but not too bad. I do miss some of the looting, but I can survive without it. I feel what should have stayed though is the leveling up system. There just isn’t enough stuff to customize for my character, and I feel that he’s not getting what he needs.
- Biotics: Really lost a lot of power in ME2, please bring back bad***-ness for biotics in ME3
- Normandy/Space Combat: Great job, BioWare, in pointing out that a larger space vessel won’t be able to land and re-launch from a planet’s surface to achieve Escape Velocity easily enough. I think that we still need to "set the Normandy through its paces", I feel as if we still haven't used it to its full potential. Also, I would love to have a
pirate raid, or something in which we actually have to FIGHT aboard the Normandy. Now don't get me wrong, I did like the little bit where
, but I would really love to be able to defend/take back the Normandy from
another force as Shepard
- Upgrading Normandy: Stretch it out more, don't have it just be something that you can just research, have it more like the plot for a SciFi episode where they have to have this whole quest to find this rare (ancient) and vital piece of technology to integrate into their own ship... a "Quest for the Holy Grail" type mission. And make it more vital to the end result(s) of the game. This would work very well with the Reaper technology element of the Mass Effect universe.
- Vehicle: Yes the Mako needed work, but— IT NEEDED WORK, NOT DELETION. The Kodiak I think is a cool idea— IF I COULD ACTUALLY DRIVE IT— WITH WEAPONS MOUNTED ON IT. Seriously, BioWare should really
vamp out the vehicle, bring the concept back, and really make it good. Whether it’s the Mako, or the Kodiak, or something like it, I don’t care, it just needs to come back. The important thing is to make sure that it takes a vital role in the actual gameplay (like the Warthog in Halo); Virmire and Ilos are perfect examples of the Mako blending seamlessly with the main gameplay, and specifically the main story… what made the Mako so hated was that it was the only thing to use for the endless, boring, stretched-out exploration of barren planets with very steep mountains blocking everything. Personally, I would like to be able to pilot the Kodiak, and equip it with weapons, or some other air/ground vehicle, and have a mission where I actually have to drop off individual teams in designated Landing Zones (think Black Hawk attack) and we launch a strike against whatever using this strategy… while blasting enemies away with the big guns on my way to the final LZ where I get off to join the
fight on foot
- Cover: Much better... just needs to be a little more—smoother (especially coming out of it).
- Teammates: No real strategy in deciding who's on your squad. ME1 I was a Soldier, and I always had Liara and Tali to have all three aspects at full strength, but with ME2 it's all dependant on their special powers... or just who I like. Need more ability to instruct team members (like in KotoR). Also, I would like to be able to swap between squads during a mission, (like Shepard goes with two, and Garrus goes with two, and the player will get to a checkpoint with Shepard, and then switch to control over Garrus to his checkpoint, and then back again… this would go well with that “Black Hawk” mission that I talked about
- Hacking/Bypassing: Much better, far more realistic (and not too realistic, like Oblivion), and I love that I don’t
need a tech in order to bypass it, as this gives me more freedom to chose who I actually want on my team. The only thing I hate is the “one-shot or fail” feature about it.
- Credits: Seriously, this is a real problem where BioWare went too far in deleting something. If there was anyone who was honestly complaining about having “too much money” in ME1, they should be slapped senseless… there’s no such thing as “too much money”… if you really feel that way, go Paragon, and start giving money out to charity. There is seriously not enough credits to go around in ME2, and a lot of those credits
needs to be brought back for ME3.
- Items/Equipment: ME2 did a good job in reducing the redundancy of the weapons, but BioWare went too far and eliminated too much for the final product; which is the main problem that BioWare repeated over and over again with nearly every change that they made from 1 to 2. The upgrades were more of a nuisance as they were so hard to get (with the abundant requirement of resources to apply them) and I felt as if I had to get every single upgrade in order to succeed in the Final Mission. The research concept I felt was a nice touch, but it shouldn’t be for most of the upgrades, just the really big ones (like ones that affect the story… i.e. Mordin’s defensive measure against the swarms). The big problem I had was that when I bought something, if later realized that what I already had was what I wanted the most, then I couldn’t sell that useless item/upgrade. If ME3 allows us to sell items, I would like to be able to compare the different offers that different stores will give me for any one item (like instead of going to Omega, getting an offer, and then going to Illium, I can just compare Illium’s price in the same screen as Omega… provided that I’ve already visited that store).
- Weapons: Shotgun needs to be a lot more powerful... enough that I would feel confident charging waves of zombies with it. The pistol could use a tad more punch, but normally it would be fine... if we had unlimited ammo. Seriously, ammo was a bad idea for the pistol, especially with such a small clip (standard civilian equivalents to modern day military/police handguns are 10 rounds, while the military/police is 15, so what's with the 6 for the handcannon?) I haven't played a class with the SMG yet, so I don't know how good/bad that is, but the Vindicator Assault Rifle sucks. Also, I would like to see dual-wielding of pistols (and maybe SMG’s) for Thane/assassins and the Soldier class.
- Resources: Semi-good in concept, it’s just acquiring them is a real pain, both on time, and credits. It costs a lot of credits to go anyway, not to mention scan and collect any resources that I need for my upgrades. Having Shepard scan for resources on his own has a couple of technical flaws, one is specifically pointed out in the game: on all the missions, Shepard always picks up “Refined” minerals, while he scans for “Raw” minerals. Seriously, it would be more logical for him to buy large quantities refined minerals than to find, dig, extract, process, refine, and then utilize for his upgrades. For a mission/side-quest, you should have him attempt to broker deals with miners/mining companies/quarries or some entity to purchase the large quantities of refined and ready to use material. You could even have it that each individual organization can’t supply Shepard with the full amount requested, so the player must find multiple companies to acquire the material from. BioWare could also have some mines contain “purer” ore than others, which would make the refined material more expensive (due to the higher demand) forcing the player to spread his sources for the needed material… the player may even have to defend the mines/quarries from Merc Bands/Pirates and the like. This will greatly help in expanding the universe and the different worlds. One thing is for certain: ME3 as a whole should be less reliant on resources than ME2 is. It’s just too much of a hassle to utilize on the player’s basic assets (personal weapons) all the time.
- END MISSION TRANSIT: A small thing, but I didn't like how I couldn't leave the room without being forced back to the ship (especially when I was trying to pick up ammo). It was an improvement to running all the way back to the ship, so I won't complain. I think a good compromise would be to enable a button or menu option to activate the immediate transit once the mission has been completed (like in KotOR), but allow us to continue to "explore" other rooms/places... also include this feature for the transits that don't quite go back to the Normandy (Samara's mission).
- Citadel and other old "faces/places": I miss the Presidium and several of the old faces there... I was looking forward to seeing the Consort and others respond to Shepard's return from the dead (instead of reading it in an email) and I would have LOVED to give Emily Wong an Exclusive interview. Along with the Presidium, the Citadel is freaking huge, and I would LOVE to see more of it... especially some of the parts that the public aren’t allowed access to (like the infrastructure… apparently called the core and “Foundations”).
- Earth: PLEASE let us land on Earth in ME3. And finally meet Admiral Hackett face-to-face. Possibly have Shepard need to convince the Alliance heads of the Reaper threat, and to join the fight.
- Mission Planets: NEED MORE!!!! NEED LOTS MORE!!! Like make Illium and Omega longer, and then add more planets of that depth. Also: What's with all the sunny planets? Need more inclement weather to be both realistic, and varied... I would include planets where it is currently night when you arrive. Noveria having a snowstorm, and the rain on the planet with the Biotics test-site was a nice touch, but a lot more I felt was needed in ME2. And we need some more space stations. The other alien homeworlds would be nice as well.
- Exploration/Unexplored World Side Missions: I actually went to ME Wiki to find all the N7 missions… BECAUSE IT COST SO BLOODY MUCH GO EXPLORING… AND CREDITS ARE SO HARD TO COME BY!!!!!
- Team Characters: Please allow us to have all of our team from ME1 and ME2 as party members in ME3. Also, I feel as if BioWare really didn't develop the new characters (especially Miranda) anywhere near what they should be (she goes from wanting to put a control chip in your head, to trusting you enough to tell you about
, with literally now development in between). Tali again seems to have the most to say about anything, this is a problem b/c we already know (and love/hate) her from ME1 (I would be classified as loving her). Yes I understand that Tali, Liara and Wrex had a lot of exposition about their respective races, but even Garrus had more to talk about in ME1 than almost everybody new in ME2... and Thane really didn't go into much detail about the Drells. As a result, I really didn't feel as close to them by the end of the game as I did with the ME1 crew right after I wrapped up their backstories and side-quests. I saw the ME1 crew as my friends, but I could never feel the same about any of my new team outside of Mordin, EDI, and Thane. Due to that, I don't believe there's much room for very many new
characters (maybe a few... like 3 or 4). Have more missions that are connected to our party members. I would like to have a Volus on the team, along with a Batarian, and a Vorcha might be interesting; I'm not sure if we could add an Elcor to the party, but if BioWare can... AND BRING BACK LIARA!!!!
- Choices: They seemed to be a lot bigger in ME1... It seemed like there wasn't as many really important decisions in ME2. Someone mentioned decisions b/w Alliance and Cerberus, and I like that idea.
- Love Interest: More personal interaction (a romantic dinner with Liara). Closure. Have your LI development be connected with at least one mission, that could lead to a very interesting choice (kind of like Ash vs. Kaiden). Also, we should have more control of exactly where our relationships stand with our multiple LI's... For example: I love Liara and I want to be with her, I love Tali as a sister, I view Ash as a fellow team-member, Miranda as a potential friend (if she would ever improve on her views concerning Cerberus), Kelly as any NPC on the Citadel/Feros Omega/etc, Jack as a neutral story character that I would like to help where I can if she'd let me, and Samara is incredibly distant. I would like to be able to communicate/interact with these different levels of a relationship in-game (especially the difference b/w Liara, Tali, and Miranda). Why isn't the LI from ME1 more responsive to you being alive?
- Nudity: Normally I wouldn't mention something like this, but ME has an M rating... might as well have better sex scenes... (Titanic had more "content" than ME1). Seriously BioWare, if you’re going out of your way to make a video game that would get an “R” rating if it was a film, then you shouldn’t be cowering in the corner if some mis-informed spokeswoman comes out in a tizzy. Anyone who would agree with the instigator of the uproar surrounding ME’s initial reputation, wouldn’t be the type of person to buy an “M” game in the first place, so you aren’t losing any of your potential market, in fact of those individuals who would normally buy an “M” game, but who wouldn’t be that interested in an RPG, would actually want to play the game if it was promising a hot sex scene… with boobs and whatnot.
- Crew Favors: I liked where you could get the food, brandy, and couplings for your crew, and I would like to see a lot more of that in ME3
- Illusive Man/Shadow Broker: Wrap things up with them, please make a mission for each where we can actually confront them individually face-to-face.
- Give us the choice to work for Alliance/Council/Specter/Free-Lance/Cerberus/Other/All, and give us a salary from our employers on top of the credits that we already get in-game.
- Quarian Physiology: BioWare, why don't you let us find out what the quarians look like... at the very least, let us see Tali's face.
- Rachni/Allies: For those of us who favored the Rachni, I would like to actually be able to meet up with the queen in ME3
- Varren pet: I liked Urz… though I would like to be able to bring him back to the ship
- Darkness/Tragedy: Bring it up, need to see more personal tragedy and sorrow that's actually connected to the Player. Please don't like kill off a LI, but have like Joker, or Anderson sacrifice themselves to save Shepard/Team/Normandy/Crew.
- Continuation: Personally I would like to see more of the series, or at least more ME games (even if it's not part of the Shepard/Reaper story-arc). However, I know that one very easy way to kill a series is to push it beyond its natural life, so I want BioWare to be smart about this, but I want to make it known that more "playable products"
from the ME Universe would be most appreciated by the fans
- Final Chapter: BEEF IT UP, BEEF IT UP, BEEF IT UP!!!!!!!!! I don't care if it means that we have to wait 4 or 5 years for ME3, or if it’s 25 dics, if it means that we will have a bigger and better game. ME1 was great, ME2 was okay... for a chapter, the problem is ME2 was WAY TOO SHORT for us to have an efficient trilogy, w/o ME3 being one HUGE beast of a game... like the size ME1 combined with ME2, and doubled. If you (BioWare) are seriously going to limit this to a trilogy, then you have to make a whole lot of stuff to really give the story its due. Personally, I don't feel that I will be getting enough of Shepard with only these 3 games. It seems as if BioWare did their normal genius for ME1, but were trying too hard to pull in a much larger audience for ME2, causing the story and characters to suffer to the point that we need at least 2 more "episodes" to complete this story.
- Soundtrack: Not as many good songs as ME1, but the final few epic songs, along with the greater use of symphonics, almost came close to making up for that.
- EPIC EPIC EPIC: NEEDS TO BE BIGGER, AND TOTALY BUFF.
"Punch the Tuchanka Medical Monkey!!!" Awesome

- Never any controllable space battles. Cut scenes are welcome.
- More party banter. Dragon Age had excellent party banter - I'd like the same for ME3.
- Dragon Age's character customization. Seriously.
- More costumes.
- More armor.
- No Inventory. I liked not having to Omnigel everything i picked up.
- More guns, however. With differing functions, not just the "3 shot assault rifle" and "automatic assault rifle."
- Specialties for each class. In this regard, i'm referring to the weapons. Weapon users got their choice of Unique weapons at a point in the game, or access to another weapon type. Extend this to include unique powers to the biotic/tech classes as well.
- Legion and EDI merging =P
- Explanations. Who is the Illusive Man? Why is Udina a ****** to everyone? Is the Council REALLY that ignorant? Who is the Shadow Broker? Who built the Reapers? Etc etc.
- Length. If ME3 is the finality to this trilogy, I'd expect many, many, many hours of gameplay. I'd expect at minimum, a 30 hour main storyline with more than that in side-stories.
- Randomness. Fallout 3 is a great example of a game that has many elements, events, and such that change or can occur randomly. It makes each playthrough feel fresh. Add something like this.
- Better henchmen AI. At points in the game, my henchmen would sit behind cover for minutes at a time and i'd do all the damage.
- Better henchmen damage. They're using the same guns as you, and the same powers. Why do they do less damage?
- Less focused enemy AI. It seems that all enemies will primarily focus Shepard, at all times, no matter what. Why?
- A better resource-collection system. Scanning was unique and interesting, but became fairly boring. In contrast, getting out on a planet with the MAKO was the same, but became boring as well. However, while on foot you'd run into scavengers and wild types to kill - i liked this. Perhaps a compromise between the two, or perhaps both? Allow you to scan for minerals and points of interest to deploy to and explore? This would be a great spot to add a ton of random events.
- As someone said before - levelled enemies. I love that the game stayed well-balanced throughout. I would agree that perhaps there should be certain bosses that are +2, +3, +4 relative to your level... but they'd need to make sense. A named Turian can't necessarily be more daunting than you. It'd have to be things like Thresher Maws, or some absurd Reaper contructs.

As for what I want to see:
Some sort of planet exploration system beyond probing
More interaction between party members
A more dynamic loyalty system
Lose Paragon and Renegade: each character should judge you individually based on their own moral compass. There could be a "reputation" system for persuade and intimidate options for minor characters.
Customizable weapons and more customizable armor for self and party. I like the interchangeable parts and paint system though, don't go back to the ME1 system
Lose little incremental upgrades like "Shotgun Damage 3/5" Leveling, skill tree, and equipment should decide everything
A MMO style skill tree replacing the current one (ala WoW), It would give more personalized customization options but I think would also be more clear and defined for players
A little bit of text indicating what a Paragon or Renegade interrupt would do. I want to know whether I'd shoot the guy or just headbutt him. Same with speaking, in ME1 I just wanted to tell Udina he was an ass and my character ending up flaunting his ego and threatening him...

-Squadmates talking to each other like in Dragon Age
-Purchaseable casual wear. Was there any in ME2?
-I'd like to see a vehicle level in an inhabited city. Maybe an aircar chase.
-The reocurring characters from the first two games (Tali and Garrus) returning for the third.
-Customizeable ship appearance
-Bounty boards like in DA
-the evolution of an existing romance as well as the possibility of a new one.

This please. Very much. Persuade skill independent of morality. The choices you make should determine your morality rating, not the other way around.
And for god's sake bring back neutral dialogue choices that don't simply move a conversation along. If I wan't to be skeptical, cynical even, I should be able to be. Maybe I don't care to be a saint that is so nice he seems like a pushover, or a super-douche that walks all over everybody and causes a ruckus. Give me a chance to be a little cautious as to believing the story of a person I just met in the middle of a firefight or something to that effect.

- Less focused enemy AI. It seems that all enemies will primarily focus Shepard, at all times, no matter what. Why?
Agreed. Answers are good things.
ME3 is the finale. It really, really ought to be big and awesome. But not only that, but it should make with the sense-making. I hate it when things look nice but then you think about it and go, "W...wait... that didn't make any sense!" Also, I know BioWare doesn't have this issue, but I figure I'd throw it out there just in case... Deus Ex Machinas are not appreciated.
Conclusion Text-Boxes are a no-no. RPGs are good mediums for a story and that requires text, but make use of the visual elements and cut-scene tools available to you. If the conclusion tells me that Party Member B found his long-lost brother, a cutscene can tell me that just as well as a text box can, and it's more emotional.
A big of randomness in encounters would be great, yes. Some things should even bank on Shepard's history (though, as I said in my previous post, I don't want to have to go through ME1 and 2 in order to see just one or two things change, so a fresh Shepard should be possible without being forced into the worst possible arrangement - dialogue choices to determine the effects of ME1 and 2 for New Sheps, etc.).
If I'm sniping and moving around under cover, as I am wont to do...unless enemies have x-ray goggles (and I'm convinced they do in ME2), there's no reason for them to know where I am.
Shepard should not slam into a crate or a wall in order to get into cover, though I loved the mechanic in ME2...just needs to be made a little smoother.
Something also just occurred to me... I board a lot of ships... how come no one pulls me over in space unless it's a Collector ship on an intercept trajectory seeking to blow me out of the sky? The Normandy is as much a vehicle for random events as it is a vehicle to get me to different planets. Random events on the ship also count, like... the NPCs playing a card game and joking around or blaming Legion that he's cheating or whatever.
