4) In a related note, in synonymity with Sheperds Persuassion skill, each character could have a non combat skill that requires upgrading to produce some reward for the player, as well as function as a boon to either Paragon or Renegage point gaining via additional persuassive or initmidating commentary. Mordin's non-combat skill would have been lab work, which would have affected, perhaps, the price of upgrades. Liara's non combat skill might have been reasearch to open up additional side missions like the one from her in ME2 to gain exp and rewardage. Jacob might have cheapened weapons upgrades, while Miranda could open up, I dunno, additonal 'secret' areas of the ship (recycling area, for instance). More meaningful customization is nice, imho.

Wow, that would be really cool. Like an upgrade skill that gives a bonus to your weapons when inventested in, ship-vehicle hit points, a skip hack option, samara could fly (hehehe, well maybe not), an ability that reduces the resources needed for upgrades, or better calibrated ship cannons.

I really like that idea, since there are so many characters there is redundancy anyway.  This would give a means to differentiate them.

*edit:  I would like to add that the pursuade intimidate options are missing.  The way it is now if you dont choose every paragon or renegade choice you have it limits options. Before you invested in skills that had a connection to the points, it punished you less for striving for good goals while not taking any crap from NPCs.  Now the paragon is pretty pansy at times, and the renegade pretty abomniable.

Seriously, I would love to have in ME3 a flashback, a dream or whatever showing the moment that made Shepard who he/she is. We heard a little what happened to Shepard the Hero, the Sole Survivor or the Ruthless but I would like to see it or play through it and answer those question.

*How did Shepard survived when everyone else was killed by the Thresher Maw?
*How did Shepard the Hero held out alone against the Batarian slavers?
*How did Shepard the Ruthless ordered many soldiers to their deaths to beat the Batarian pirates?

Thank you, I agree that sometimes neither Paragon nor Renegade is appealing, and they should be, in their own right. They should both be "different kinds of cool," and not be so easily described as "mealy mouthed" or "Crude."  Renegade lines and actions should make you think of Jack Bauer, King Leonidas and Batman. Paragon lines and actions should make you think of and Captain Picard, Maximus Decimus Meridius and Superman.

Jack shouldn't be able to say "you sound like a p**sy" and be right. Let Sheperd be "the man" (or "the woman") regardless of which path he chooses.

Was anyone else disappointed that we didn't get to fight in the rain? At the beginning of Jack' loyalty quest I got all excited b/c it was raining and it looked AWESOME. I really wanted to fight in it, but alas we were herded inside and I could only watch the raindrops fall on the windows. While I'm sure there are probably technical reasons why there were no fight sequences in the rain it would have been sweet. If at all possible I like to have a battle in the rain in ME3. An odd request I know, but I thought I would throw it out there.

Making Shepard go insane during a mission onboard a reaper would be pretty awesome. The best example I can think of must be Dead Space. Maybe if you'd board another reaper and you'd see these gray things jump out of the wall like those two researchers did on the IFF mission.
Feros was kind of creepy, the first Mass Effect was pretty creepy overall. Please make the most of it and scare the sh!t out of us in the third one.

My wants

1. More damage in cover, less damage out of cover...

2. Some of the 'renegade' or 'paragon' speech options i think are kind of arbitrary in ME2, need to be less definitive with some of these options.

3. I don't want to have to be pigeon holed into picking renegade or paragon everytime in a playthrough in order to max my persuade stat-make it a separate skill.

4. While i think bioware are tempted to write off killable characters from me 1 and 2 to cameos in me3, i think the party makeup should be about 50-60% returning party members, rest new. It is refreshing to see new characters (+ good for new players) but in the finale of the series we are gonna want familiar faces.

5. I want more "too many people died here today...you don't get to just walk away"...'bang'... moments.

6. Major sidequests dealing with tracking down the shadow broker, eliminating or supporting cerberus

7. Planet scanning = boring! Can't be that hard to think of a less monotonous minigame...

8. Prefer party banter ala dragon age to click on area for party member thoughts

9. More citadel

10. Remove end mission screen

11. Toggle helmets on/off

SELL OR TRADE MINERALS FOR CASH

When so much of the gameplay is based around mining outpost etc etc seems a bit daft you cant flog all the mats you spend sooo much time gathering when what you could really do with is a bucket load more cash to spend on fancy do dadds and nick nacs ( sorry for being a so technicail here LOL)

REPLENISH THE STORES

Just for the sake of reality - come on - you buy everything in the store and for the whole game the merchant has nothing left ? - he's be out of business in 2 minutes ( and that elephant dude shop keeper probably needs to eat a fair bit)

LET ME TAKE OFF MY HELMET
Come on - it so hot in here - i'm running around shooting baddies and i cant even have a breath of fresh air - 'nuff said.

Hi,

My wish :

1) longer,

2) to have the crew of ME1 and ME2 both (and to have the opportunity to continue the romance with Liara, Ash or Kaidan...);

3) the biggest space battle we've never seen;

4) a lot of planets;

5) more RPG, more action;

6) a lot of things but I have no time to detail.... ;)))

To be able to name my saves would be nice.

I like having no inventory system.

To able to sell unused resources. Money was tight for most of the game.

I just beat the game for the first time so I'm on a high!

IT WAS AWESOME!!!

FPS option during battles.  When you draw your gun it switches to FPS. :)
Optional only.

I would very much like to see physical interaction with random people.

You can bump into them or push them out of your way.

Even something as simple as groping someone or stealing from them.

I want to see Garrus and Tali have big roles again, that's all I really care about haha. Earth would be nice though, and maybe a larger Citadel (it was weirdly small in ME2.) The way 2 was streamlined was good, I don't really want the inventory back, OR the Mako for that matter. If a Mako-like vehicle is in 3 maybe make it the shuttle, and you can just fly/hover it around. Also more character customization plz! More mix and match armor pieces, that was great, or more customizable armor types overall. It'd also be nice to update the face of our imported Shepards rather than having to revert to a custom preset if we want to make some slight changes.

And how about the ability to jump!?

A note that was brought up was that ambushes were easily spotted because of the chest high cover. I think we should have deployable cover in ME3, that last for a limited amount of time.

I'm pretty sure that there's more than enough specified (*cough* MORE TALI!!!!!!!!!!!) suggestions here, so I'll just go with a request for MORE everything. Longer, deeper missions. Larger places to explore (like the Citadel, let us pester more ambassadors and councilors so we can see Turian air quotes in person), with more stuff tucked away in every nook and cranny. Maybe consider the vehicle segment/inventory system's return within moderation... Not too much.

I was immensely satisfied with ME2. It brought back everything I loved about ME1 and mercifully lightened the cumbersome load of issues I had by compacting the game's delivery into a wholly appropriate, action movie feel akin to a western showdown. If you guys can keep making stuff of this caliber, I promise you that you'll have a customer for life. Thanks again, for everything.

Don't forget to add more Tali.

I wish they could improve face animations for Shepard and old characters from ME1 (I can't name them - no spoilers). I mean animation and expressions are still good, but the new squadmates and asari people on Illium actually have more realistic face expressions than Shepard himself and some NPCs from ME1. For example Samara has really nuanced mimic and during conversations I was enjoying her much more than my Shepard. I know, that's really hard to make good mimic expressions for Shepard since his face is fully customizable, but at least they could try in ME3.

Also I'd like:

1)More options for armor and weapon customization, but in an appropriate way. Carrying 5 different armors in invisble pockets was stupid, but if you buy such armor in a shop and they deliver goods to Normandy I think it's ok. And I want to change my squadmates armors. And customize weapons in some different ways than just damage/ammo clip/accuracy.

2)Helmet toggle on/off

3)More missions without a need to blow some ass off. There were some non-combat side quests and loyalty mssions but I was left craving for more.

4)I think it's may be pretty impossible but some upredictability would be welcome. For example Normandy is considered a safe place for the most part of the game but there were some situations which could be more tense if I knew that consequences would be really grave like Game Over grave. And if you could lose your squadmates during some side quests - that'd be cool too. More tension = more immersion, at least for me.

But anyway the game is fantastic. It's much better than ME2 in most of aspects (except some minor ones), but there's always room for inmprovement. Just finished my second walkthrough and hungry for more. BRING ON THE DLC!!

Mass Effect 1 and 2 are, hands down, one of the best games/story/rpg-esque experience i've played, on any system. I mean, there's a lot of great gaming experiences out there, but Commander Shepard's romp through space is unmatched, both in depth of the universe created by the fine people at Bioware (by the way, fan for life, i thought KOTOR had me hooked...) and the near-endless possibilities of play (Dragon Age is still at it's start...). That said, if i had to pick the better of the two games, i wouldn't know...

There was something enormous about ME1, the sense of a truly grand galaxy with multiple unknown planets just waiting for us to explore... And sometimes, i'd look around and find myself in the middle of a red-light bathed howling desert, with an immense blue planet coming up in the star-flecked horizon and i'd go WHOA!!! and stare at the screen for a couple of minutes...
ME2 lacks these WHOA moments, and yes, with all of its flaws, i think it was wrong to dump the mako. It should have been there, with polish. Better control, less aimlessness (or at least make it a choice, if you want to run around, do so, if not, follow the mission).

ME2 is a more polished effort, a better shooter, a less clunky inventory, better use of armor (love the DLC stuff, but i always end up with the N7 armor and upgrade it, i really liked it), great action sequences, great characters and character interaction, and the dialogue wheel system is better than ME1.
Also it gets rid of the same underground-mine-underground-facility-overground-facility-spaceship scenarios that made up all of ME1 sidequests.
But at times it looks too streamlined, rushed... Like the scene with Anderson\\Udina in the Citadel... just a blip, and it was gone... And you get to go to Omega and Illium and Tuchanka and many other places, but you can only play through a very tiny portion of what looks like ginormous worlds (the view of of omega and illium landscapes...)
As for the planet scanning, it's a good idea, with the anomalies and stuff, but i'm sorry, but it's just too boring, it has to be made less cumbersome...

ME3 should be, IMO, a mix between ME1 and ME2. Keep the sense of grandiose space opera of ME1 (with the exploration, the landscapes, a polished mako, guns, and just more space to run around) and the fast-paced action, item handling, much better dialogue of ME2, just put a little more RPG in the mix. Of course, that would lead up to a much bigger game... And there's nothing wrong about that. LONGER AND MORE, MORE, MORE! More Citadel, more planets, more races, more story, more Mass Effect...

Also, i'd like to see Tali without the damned suit, and CATFIGHT!!! Miranda vs Ash vs Jack vs Tali!!! That would be a sight to see... But that's just me...:devil:
