Well, after I finished off RtO, I expected the kind of armour and weapon that a king deserves... ok, the full armour its alright, NOT the best in my opinion, the king's sword, that really sucks, its on grade 5, and you cant sell and buy it again to see if it pops up another level, doesnt work. And his shield... thats the worst thing you can find on the DLC. Duncan's shield and Howe's shield are much better. The only weapons I think are good enought are Duncan's swords. I dont know, but after the 25 delay for this DLC, I was expecting not just a longer DLC, but also better items

I don't think they were gearing it to be replacement gear for old characters, which is strange I'll admit- seeing as how Alistair will comment about how long it's been and how old he feels. Even if you just immediately return there. I wish the gear was better too, the King's armor fits Alistair perfectly.

I upgraded all of the RtO equipment by selling it to the Warden's Keep armorsmith. Cost some gold but worked just fine.
