My "offical" Shepard will be staying faithful to Kaidan, but I did try out Thane and Garrus' romances (no interest in Jacob, sorry). Of the two I think I liked Garrus' best.

I was remaining faithful for my first-playthrough. Unfortunenately, my XBOX had to die on me before I could finish :(. After that, I decided to go with a PC, so it's all good :).

Being faithful is incredibly boring in this game. I've played it six times and haven't been faithful once. Sooner or later I'll have to create a faithful save for Ash but that's about it.

Replaying ME 1 just to go through it without a LI, and play ME 2 with Jack as my one and only.

So I'll be faithfull.

I hope Bioware allow us to have a happy ending for all the ME1 and ME2 romances, and maybe throw in one or two new ones.

My Shepard would be happy travelling the stars with Tali, or adopting a kid on the Quarian homeworld (assuming the geth relinquish it).

So really now, how can you be faithful if there is no one to be faithful to?
.

This, to cheat on someone BW would have actually had to include some sort of ongoing romance to begin with.  You can't cheat on someone you have no relationship with.

That said, I saved myself in case they ever add Liara back to the game in an xpac or ME3.  None of the ME2 romance options were compelling anyway.

That's because staying faithful means there is no romance, and considering how hard the try and force you into a romance just talking to people I found myself simply not talking to any of the crew on my Shep/Liara games.  Made things incredibly boring.

Faithful all the way with each version of Shepard I have. If one of my Shepards pursues a ME2 romance, I make very sure that they are not hooked up with anyone else first.

Most of my toons will remain faithful to Liara, but I may explore the other romances on brand new ME1/ME2 toons.

I've been a cheater so far, but I fear that I'm going to betray my new LI for someone else in ME3.

Damn you Bioware and your compelling character design!

I didn't, at least not with my female Shepard. Garrus was too awesome to say no, besides Kaidan practically dumps you in Horizon just like the Alliance, the Council and everybody else forgot about Shepard. Garrus is always loyal, he would never leave Shepard like that. I'm not cheating on ME3 though, not with my female Shepard though and I doubt I will cheat with any of my male Shepards either.

It does get pretty dull staying faithful, and it has cut down on my enjoyment of the game in a way, because I have no idea if staying faithful will have a satisfying payoff in the last game.

The only characters that would tempt me to cheat, though, are only available to male Shepards, or not romanceable.  Boo.

My main Shep stayed faithful to Ash. Those girls didn't really do anything for me. Why? Let's see:

Miranda-Cerebus lagdog with WAY too much of an ego. I love me some PAWGs but damn near every time Miranda opened her mouth I wanted to knock her down a peg. Jacob can have that b*#%^! On second thought, f#*^ that! Jacob's my boy, I'll hook him up Giana Parasini or something when we're gettin' loud spillin' drinks on the Citadel.

Jack-A super-criminal/uber-biotic with serious emotional issues, what could go wrong?

Samara-Merciless killer who happens to be on the side of good. Not bad enough on its own, but add the fact she's an older Asari who's had three kids and she's enough hardcore enough to kill them...no dice.

Tali-A girl with a sweet personality, engineering skills, dem hips, and she can use a shotgun. Unfortunately she could be the ultimate butterface, and even if she's a dime you might not get to fully enjoy her playground because of the health risks. There's so many potential roadblocks on this relationship road it'd take a Sovereign-sized miracle to make it work. If you love her let her go.

Kelly-Seems kinda ****ty.

My female Shepard is staying faithful to Liara. I'm indifferent to the existence of Jacob and Fish-owl, and I simply don't like Garrus that way.

My male Shepard is probably going to hook up with Miranda or something, I don't know. I'm eventually going to do another ME1 playthrough where I don't end up with anyone specifically for the purpose of hooking up with Tali.

Being faithful wasn't so much about it being boring as incredibly lonely in a way. The picture scene portrayed this very well. The ME2 LI's weren't my thing so I wasn't tempted to cheat in any way. I just missed Kaidan 'at my side' throughout the game, seeking him out after missions or hearing his comments and input while out in the field. It really took 'the heart' out of the game for me personally.

I have a "loyal" game planned out for when ME3 hits, but I'm certainly not going to deny myself the replability that different love interests brings and the implications that each hold for ME3. However, Ashley's letter felt genuine, so eh, we'll see if that becomes my "main."

Though, if I could only play ME2 once and that would be my ultimate import, I'd likely not be loyal as I'd want to squeeze as much out of my gameplay as I possibly could. And that does not entail staring at a picture. :P

My Shep stayed faithful to Kaidan. I may have been a little tempted by Thane and Garrus, but she was not. ;-)

Didn't get with any LIs from the first game, chose Tali instead
