Faithful? I didn't think we had anything committed going on.

Anyway one playthrough I am romancing Miranda and another I am staying with Ashley. I will then decide which one to import into ME3.

Actually, it took place over the course of a few months. Love can easily develop under the right circumstances within that time frame.

With all the talk they were doing about Karma I wonder if the cheating thing is going to bite some people in the butt...if maybe it will play more into the overall quest in ME3 than just a possible conflict between a ME1 LI and a ME2 LI. Like going renegade played havoc on Shep's face(if you didn't do the med-bay thing). There was really no reason to do that except that they wanted to.

I just hope they don't retcon my Shepard into having been involved with either Ashley or Liara in order to force some confrontation. The character I imported to ME2 didn't have any romance from the first game.

I think they kind of made it 'okay' for you to cheat with the way the LIs acted. My shep was a bit angry at Kaiden for a while.



I stayed faithful because Kaiden's relationship to my Shep was special for that character and none of the available LIs even came close to duplicating that.

stickin with Liara cuz well.... she sold herself to the devil and risked her own life in order to save you, plus the whole "I couldn't let you go line." is hearttugging enough

I was with Liara in the ME1 and I really really liked her character in ME1. 

ME2 -- she's changed a TON (too much IMO) and while I still care about her, she did not act how I would think a former lover would.

Also hope that in ME3 they don't leave you with just  black in white choices.  I.E. I sleep with a LI in ME2 and thier for don't have any feelings for Liara (cause I do).  It's sort of annoying that you can't put the picture back up for example.

How much is keeping us apart the story/game designers?  How much is it me moving on? 

It's hard to tell...

If I could have freed up Liara to join my party in ME2, I would have.  I would have then remained faithful...

But irl, I don't believe in long distance relationships... if you're apart for great amount of time -- esspecially doing dangerous missions which could end with you dying.   Would you really limit yourself from the *now*?  Would you really not explore other possibilties?

Hopefully they'll make ME3 intresting in that regards.  Maybe Miranda will be jelous, maybe I'll have to choose, etc, etc. 

At this point if i had to choose -- I'd still pick Liara.  

I suppose in the end, I do what others plan --  which is have a couple of save files one faithful and one not.

I'm surprised at how many people were down with the blueness.



First playthrough I'd been with Liara, but hooked up with Jack. I was a paragon people fixer. And it kind of weirded me out that Liara frenched me ASAP when she hadn't seen me in 2 years and probably thought I was a zombie.
