Hey everyone,

So this game looks great.  Absolutely fantastic. Except for NPC clothing.  I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to find it through the boards.  The textures look just terrible.  Here's a screenshot.

I'm using an EVGA GTX 280 as well if that helps, along with my wonderful Quad core processor and 8 gigs of RAM, so it should be no problem loading these textures.

Thanks

It is the actual textures themselves and not your PC...

Really?

That's pathetic. Thanks then.

Yea, I'm sure down the road sometime, someone will make higher textures...but as for now, it's not gonna look very good...

You would think that in this day and age that there would be higher resolution textures for the PC version. These look loke X360 ones blown up. Any chance of a fix/update Bioware??

It's just the way it is folks. It's not a 'fix' or 'update' needed issue.

I highly doubt there will be texture mods. The first game wasn't very mod friendly and I doubt this one will change that...

Yeah, it's a shame. I'm not sure why they did it because they have super high res textures in other places - for example, Miranda's face.

They do that because that is the first thing you look at, exp, her face, then in the background very low textures becasue you really don't look at that, it's just there. They put higher textures where the eye will see the most(if that makes sense).

Are you serious? I can't beleave they would release a game with textures this bad on the body, They are on par with sims 2.

Look at subject zero in my game, it looks like she is wearing a skin colored shirt with ink blot stains all over it.

Edit: Reading this back I sounded a bit angrier than I actually am, Just noting I really really love the game and this is the only thing that is hindering my experience so obviously it would be the point of most of my frustration

I have
6gb Ram
1gb VRam
2.5 Gh Quad Core Processor

I play on the highest setting with little to no lag

Well that's because you don't have your textures to max settings. Mine don't look like that and I have mine on max settings.

How do you change that setting, I don't see an option for it anywhere

edit: Ok got it fixed, my CCC was set to best performance and i switched it to optimal quality

I feel silly
