Anybody get that feeling? For some reason, I did...she said she's changed her name or appearance or something to that extent multiple times, and her history is a little secretive, not to mention how powerful she is taking out that Krogan patriarch...hmmm, interesting.

If anybody's wondering, it's that Asari that Wrex talked about fighting and how tough she was in ME1.

If Aleena is the asari that Wrex fought then yes it must be her. She talks about how she fought a powerful Krogan before

She has also mentioned a past as a mercenary, so it's not out-of-the-question. Aria is certainly one of the most interesting characters I've discovered in the series.

Before ME2 came out, people made stupid theories like Jack is Gilllian Grayson, Ashley's sister, Kaidan's girlfriend, that girl in I Remember Me and that she was in Major Kyle's cult. There was also theories that Samara is Liara's "father" and all kinds of stupid theories

Except, this one makes sense when all the others were pure speculation. They had nothing to go on, when this does.

If Aria hadn't specifically mentioned that she had had many names and had been a mercenary, I too would dismiss this as the kind of insane speculation that we see too often around here. However, she did, so this theory is actually plausable

All joking aside:

*Aria and Aleen are both mercenary Asari commandos. Which Shepard implies is very rare.
*Aria has pretty much the exact same sarcastic, flippant, violent, aggressive, sensible personality that Wrex has.
*Aria has had man names, and Patriarch isn't the first Krogan she's pissed off.
*...'Better luck next time.'

I'm almost certain its her. Its one thing to build up crazy theories, but this one holds a bit of weight;



- She's an Asari.

- She specifically mentions Patriarch is not the first Krogan she's pissed off.

- She specifically mentions she has a past as a commando mercenary, something Shepard in the first game mentions is unusual.

- She specifically mentions she has gone under many names.

- She's extremely vague about her past and wont go into any special details.

- She says something along the lines of "Sometimes its better to run away, than to kill".

- She uses the exact line Wrex got; "Better luck next time!"



It's all pretty obvious in my opinion. We'll never get confirmation, but I think its clear BioWare wrote her to at least give the impression it might be her. She's written in a way to make us think and ponder the possibility.

I've only played through once, so I can't remember 100% which Asari it is, but I think it's Aria... Anyways, said Asari says that her father was a Krogan, her mother was an Asari, the two of them fought and they're both still around.



So if it's Aria that says that, I'm pretty sure Aria is Wrex's and Aleena's daughter.

It'd be funny if she stayed on Omega, and Wrex was recruitable in ME3, and they ran into each other. I mean - she had to disappear, and Omega seems the perfect place to do it. Anyone got a time match when she arrived on Omega versus when she and Wrex had their thing? (I'm sure it doesn't give specifics, but I could be missing something.)



On a completely unrelated note, and entirely speculation from my hindsection, but I'm 100% positive that the Asari bartender on Ilium is Liara's "dad."

Ah yes, you are correct.    

That said, if the Matriarch bartender is Wrex and Aleena's daughter (she could easily be, both Krogan and Asari live incredibly long times), then it seems HIGHLY unlikely that Aria is Aleena, since Aria is a lot younger. She doesn't have that Matriarchical look to her face. (Botox FTW!)
