+1 to confirm this still exists in the current Steam version. Kinda silly, should be an easy fix.

The Steam version doesnt have any extra patches to it that the disk or EA versions are lacking. Bioware is not going to release a patch to deal with a single, non-game breaking issue like this.

Any patches they do release will be to deal with major issues, such as clipping, Kasumi's passive cooldown not working, Mattock rebalanced to work like the rest of the weapons under soldiers AR. Journal entries will be the last thing on their minds.

I do get a wry chuckle from your claim it to be an easy fix, yet you are asking if someone else knows how to do it.

I don't remember suggesting a patch for one fix, or saying anything about it being a high priority one. And I don't see how modifying a couple lines of code has any relation to hacking a save file.

Same issue it keeps saying I need to get the citadel package but its not there and I already scared off ish. It's more or less just an annoyance that I hope I can keep ignoring lol

Your best bet is to grab both packages before returning to Omega. Then, you have 3 options, give them to Ish (quest complete), give them to Anto (quest complete), or scare Ish off (quest incomplete in quest log).
If you have LotSB, I would suggest reading the dossier on Aria before making your decision, as it states that Aria has not found the second of SB's spies within her organisation, but I can't say for certain wether it is Anto or not. Thats for you to decide.

I got basically the same issue as OP. I picked up both packages, then talked to Ish and chose the paragon option before giving any packages to him. He got scared off and left and it seemed like I completed the quest, but it remains in my journal, even though I can't find Ish or anything anymore.

Did the quest today, picked up both packages - first Illium, then on the Citadel. I delivered them to him and used the paragon option. I got the XP and everything, and the journal main post says "Both packages have been delivered, and Ish has offered his thanks", but it remains open.

So one year later there is still no patch... Why can't developers release patches regularly when bugs are discovered? Just good-will you know?

Fortunately however, I managed to solve it by reloading the "restart latest mission"-autosave so I can start off from right before delivering the packages

I just ran into this myself and google searched my way here.

Luckily I read Hagroth93's post above mine and reloaded as he did. I decided to turn in the with both packages to Anto. I still did paragon and the quest is complete and successfully cleared from my list. Thanks dude.

I still would like to have this patched though. I feel that the game plays out differently now since the outcome was different.
