I was JUST having INSANE amounts of pain on this part. (On Insanity)
Im running it as an Engineer and I was using Garrus and Miranda as squadies, but their powers load back SO SLOW its retarted. And yes the HUSKS seem to be the biggest problem, im not worried about the Scions other then them putting me in the red now and then, but only when the husks finally manage to mob me have i died. Not to mention no matter how i try the squadies either get mobbed by the husks or killed by the scions. Such a pain.

The fighting doesn't start until you reach the bottom of the stairs, but if you zoom in on a sniper rifle, you can actually see a small part of the two scions.
What I did was just send my squad mates (Miranda and Grunt) as far forward as I could towards the scions. Since I hadn't crossed the bottom of the stairs they didn't attack but Grunt shot at them. I couldn't push Miranda that far forward, she kept getting stuck at cover but I used her biotics by zooming in on the rifle and hitting RB whilst zoomed in, since some/all? squadmates abilities seem to work depending on your own line of vision not theirs.
Obviously you can't see the health bar but they will die eventually (scions take ages on insanity anyway). If you want proof just shoot them a couple of times then run in and you'll see the health bar has reduced. Also, I don't know how effective this would be without a sniper, since it would be hard to position squadmates and you wouldn't be able to see the scions yourself.
After killing them run in and therell be no husks so you can go straight up to the terminal.

That is actually viable information. No Necro-Lecture this time, though this would have deserved an own thread and not be buried in the depths of this one.
SO true... first time ever a necro is worth it

After that sprint back to the corner to the left of where you entered, sort of the other side of the map and far away from the remaining Scion. Keep backpeddeling and killing the husks that approach you while keeping your distance to the one Scion left (if you did not opt for heavy weapons and killing them both).
Once all the Husks are dead the last standing Scion can be dealt with in any way. This tactic works with any character with any allies with any skills. I have done it with all classes on insanity this way without using heavy weapons, pause or unity.

Don't forget Neural Shock. Probably the best 1 skill point power around. Instant stop for organics. Instant kill for husks (without defenses, of course). Very short cooldown period.
Throw works the same way (with husks).

Anyone know what are the next hardest missions? Collector Ship and Suicide Mission?

The hardest part is the Collector ship when the Preatorian attacks. Technically no cover, Huskd and Collectors attacks. Last time it was sucks or me, because I don't get the Collector particle beam. :S And I'm always use Pistols then any normal weapon. Anyway, if you play as Engineer you can spam them with Attack Drones.
