Guys, I'm still trying to figure out how to mod Ashley's armour. I can't find the actual texture in logging mode so I'm stumped at the first hurdle. Is it possible to even mod Ash's armour since she's a non-henchman NPC? I've seen plenty of other armour mods in this thread, but without that texture file I can't really do much.
why the hell would you want to do this? she's in a grand total of about 5 minutes of a 15 hour+ long game.

Because I'm making a movie for Youtube and given that I switched out the awful Phoenix armour pretty early in the first game for Onyx, it doesn't make sense for her to jump right back into her old armour at the very start of the game.
Really, by that logic, why is there a mod for changing the wood finish of the briefing room table? Why is there a mod for Normandy floor tiles? Mods don't have to be huge.

I just have one suggestions, for you all that have problems with c.ini file after update.
Use an application called Ultra Compare Pro, it's a fantastic tool for comparing changes in codes.
If you choose to use it. The best way for changes in c.ini files is just to use copy and paste from the backup file.

The only change that applies to c.ini (I assume you mean Coalesced.ini) are character based, i.e; it's checksum needs to be recalculated due to the amount of new or removed characters, nothing more. Other than that it is a simple text file with unix based end of line characters.

Seems like it would be pretty easy compared to some of the things you guys are doing. Great thread.

- Inge, well I must disagree with you.
Well it's a text file, yes.
But it seems like it does some changes in the coalesced.ini file when you get an upgrade of news from Cerberus Network. That is also my own experience. This is a tool that make things easy to do some changes in the file, if you already have an backup.
Well, personal I use Ultra Compare, Ultra Edit Studio and Visual Studio Express Editon and offcourse Notepad++, all this is good tool to use when editing and codeing.
All of these application dosen't break or empty your wallet..
Just som tip, it seems like many could use it..
