Taking my Shepard's original facial texture, I modded Sheploo's beard over it, keeping the skintone and other facial features identical to my original model. But when I load it up with Texmod, there's a distinct shininess which makes Shep look paler and greasier.

Considering I only modded the texture file, how is the beard affecting the entire head texture?

I tried these values myself and saw no evidence of level progression past 30.
Has anyone here gotten a level cap increase mod to work, and if so what values
did you put in?  I don't know if this has been asked already in this thread because
I haven't had time to read all 100+ pages


(The tools I used were ME2inifixer and notepad++)

It happened to me as well, but my account is slightly more complicated being an admin, I managed to sort it out, but still am unaware of what is causing it, I haven't changed any cookie settings or anything, maybe the servers SQL database is being attacked or something.

It could be that the forum software is a RC version, I have the gold version now so I'm working on updating that to current forum specs, all I can suggest for now is to create a new account.

Have you tried clearing all your browser cookies etc?

Read the full thread yesterday, and it got me really confused, so have a few questions.



Is it possible to add/remove a skill on a character? ex: I would like to remove cry blast and add tech armor to an engineer char



It is possible to add/remove new weapon types to a char? Not a specific weapon, but for instance give a sentinel Assault Rifle training? (Not talking about the collector ship here) and for instance remove the ability to use heavy weapons on an adept?

I've read about the lines you can add in the .ini file, but not found anything specific for this.

Oh and is it possible to modify the default weapons a class can use? (edit the .ini file outside game and not to anything ingame)



Would also suggest splitting a thread like this into two.

One part of graphical mods and on part for gameplay changes. It looks like a lot of people are only interested in one of them.

Great thread otherwise, just a bit hard to find the stuff you are looking for.

1. You cant change the skills yet. We figured they are stored inside the pcc files. So ini editing wont give you any results. sadly.

2. Of course you can edit the weapons a specific class can use. You can even edit the weapons your squadmates use. Give Jacob an Assault Rifel for instance, or add assault rifles to every player class. But you can only add a total number of 5 Weapon classes. If you have six classes, the last one in the list will not be available ingame. You can select it onboard the normandy, but cant switch to it during missions.:(

Just open the Coalesced.ini and search for
[SFXGame.SFXPlayerSquadLoadoutData] and edit the PlayerLoadoutinfo and HenchLoadoutinfo sections.
They are pretty selfexplaining.

No, but when you use it as fullbodyappearances it will use the voice when you have a helmet on <_<

You can add powers, you just need to add an entry for it in dynamicloading, and then use the add power command to give it to yourself, and then set rank command to give it whatever rank you like, works with evolved powers and even passive ones like assassin (slowdown on sniper scope).

Does anyone know if changing the colour of biotic powers (and Drone) is possible. Would be kind of cool with red biotics or Singularity looking like the Blackstorm Projector effect. Also, could one change the colour of Incinerate? Blue fire is awesome.

you have to use gibbed's editor and change the hair mesh to

Is there any mods or way to remove the conversation wheel and text that comes with it?  I do some Mass Effect machinimas for a friend, but on Mass Effect 2 the conversation wheel tends to come in the middle of talking sequences and clicking it off skips the rest.



EDIT:  Not necesarrily remove it, but make it invisible.

I'm having a little break from web design stuff and am getting back into actual modding for a bit now, see if I can help us get any further advances. I'm determined to crack this PCC thing.

I just have a question, have we been able to mod the game still after installing firewalker pack? Because I saw something of it overwriting Coalesced.ini and further edits not doing anything a little while back, is that true?

EDIT: I ask this because I was able to extract just the DLC_UNC_Hammer01.rar file, I'm thinking just create the appropriately named folder in the DLC folder, and running giveme2entitlements, no need to install 1.1 patch unless it's actually required for the DLC content to work...

ini modding still works for me, though I started from scratch, I didn't dare using a back-up. And all the texture mods still work as well. What kind of problems could there be?

EDIT: You could rename your .exe file before running the firewalker update, that way patch 1.1 won't work (no need to reinstall it if you have it already), but you should make a back-up of your c.ini. I scanned it and I don't believe there are any files critical to using the Hammerhead, but I never tested it and I might be wrong, of course.

Hmm, if thats the case, then all should be well, I was mainly wondering if there was any limitations introduced into 1.1 that prevent us from doing what we are able to in 1.0.

I used my backup INI and everything works fine so far including firewalker since the controls and stuff for the firewalker where already in the original INI using your backup should not give you any problems either, they didnt for me.

I think I may have some good news about the PCC's in about 40 mins but don't hold me to it.:unsure:
