If the game reads decompressed PCC files, maybe we can edit them after all once the file structure is worked out.

I just have a question, have we been able to mod the game still after installing firewalker pack? Because I saw something of it overwriting Coalesced.ini and further edits not doing anything a little while back, is that true?
EDIT: I ask this because I was able to extract just the DLC_UNC_Hammer01.rar file, I'm thinking just create the appropriately named folder in the DLC folder, and running giveme2entitlements, no need to install 1.1 patch unless it's actually required for the DLC content to work...
If you look better at the hammerhead file it included patch 1.01

I already had some thoughts about it to be honest, descompressing them and hex editing, tricking UDK into reading the files etc.

Downloading 600MB file at 345 KB/s that may allow reading of PCC's. Will not say more until I'm certain.

Yes, which is the entire reason I asked if after installing it we could still mod as normal.
As I said I figured a way to extract it without it installing 1.1 automatically, with the RAR file and placing the appropriately named folder in the DLC folder.

If your speaking of the unreal dev kit, only took a brief look but its designed to work with unreal, some trickery will be involved there but I didn't fully explore it at the time I took my break from modding.

Clever I'll have to remember that.

No problems for me. My edits still work fine, though I did create an export of my edits with the coalesced editor and imported them after installing.
I wanted to make the hammerhead "mining" faster, but that option doesn't appear to be in the ini's anywhere.
