I hope someone can figure a way to switch armor (I mean actual armor, not clothes) on the squad members... I'm pretty much satisfied with what I've got for Shepard by default. Adding more armors, while having Miranda in a latex suit or Samara half-naked fighting around me, only adds salt into the wound... :?

We really need properly armored squad members. At the very least for the hazardous environment/vacuum missions.

Need armor and clothing outfits.  Try this.

Try appling the casual and armor code lines from the Coalesced.ini files here:

http://www.masseffec...s.com/mods.php

(A little bit past half way down the page)

I just saved each to my desktop as Coalesced2.ini, Coalesced3.ini, Coalesced4.ini & Coalesced5.ini

Then took the
[SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player]

section of each ini, then copy and pasted the section:

;------------------------------Custom Outfits Start------------------------------
Clothing/Armor code lines
;------------------------------Custom Outfits End------------------------------

into my own [SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player] section of my Coalesced.ini file. When I launched ME2 after running fixer. I had too many choices to choose from.

Quick question: I Installed Kasumi DLC and upon checking the code lines in the .ini the new lines were not there. So I put them back in by hand. Can anyone verify why this happened?

If what I have just said is not what was wanted or needed then please consider the whole above stupid and dumb post Null & Void.:pinched:

Nice, have to try these when I come home today. I think when you install the DLC it overwrites your old .ini.

Gach!:pinched: Thats exactly what happened! Now I'm going code line by code line to see what else got changed.<_<

Slight question: How do you save a new character that is created from scratch in Gibbed's Mass Effect 2 Save Editor so you can import it as a new ME2 game?

I believe you have to set within the save editor the plot section of raw tab has to be set to lived to fight again, basically signifying that the game is completed.

Just use FreeDiff (search google) it lets you compare differences between two files, quite useful.

Five of my six ME1 saves that I brought into ME2 don't say that. They read: "NotFinished" under plot tag in Raw section. I'm trying to make a new game save from scratch and trying to trick ME2 into thinking I played ME1 for a seventh time!<_<
I saved the file as:  "Save_0001.pcsav" in my ME2 save directory, what is the next step?

After you start your new game, save and then open Gibbed's editor.

Then,
change the ME1 plot information making sure to check the "Played ME1"
box.

After setting the plot variables, switch to the RAW tab and
find "Endgamestate," then change that to one of the two Finished
options.

This will flag your ME2 save as complete and allow you
to import it to start a New Game.

Its not showing that I completed ME1 in G.S.E on a save I saved after getting to Cerberus base on the new profile. It seems to think the game is NG+; but that I havent played ME1 even with it selected prior in G.S.E. I Tried a test that Kadien survived instead of Ashley; might as well do a faceplam into the wall, for that proved that the new game created through G.S.E. didn't work work for me.

Disreguard my previous post.
Found a bypass that works for me. Don't know if it will work for anyone else though.:crying:
I bypassed starting a new game + by placing "BioP_Char" in the Base Name Level. It let me bypass all the intro stuff. And put me right to Character Creation, however it seems to be on a time limit of about 30 seconds. So I had to use masseffect2faces.com to get a face quickly. But besides that works like a charm, even skips Miranda & Wilson dialog.:D

I just opened one of my saves and set its plot flag and the played me1 flag and set all the plot variables and it worked for me.

Reason I know is because when I started the game in the opening sequence, I usually leave the council dead but I saved them this time.

Try importing an ME2 save rather than an ME1

I did, that's why I did the above for when I tried what you suggested a few posts back it spawned: "This program has encountered a problem and needs to close." I checked and fixer said all was fine.?

has anyone tried keybinding something like "SetPlot(xxxx)=0" to reset completed missions?

Why would you need to "fix" a save file? :S

Just to make sure I hadn't forgot to fix the Coalesced.ini when I changed the squad loadout positions.

If it doesn't load up correctly it's something wrong with c.ini, check the coding carefully, you'd be surprised at stuff that can be missed, I've done it myself, most usually when typing the code in rather than copying and pasting.

If its only crashing on your save file then your doing something wrong lol, I'd need detailed steps on what you've been doing.

I defaulted to a previous ini and problem fixed. 2 entire sections were missing! As if swallowed by the Bermuda Triangle!:pinched:

So, for anyone who is looking to get an awesome looking FemShep, I'd suggest taking a look at this one:

http://www.masseffec....php?faceID=911

I was originally going to make my Sheperd mirror Miranda until I stumbled across this one and HAD TO HAVE IT!!! She reminds me of Lightning from FF13 a little bit. She's absolutely awesome in game too.

I didn't make that Shep (so please don't credit me for it), but the person who did has been the only one to make a FemShep that I have actually LIKED! I just wanted to share it =D

Here's a picture or you can click the link above to see the ME2face:

Can you help me out a little in to how to get that hair color? Do I use the Gibbed Save Editor for that?

Hey, need a little help on naming a resource into the c.ini

1) I went into: BioD_Nor_231Morinth.pcc
2) and found the skeleton mesh: HMF_ARM_LGTc_MDL

I'm a little confused about the naming system, but I think I did this right. I named in it:
BioD_Nor_231Morinth.LGTc.HMF_ARM_LGTc_MDL. For the .ini it writes as:
CasualAppearances=(Id=9999,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Female="BioD_Nor_231Morinth.LGTc.HMF_ARM_LGTc_MDL"),PlotFlag=-1)

Using Azureum's Armor locker loadseq.txt I streamed in "OnlyLoadLevel BioD_Nor_231Morinth"

But it's not working. Anything I'm missing?

Why would you want to?

To replay awesome missions or change the endgame state I'm guessing.

I can do one better, I created a save from the very beginning with this fem shep and it's settings, just put the folder inside the zip into your My Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect 2\\Save folder and switch career when you load game, or plop the save file inside your own career folder, simples.

Why not just revert to a slightly earlier save?
