Well, Tali's head is part of the body mesh, but I suppose the reason for that is obvious. So then, anyone know how to change Shepard's head into Legion's?Fluffeh Kitteh wrote...
Heads are always separete meshes from the body, probably due to the complexity of animations. That indeed causes more complications when it comes to modding. Only fullbody meshes like the Collector Drone or the DLC armour will have the head and body together

Add it as a torso, then add a head using the helmetappearances.Inverness Moon wrote...
Well I was successfully able to use Legion's body using this:
FullBodyAppearances=(Id=51,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_GTH_LEG_NKD_R.NKDa.GTH_LEG_NKDa_MDL",Female="BIOG_GTH_LEG_NKD_R.NKDa.GTH_LEG_NKDa_MDL",bHasBreather=True,bHideHead=True,bHideHair=True),PlotFlag=-1)
Except that Legion's head is missing, I guess that is a special part that I don't know how to attach.
I also noted that even when using the same line for the casual appearance, Shepard's head is not hidden with Legion's body as a casual appearance yet it is hidden for the full body appearance in combat.

In that case I'd need to know the object name of Legion's head and then figure out how to hide the other body parts.NarfGarg wrote...

Of course that is assuming it will even work correctly if implementing it as a helmet.

Anyone managed to remove the shared cooldown somehow?
With UseSharedPowerCooldown=TRUE for example?
Since changing it to FALSE doesn't work for me
Don't bother. These folks aren't interested in gameplay changes. They just want to play dollhouse...

Cain Nuke Gun: Instead of yello it is now metallic grey, and dark red where there are "nuclear hazard" signs.
Cerberus Armor Helmet: I have activated all the lights on the helmet, for some reason Bio thought it would be nice to have lights that were turned off. I have also given it a jet black color finish and it looks really awesome.
Cerberus Armor: I have given it a full body repaint with a predominantly black theme with some white and grey mixed in. Goes really well with the helmet.
Now to the request: Ironically, I spent the last three days figuring out how to use texmod and photoshop to make these modded armors and the weapon. Unfortunately, i am a forum noob and have no idea how to :
Post pictures of these modded items, and how to upload my files to a site for others to download.
If someone could explain these two small things to me I would be glad to provide pictures of my changes and links so that others can download them.

Also, I would need someone to tell me how to take screenchots ingame of my items. I believe this is done with a command line that gets inserted in the ini file, but I forget where I saw it.
Screenshots are saved in/Documents/BioWare/Mass%20Effect%202/BIOGame/Screenshots/
I got armors working without the streaminbackground, so no more huge loading times. Have to test this a bit more, for now I've just been editing what I'm wearing with the save editor so don't know if you can select them in the ship.

There is already. Its called UDK.Jeffman12 wrote...
With all of this inspired modding, you'd think we could see an SDK at some point.
However most ue3 games are ridiculously good at blocking modding. The pcc format itself is one horrific barrier alone.

Ok quick question, has anyone figured out how to Hex Edit the Paragon/Renegade points on PC? I have done a search and there are multiple ways for the Xbox but the method doesn't convert. Any help would be appreciated, because I want to play the game the way I would handle every situation and for that I need to make mixed decisions and not be either extreme.

@solmanian
The problem you spoke of is easily fixed.
Do you know how to modify your Coalesced ini file? If you dont, message me privately and ill explain how, so we dont clutter up the thread.

The shot command creates BMPs, and if you do tiledshot it creates HUGE BMPs (mine were over 200MB each). So use something like irfanviews batch convertor to convert them.BiancoAngelo7 wrote...

Is there a link for the updated Gibbed Editor? I can only seem to find the one I have currently that is supported on the ME2 Faces Database. When I do a search all I find are idiots who don't know how to use it complaining in forums... not unlike this idiot who can't find an updated version lol.

I like to know can you have both outfits your companions have or just the one? Plus has anyone found Morinth's Asari Commando outfit yet, I really like to add that outfit to Shepard casual wear?

BiancoAngelo7, thats not how tags work. You need to upload the files using a site like http://tinypic.com/ , but you'll first need to convert them to jpg using a batch converter or editing program. How did you even manage a texmod without knowing about bmp/jpgs at all?

It's because you need to edit the savegame with stuff that can't be done with gibbeds editor. Like the proper stream setting.

my first post did not go though--
--this topic has been very helpfulll so thanks to all
questions--
1) i've successfullu added various 'casual' wear however many of them do not work as armor--
specificly [i belive]"
CasualAppearances=(Id=5,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMM_ARM_CTHc_MDL",MaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMM_ARM_CTHc_MAT_2a",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMF_ARM_CTHc_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMF_ARM_CTHc_MAT_2a"),PlotFlag=-1)
this appears as:
CasualAppearances=(Id=9,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMM_ARM_CTHc_MDL",MaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMM_ARM_CTHc_MAT_3a",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMF_ARM_CTHc_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHc.HMF_ARM_CTHa_MAT_3a"),PlotFlag=-1)
when changed to 'FullBodyAppearances='
-- is there a way aside from using texmod to allow//force the above listed to work as armor?
-- if not would anyone provide a few working alternatives of the dark~ly colored dress//coat-types ?.?~
2) i've played around with ways to use common talent//powers in place of the bonus --
-- however my best attmepts only turn out to be TEMP -- e.g. using CLOAK as VANGUARD--
the power//talent bar appears and is fully upgrade~able - only when you re~'load' it vanishes ...and takes the invested talent//squad-points with it -- again it is requireable upon revisting the lab on the normandy however... again soon as you re~'load' it is gone--
--has anyone come up with a working//perma~ solution to this?
--if not would there be a way to perhaps keybind this as-to quickly reapply whenever a re~'load' is required ?.?~
3) playing in general i often find myself getting stuck in//atop strctures--Espicaily when using 'biotic charge'--
--has anyone found a solution//fix for this?
--perhaps a way to keybind~ing allowing you to teleport to cross-hairs or nearist team//squad-mate ?.?~
thanks in advance--
sin'cerely
meio~
P.S. i've HORRIBLE eyes - so unless any replied information is usefull to others --Please-- include it in a private//personal message or merely reply to me that way thankies~muchly
