P.S.- Since I believe immersion is part of what made this game great, I have also modded Miranda in the Character selection screen to be blonde. Hope you enjoy it!

can we also make Miranda's eyebrows a lighter as well iwth the blonde hair otherwise it looks a bit odd..
argh I forgot to do that, I will as soon as I get back on Wednesday unless someone else already has by then. Sry I forgot about that! Like I said, Im still getting the hang of this!
although personally i like her dark eyebrows, I will make a second version with lighter blonde eyebrows and will clearly title it so people can tell the difference.

sry mate, but the people who are trying to do the "heavy lifting modding" would probably be better suited to answer your question, so far I only know how to mod textures and change colors/glows/materials etc.

Download texmod, the tutorial is a few pages back.
@BiancoAngelo7
Wow very nice skinwork.I really shouldn't make this thread more messy but I can't help but to give a suggestion for your black Cerberus reskin. The tone color goes very well with the black alternate outfits of Miranda and Jacob, though it would be nice if you could change those original yellow lines and logo into a bright orange the same way Mirandas outfit has. Here's a side by side comparison, notice those clearly outlined orange lines and a white logo with orange exterior:

Perhaps a bit eccentric to ask but I would be really grateful if you could add that to your skin

run texmod
click on package mode
upper left where it says target application choose your ME2 exe file it should be in your binaries folder
in the middle click on the folder tab, and select the desired tpf file like red metal cain for example
Add others as you like
Click Run at the bottom
And when I click runt a window pops up that says "**** happened" and doesn't do anything else. What am I doing wrong? DO I have to rename the .tpf file or something?
Edit: Nevermind. Got it to work. Had to turn off NOD 32

if you have running a antivirus software that protects the ram, you have to disable it while playing

Nope the hair and the head are connected in Mirandas Model, so there is no way to do that at the moment

Yup, thanks. Got it to work
Ok, now I've got the modding bug, hehe...
How can I do something like that? Open textures, edit them, save them as .tpf to be run with texmod? If I figure it out, I'll try to do her eyebrows, amongst other stuff...

1. run texmod
2. go to the logging tab, set the mass effect path and run the game
3. open textures and edit them.
4. back to texmod, go to the package build tab and create the tpf
5.package mode tab, select the created tpf and run the game

Edit: Done! Made her eyebrows lighter, to match BA7's hair. What do y'all think?

Looks nice.
The thing is you can't have them too bright or dark so finding a compromise can be troublesome, so I'm interested too see what BiancoAngelo7 will come up with as well.

I was complaining earlier that only two skins per team mate is to few, but with this, anyone with enough patience and some photo editing knowledge can make new skins... nice

Indeed.
Though I can't really understand the Devs decision to be so reluctant in making their code material more open to modification.I mean just look at Dragon age and all the wonderful/varied content the community has added.I for one wouldn't have played it for the third and fourth time otherwise.
The play experience is far more personalized that way and all the edges and nullities that catch one's eye are a no problem anymore.

Yeah, it is kinda weird, idn't it?
I mean, if they were as restrictive with all their games, let's say I'd understand... they don't like you modding their work. But since DA and KotOR, if you wanna go old school, are pretty darn moddable... Why not Mass Effect?
