Open an old save (or any save) which still has the headmorph - gender has to be the same.

Go to "ToolBox" tab and export the headmorph to a file.

Load your current character and use the Import button to load the file you just created.

Save the character.

If you revert you face back to the vanilla Hero model, you revert the "has a morphed head" to false hence why you can't make any changes to the settings "Player Appearance" cause you don't have any.

Then you tried to revert your settings so you have your morphed head again,however that doesn't work unless you import your original morph.I'm guessing you have more than one save from that particular playtrough, so what you need to do is export your morph head from a previous save that you haven't changed yet and then import it your latest save, you can do this under toolbox tab.

So yes changing "Has Morphed head" back to true is the right step but not enough.

Has anyone figured out an easy way to replace the player character model with an NPC model? I saw someone post something about it but it sounds like it hasn't been perfected yet. I haven't read all 37 pages.

I had a screenshot, but it was pretty sh*tty and I was too lazy to go back in game and take another lol :P

Oh and in certain lighting situations it will look extremely dark blue in some cases, but its still pure jet black.

Oh wow thanks so much for helping me out MoneyDeluxe and RoadCrewWorker!! It works!!! Now I've got one final question, how do I edit my Shepard so that he can have TIM eyes which are blue in colour? There was someone who mentioned how to a few pages back but I didn't understand it.. Thanks in advance!!

It is me or some of these tpf texmod files drag down the game fps? I get around 60+ fps on normal, whenever I load the game through texmod its crawls to 25-30 fps.

@abvex thats strange texmod only takes off maybe 5-10 fps from my normal 60 - 65

With few exceptions, heads are heads.  If you can use Miranda's head (and you can) then you should be able to use Shiala, Bartender, or "random asari on Illium #4".  

Just replace the Miranda-specific parts with the ones for Shiala.  (I only know where ME 1 Shiala's files are, not ME 2 Shiala though, sorry)     

Start here:  http://social.biowar...9432/28#1264280 and you'll probably need to fiddle with the "PackagesToAlwaysCook" too.

Update for all the good boys and girls

I have finished work
on Zaeeds standard armor being black instead of yellow. I dont know
about you guys, but I hate yellow. >:| I made it for myself, but
I hope others enjoy it as well, it kinda makes him look like the
punisher I think. (minus the huge skull of course:P)

Just add the hair you want as a helmet, I think the color will be random/default but it should work as long as its a mesh

Has anyone else has problems with the game freezing when you try to load save games that make use of a modified coalesced.ini?

I've used the ME2CoalescedEditor to make a few weapon related changes (unlocking the Widow when you get the Hand Cannon, plus some minor increases to spare ammo for a few guns), and initially I was having problems loading all my named saves - the game would simply freeze when I hit the load button - but the quick saves were still working for some reason (and so did the modifications I had made).



Tonight I made one more change to coalesced.ini - unlocking the SMG a bit earlier as well (also using UnlockPlotID=Wpn_HeavyPistol2 like I had with the Widow), and now I just couldn't load any of my infiltrator and engineer saves at all.

I've triple checked everything - there really shouldn't be any errors anywhere in the changes I've made, but for now I've gone back to my original unmodified coalesced.ini and everything is working fine again (and my infiltrator still has the Widow, at least on her current mission - haven't seen yet what happens upon loading a new area, I would have assumed it would just magically disappear, or cause the game to crash).

Sorry, I meant I only know the file locations of Shiala's model in ME 1 itself---I don't know where ME 2 keeps her files (obviously in the Illium group somewhere).  And I'd be very surprised if you could use ME 1 files in ME 2. 

But, there's a big caveat if you want a purple Shiala: the way ME 1 handled skin colors.  For ME 1, all asari (except Liara and Benezia) used the exact same face texture.  The game actually "tinted" the polygons themselves, with the semi-transparent face texture over it.  I would imagine ME 2 is the same way, rather than having dozens of differently-colored face textures. (it's also how the Shepard-face-maker works--a single transparent texture over colored polygons, rather than making textures for every single combination of face colors)  Thus, Shiala's model is likely hard-coded to be inherently green in ME 2.   But, there could be a way around it:

If you made the face texture opaque, and made it purple, then it would cover up the green polygons it's applied to.  However, this would make EVERY asari purple, except for Samara probably.  (for a while I had every asari in ME 1 looking like Liara, except Liara herself)  Unless Shiala has a unique face texture--which is unlikely IMHO, as she didn't in ME 1, and she has an even smaller role in ME 2.  (even the Consort didn't get her own face texture)
