@DemonSlayer_1: You have a Coalesced in your project files where you add new powers to the adept class. Can you tell me how to do that? I wanted to change some classes powers.

 I don't know if you already said that, sry to ask again if you did, it's a p.i.t.a. to read 43 pages...:(

Was having a look at the Steam forums and saw this mentioned:

Would that solve the issue of not being able to use certain textures outside of the ship etc.. because its not loading them?



From a RAM point of view it could be quite wasteful but it might work.

MappedPowers=SFXPower_Shockwave
MappedPowers=SFXPower_Lift
MappedPowers=SFXPower_Pull
MappedPowers=SFXPower_Throw
MappedPowers=SFXPower_Slam
MappedPowers=SFXPower_Overload

My adept is powerful :)

Now thats the powers one needs!!!!

My adept level 5 profile loads with all of these fully maxed out, but again. The profile is meant for someone who's replaying a new game after already beating it once before.

I have completed the Dark Grey Collector Assault Rifle, which for
some reason I forgot about when doing the other collector items.

So, if i understand right, you can change between your powers and henchmen powers but you can't give your self others classes exclusive powers?

Hello everyone!
I've made my first reskin and thought I'd share it with you.It's a reskin of the second loyalist Armor of Garrus.I gave it a nice Black&Orange Teamlook and added a Cerberus Badge.

I am using this saved game + your ini and those powers are not loading I only have the original powers of adept + neural shockwave.:blink:

No, you can give yourself any power you want, but your number of powers are limited

I however have been unable to assign powers to jacob and miranda
-No matter how many times I assign them thru gib editor and save. It loads their defaults

The powers are found under
ActiveclassRedirects=OldclassName=SFXPower_ArmorPiercingAmmo_Thane,NewclassName=SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_ArmorPiercingAmmo_Thane

"ACTIVEclassREDIRECTS'

All you need is this part
SFXPower_ArmorPiercingAmmo_Thane


You can't alter the power in anyway though... I'd love to increase the tactical cloak time (6 seconds in rubbish)

Goto your file page and on the right hand side choose mofidy files
Now tick the box that says available to everyone.

So you mean it doesn't work for non-NG+ characters or what?
Strange I can't make it work on any of my characters...Or do I have to select new game? Confused here!

You have to edit coalsced then start a new game

It only uses the class power settings on a new game
-After that they are locked in

You can however modify powers thru gib as I just did

This is new power wheel for the save I am packaging together now

I couldn't give overload for some reason, my other profile had it for older saves.


Still this new save gives you
-Slam, Pull, Throw,
-Singularity, Warp, Shockwave from the very start

I've changed the [SFXGamePawns.SFXCharacterclass...] and i add a new "ActiveclassRedirects=OldclassName=SFXPower_..." line but even so the power didn't load...

I'm doing smthing wrong?
Do i need to start a new game or use Retrain Powers?


Edit: Oh, ok i didn't read the last post... Nvm...  I'll try that.

I knew there was a way to edit powers, I was pretty close too. I just didn't want to start a new game.

Has anybody tried to use the powers not used in the game like Carnage?

If you don't want to load a new game for powers do this

1). Download and open gib
Load your savegame - my document\\\\mass effect 2\\\\saves

Click on the raw tab
maximize this section
click powers

change the name sfxpowers_singularity to sfxpowers_throw
change the name of the power to throw.

save the file as save_00**
load your newest save

Any other name than this will lock the game

You can find all of the power names in coalsced active class re-directs

i'm kinda confused here. can you only change it to throw? and can this only work on adept?

Personally i'd like to mod the vanguard class to have Charge, Shockwave, Singularity, Throw, Inferno Ammo

Would that be possible? i don't mind having to start a new game. doing some mods to jack and miranda that makes me want to start a new game anyway.

click here for the visual aid I put together real quick (step by step)

The best thing about gib is you can launch mass effect2
load a save game

alt+tab to gib
modify and save a new savegame
alt+tab back into mass effect 2
then load it without ever having to close mass effect 2
