I think there was some trick to do it with the casual outfit. But it'll work outside of normandy atleast.Deinonychus_Z wrote...

I got sounds working with every teammate armor... except on normandy. Once I figure it out I'll release it. Image unrelated ;o
I really haven't been following this thread. How'd you do that? And is it possible to change Shepard's head to Grunt's head too, to complete the entire model?

I'm having some problems with Texmod. I'm running ME2 1.01.
First, is Texmod supposed not to remember what application and which packages to load each time you start Texmod?
Then the bad news. Using Texmod, my fps drops to 15-20 on the Normandy CIC when facing the galaxy map, higher elsewhere on the Normandy. Normally it's a stable 60 everywhere. Framerate is not affected when starting ME2 through Texmod WITHOUT any packages loaded. But as soon as I load even one package, such as one of the armor or weapon textures around, the framerate drops to 15-20 on the Normandy CIC. It seems to be a problem in the application itself, not the textures, because it doesn't matter which package I load.
Also, the black Mordin texture didn't work (only tested on Normandy).
Texmod will react differently with every pc. Try disabling antiviruses, closing useless processes in Task Manager. Also, make sure you have the correct .exe file loaded into your package mode after the 1.01 patch. There should be a slight fps drop, but nowhere near 20 from 60. I only get 50-55 fps when running texmod.
dude, same thing here man. Maybe i'm diong the wrong exe, masseffec2.exe?
But even on a clean install of XP with nothing else installed, on the CIC of the normandy when looking toward the front i get 60 without texmod. 25-30 with. even with only one texmod package loaded with one image.

Probably v-sync is messing with your framerate. If your ref rate is 60 and if texmod lowers your fr to 59, v-sync lowers it to nearest compatible, which is 50%(30fps) try forcing v-sync off in GPU control panel, or in 'Coalesced.ini'(not sure which entries though)

I have completed a request for my Black Legion to have blue "geth skin" details. Here it is:

and download:social.bioware.com/project/2095/
I am still working on fixing the TIM eyes project, as well as other requests, so no worries.
Personally I like Vanilla Legion, but it was requested, so it was made. Enjoy.

Also, have you found a way to toggle the Squad Selection at any time?

Has anyone tried to actually make the Vindicator shot a 5 round burst?

I think changing
'BurstRounds=3' to 5 under
'[SFXGameContent_Inventory.SFXWeapon_Needler]' might do the trick, but
haven't tried that.
What he said, works in both 1.0 and 1.01

Lmao, re the sound issue its something I find happens as well, my guess is your running Boarderless Windowed mode as well? Regardless when the sound goes just click on this the sound icon in the bottom right of the task bar and sound should come back as if by magic.

I'm with you on this one. Vanilla Legion is my thing, but maybe you could make him whole white(like troopers in ME1 - no pink marking, no lovely hearts, no red skin, just clean white)? I don't know how this would look, might be nice, but I won't bet my life on it.
And [humbly] maybe some ideas about black 'beret hat'... please?

Yeah I could look into a classic ME1 white geth look for legion, and like you said no promises cuz I dont know how good it would come out either.

Dark Glasses released some more casual outfits and armours: http://social.biowar...3070/blog/2541/
His 'beret hat' looks really good, but its sort of red-ish andI think black one would look way better:

Oh, and I ment Geth Shock Trooper from ME1.

Changing UseVSync and ForceFullVSync to false had no effect for me.

Preview of Gibbed's character http://starbucks.mir...e91b095066d.jpg
Gibbed quote "Need to release a new build of the save editor to make colorizing it possible though. "
Doable now apparently but they will stay red, still need to test that.
edit:
I did a small test fallowing Gibbeds small tutorial and it works.
- Open save in Save Editor.
- Change to Raw tab.
- Expand Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head >
Texture Parameters.
- Open the Texture Parameters list.
- Add two new entries as follows:
code:Name: EYE_Diff Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Diff
code:Name: EYE_Spec Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Spec
But the colour will stay red even if you change the iris colour in the editor.
