I use this every time when I max out my character or on a second playthrough becaue it makes no sense to me that we cant max out our skills after blasting away half the galaxy and their grandma.

like the view of jacob im my screen shot.... (imagine jacob as sheppard. I want this camera. ignore sheppard in foward.. )

but im having problems in finding all camera position values / lines to edit... :(

Me myself and I wrote the following a few posts ago...

Did any of you find out how to change the number of rounds you pickup from a "thermal" clip for a specific weapon?

And sorry to ask this now, when it was said, I dont know how many pages ago, but what's was the command to theoretically disable DLC check and allow them to load for any user?



@ Die Varieties is there a command that activates the Omni-Tool? That is a command I would like, but havent found anything in the coalesced.

How do I edit pull or throw damage independently of the PhysicsDamageMultiplier=0.25f line? Also, does anyone know of a way to add a brief period of incapacitation to the throw power, similar to Crippling Slam but shorter?

Maybe X= Controls clip size and Y= is how many shots you pic up when you walk over a clip.  That said I doubt it because the Geth Pulse Rifle doesn't pickup a consistent ammount of "shots"

Moded X=Y=34. The Vindicators magazine size is 34.
maxspare ammo changed to 196.
After battle: 138 spare and 34 in mag. Took up a Thermal clip: 196 spare.
So a clip holds 58 ammo? There is no XXX=58 anywhere in the settings...
-----edit: going to retest with 0 ammo in spare to see how much he/she takes up.---
While magsize x=y=24 and max spare 196. With 0 ammo in both, taking up a clip filled up the spare with 49 ammo.

Uhm, ROFL?

What happens with x=34 y=34?

By default the Vindicator has 4 extra mags, 138/4 s 34.5 and 196/4 is 49, seems to be rather odd, like to see what happens at x=34 y=34.

Thing is in the files you specify both the max extra mags and the max extra rounds, its possible that because you are increasing clipsize but not max number of rounds the program is getting confused.

This has my interest now, going to try some variations

I found out how to get red TIM eyes on Shepard using Gibbed



Open save in Save Editor.

Change to Raw tab.

Expand Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head > Texture Parameters.

Open the Texture Parameters list.

Add two new entries as follows:

Value: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.IllusiveMan.HMM_HED_PROIllusiveman_Eye_Diff

Is the save you tried with this a paragon or renegade save?  If its a renegade I am guessing you havn't done the scar treatment yet.

Ok set the Vindicators Mag size to X=36Y=36, keeping the max number of clips at 4 and changed max ammo to 144(36*4)

1.I fired off one mags worth and then picked up a thermal clip, it restored the ammo by 36 back to the max ammo allowed(144)
2. I fired the gun until I had 35 shots left in reserve and picked up a two thermal clips this restored the ammo to 129, which is equivilent to 47 shots per clip.
3. Starting at 129 shots I picked up another clip(just the 1) this restored the ammo back to 144.
4. Finally I set it so I had 36 shots in reserve and then picked up 2 clips, this restored the ammo to 130.  This also worked out at 47 shots a clip.

Guess thats something to start with, now to browse through the ini's and have a look.  For reference this is with a Vindicator which has no reasearch upgrades done on it and was during the Mordin recruitment mission.

You know, I feel really bad for asking this, but I've gone through all 59 pages and still haven't found what I was looking for. Would anyone who knows what they're doing be able to tell me:

1. What tools I would need to get started in personal modding. I'm a texturer, but I would also be interested in some .ini editing, considering those two are about the only types of modding for ME2 right now.
2. How, specifically, to add NPC clothing as both Armor and Casual options without the disappearing issues (and, if possible, the silent Normandy issue)
3. How to edit NPC appearances (such as clothing, abilities, or stats)

Sorry if this has been established, but I've seen multiple things and have no clue what to go by. And if anyone already has mods that allow this, could they at least post a download link? I want to learn myself, but I'd have no problem with just being able to mess around until I can get the hang of it.

1.Texmod for texture extraction and import and preferred texture editing software like adobe photoshop.
2.Regarding the ini.editing there are several methods of going by that.For direct editing you have to use notepad2 otherwise the scripts won't be recognized additionally you'll need the me2ini.fixer which is essentially a simple program you use after editing your coalsced.ini or you can go about the mod manager which has a different method, though I can't find the download in the moment.

Also there are dozens of coalsced.ini modifications floating around here that give you all sorts of extra clothing, though again I haven't seen any that could give you succesful model mixes that work outside the Normandy and not leading to the known sound error.Here's an example of a modded ini:

3.You can use texmod in logging mode to find and sample textures of NPCs and pretty much everything else and extract them for easy editing.As for the stats the .ini mods take care of that.

Ok, I've been having this strange issue with Narf's crouch mod. It works, but whenever I push the button to crouch, the game mini-freezes for about a second, then does another mini-freeze when I let go of it. I have a pretty damn fast computer too, so what could be causing it? I used the mod manager to compile it into the Coalesced.ini but is there some step I'm missing?

Can you SWAP two people? As in say make Tali into Samara, and Samara into Tali? Or do you have to make them both the same like in the pic above?

I always wanted to turn Ashley "I hate aliens" into Liara in ME 1, just to annoy her...

Can't switch NPC meshes. This is just loading two of the same NPC.

I saw it happen when i used a model that didnt have the animation to duck or something, like with the nude model. Also on the ship, so see if it does it in an area where you're supposed to be able to take cover too.
