I like Mass Effect 2 a lot more than Dragon Age Origins but I did like all the potential of modding DAO has. Working with files isn't an issue but if there ever is a way to import or re-compile data files for ME2, I wouldn't mind putting TIM on the team. He could replace Zaeed for my part since that's about the only teammate I didn't like in ME2. Resident Evil 5 didn't have any support for modding but someone made a program to extract and re-compile files and that made many things possible for that game but unfortunately the game itself was too lacking I thought.
I remember at some point in this thread someone mentioned having Edi as a teammate and that reminded me of a tv show called Andromeda where the ship's AI had a body to use as an extension of itself. There's a lot I can do with modding a game but my problem for some games has been that not every game has any tools to use for getting the files needed and making the game accept new variations of them, that requires some programming knowledge.
I'm looking forward to your mod with the teammate outfits and armors though, i've been wanting to use them but it'd drive me crazy to not have sound in the normandy and the collector guns also didn't have sound with miranda's outfit for shepard so it will be nice to see that fixed. I had thought about looking into that but there were things I wanted to finish up with DAO and wanted to play ME2 some more before modding it.
I've read that there will only be 3 releases of ME, but who knows if they'll do more, just without shepard but either way, i'd like to see bioware be nice like they did with DAO and throw out a good toolset for me3 if it is to be the last one of the series.

Sadly my rejoicing of getting sounds to work was premature. With the new method they'll work until you leave the ship, and outside of the ship you won't possibly have anything on. And when you come back you'll have to go to the armory to get them back again. Seems its too broken for anything other than funny videos.

Depends on the outfits. It appears that the outfits contained the the HMF/HMM packages always load and I haven't had a sound problem with them

You can take your c.ini from biogame and put it in place of the original.ini the manager uses (just rename it). The manager uses that original.ini to write it's changes to, then replaces your c.ini with it.

Backup your c.ini before anything
copy your c.ini to the modmanager folder and replace the "original.ini" there with the c.ini (rename it
edit : ninja'd

Im glad you like it. I was actually thinking about having the no tattoo texture as her loyalty outfit, but I'd have to wait until I have access to it in this playthrough.

Yeah I can just use the shirt from her loyalty outfit. Although I should probably change the color. Any suggestions?

Go here: http://www.gildor.org/downloads
You can use the extractor to open them .pcc's, but it won't do any good. You can't recompile files into a .pcc yet.
