Azureum, phoenixofthunder - thanks for the ideas, guys! I've trying playing with post processing but it changes the colours and the overall quality which isn't good for a screenshot anyways...

Disabling LensFlares was a cool idea! But why the hell disabling them disables all selection boxes as well? )) So it may be useful while making landscape shots but not if you need a selection box to trigger the dialogue/cut-scene with a desired pic.

Ah, woes of screenshots-making! ))

What method of screenshot making you using?:unsure:

Bindings=( Name="F3", Command="tiledshot 2 1024" )

As my native resolution is 1280x1024 and I believe this command is the only way to make high quality screens in a bigger resolution.

Try running ME2 with the same resolution as your desktop and pressing Print Screen button on the keyboard (button left of the scroll lock). Then opening a painting program (I use CodedColor PhotoStudio) and hit Control+V. This should paste the screenshot into the program ready to be saved to whatever format you wish.

Or you could try the screenshot function of Fraps.

Fraps isn't very good for that, if you're looking for more or less beautiful screenshots you need to have some program that allows you to modify at least the output quality. (I've used SnagIt, for example.) But the problem is, they're basically capturing your screen with it's native resolution, 1280x1024 for me.

What I'm looking for is a 2560x2048 high quality screenshot and the tiledshot command makes it pretty well, but yeah - due to how it works it screws pictures with lens flares.

You have to add this line for the asari commando outfit

TorsoAppearances=(Id=7,Name=334453,Description=334454,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_ASA_ARM_LGT_R.LGTa.ASA_ARM_LGTa_MDL",Female="BIOG_ASA_ARM_LGT_R.LGTa.ASA_ARM_LGTa_MDL"),PlotFlag=-1)

Is it possible to get Morinth to wear that instead of the Samara outfit when she joins your squad.

i tried to change the Codex by the Customization menu and it work but the only probleme is when you leave the customisation menu you'r still in the wheel menu so you see your character but cant move camera and stuff.
the menu work like this.. [wheel menu] == > [ codex menu ] ( when you want to look at the codex )
and when you leave the codex its.. [ codex menu ] press escape ==> [ wheel menu ] and then press escape [ in-game ]
Now the problem is when i add the custom menu to take the place off the codex one the bug come when you try to leave.
The custom menu in the line code dont have the Return to wheel menu command when you press escape or when you choose your armor.
So.. [ codex menu ( customisation menu ) ] press escape ==> Bug... the menu hide you see your character but cant d osomething cause you'r stuck in the [ wheel menu ] but dont see it ^^.
Erm hard to explain with my bad english sorry.

Is there some condition that I have to set to get this to work? Simply adding the line to my Coalesced.ini isn't doing the trick. I'm starting my second playthrough, so I've met Morinth once, but not in this toon.

Advice?

I've been working on doing it via chained txt files using the exec command.  It's a hackjob, but it works.

You'll want to make all the files in the binaries directory of the game.

I bound L to "exec armorlocker.txt" & created the first file called "armorlocker.txt"

exec gui_armor_stream_in.txt

the next file is "gui_armor_stream_in.txt"

streamlevelin BioD_Nor_000Cabin
setbind L exec gui_armor_menu.txt

then "gui_armor_menu.txt", which will bring up the pause menu & the armor locker at the same time.  you can make the changes to the armor & then apply them just fine.  after that, you can exit the pause menu as normal.

CloseGUI personalization
showmenu
OpenGUI Personalization
setbind L armorlocker.txt

The reason it binds back to the first file is to ensure that you always stream in the necessary map file from the normandy to get access to the armor menu.

If you want your area map to work correctly, you'll have to add a "streamlevelout BioD_Nor_000Cabin" command to another key, otherwise you'll have your personal cabin showing up for the map everywhere.

If I can figure out how to get the background to load without using the pause menu, i'll definitely be posting a finalized solution here.

I think I've found the problem, but it's puzzling me. When I go through my BIOG files I can't find one that's named BIOG_ASA_ARM_LGT_R  or anything even close to that. Where did you find the file? Or am I doing something utterly daft, like getting the names wrong? I'm seriously confused--am I missing a file?

BTW, I'm working with a default coalesced.ini file--I saved an original before I started making changes.

dilmonen, I though you could bind multiple commands to a key with " | " between commands. Would it be possible to combine this to one or two keybinds instead of using the exec runaround?

Good job though. Thanks for posting the code.

I tried that, but kept gettting a crash since it was trying to load the personalization resources before the level was finished streaming in.

that was the only way i found to get around that issue on my pc.

Tiledshot won't capture the lens flare properly just due to the nature of... Well, how it makes screenshots. Disabling lens flare in the game actually goes the trick., but as I already noted the selection boxes disappear as well so you can't trigger a dialog to make a screenshot during it.

It seems the post processing trick only works for me during post-recruitment conversation in debrief room.

I have the "FPS above 60" trick enabled:
UseVsync=False
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=75
MinSmoothedFrameRate=75
MinDesiredFrameRate=75.000000

What do I disable for better FPS with the illulsive man cutscenes? I'm getting hit with 8-11 FPS jagged play during these conversations?

I haven't tried this or messed around with it yet, except for showing the squad selection screen with a streamlevelin command, but it has side effects, sounds or music no longer work as the squad screen one is used.

But I have a theory, if one was to use OnlyLoadLevel command (it just loads it in background seemingly, you see the spinning disc icon).

If so could we not just then use OpenGUI Personalization, and CloseGUI Personalization?

You could use that on 1 keybind with a standard, ctrl and alt definition, standard to load the level, then ctrl to open gui and alt version to close gui.

I need to try it but its just my theory, wonder if you have thought along the same lines though and not got it to work.

Never mind, I figured out how to get it all working in 1 keybind, minus his actual L to open the locker.  Final hurdle is allowing it to work without entering pause menu!

Bindings=( Name="NumPadOne" ,
Command="OnlyLoadLevel BioD_Nor_000Cabin | OnTap 2.0 showmenu | OnTap
3.0 OpenGUI Personalization" )

That will load the required level and both pause and open locker menu on top of the pause menu, all in the same button press. Although don't press it again whilst you have the locker overlay on, otherwise it crashes the game lol.

That's why the exec file that opens the personalization options actually has a closegui personalization before it calls up the others.  Specifically to avoid a crash if the key is tapped too many times.  ;)

No idea:?,  try streching a screen capture after screen shot has been taken. Do this when SceneCaptureStreamingMultiplier=#.000000 is set to 2 or 4. And see if quality remains or is reduced. :?

Yep.

You just have to switch to 16:5 is you're using some other resolution for that as the tiledshot won't be able to capture the whole screen otherwise.
