Azureum, phoenixofthunder - thanks for the ideas, guys! I've trying playing with post processing but it changes the colours and the overall quality which isn't good for a screenshot anyways...
Disabling LensFlares was a cool idea! But why the hell disabling them disables all selection boxes as well? )) So it may be useful while making landscape shots but not if you need a selection box to trigger the dialogue/cut-scene with a desired pic.
Ah, woes of screenshots-making! ))
What method of screenshot making you using?
Bindings=( Name="F3", Command="tiledshot 2 1024" )
As my native resolution is 1280x1024 and I believe this command is the only way to make high quality screens in a bigger resolution.
Try running ME2 with the same resolution as your desktop and pressing Print Screen button on the keyboard (button left of the scroll lock). Then opening a painting program (I use CodedColor PhotoStudio) and hit Control+V. This should paste the screenshot into the program ready to be saved to whatever format you wish.
Or you could try the screenshot function of Fraps.
Fraps isn't very good for that, if you're looking for more or less beautiful screenshots you need to have some program that allows you to modify at least the output quality. (I've used SnagIt, for example.) But the problem is, they're basically capturing your screen with it's native resolution, 1280x1024 for me.
What I'm looking for is a 2560x2048 high quality screenshot and the tiledshot command makes it pretty well, but yeah - due to how it works it screws pictures with lens flares.
