Peep Williams: When you work with the ini, instead of editing the line, duplicate it, and change the Id=# parameter to something that isn't there. like the outfits/armors that are already there have Id=0, Id=1, etc. Start with id=5 and you'll have a new one.

All the items has an ID tag in another file, but when i try to open the other file it looks all encrypted... So... no idea at all =/

The thing i want is the Geth Pulse rifle ¬¬... i dunno how to get it by ''modding''

You can get it in the normal game... And to mod it to be easier to get, all you'd have to do is change the plot point it unlocks at to something earlier like the Vindicator or the Hand Cannon.

It featues:
3 new helmets with stats

2 Medium armors with stats

And a few cool new casual costumes like:

You can add new armors, make it so you can pick up enemy weapons and change the stats of pretty much anything. It's as close to modding as we'll get with ME2. Get over it.

@Sparrow475 I saw something about a mod where you can pick ip enemy weapons but I can't seem to find it again

Hey, i've added a casual outfit as an armor for my Shepard, but when i'm runnning around with it talking to people my Shepards voice sounds different, like he's talking inside of a closed helmet (like the DA armor for instance). Does anyone knows how to change his voice to normal, like when you are using the N7 armor?

I'll repost it here:

Set it to true to be able to pickup enemy weapons, I've played about 9 hours with it on and experienced no substantial bugs.

Good point.

But the only difference it's easy accessible. Cut the ini to parts, compile it and hide in other files, then you can easily call it modding. Just semantics though. Modding in other games is also editing values and changing "=true" to "=false".

I bet BioWare left us the ini on purpouse. There won't be any SDK so instead we got easy to edit ini file with lots of content.

WOW, thanks. Haven't seen it yet. Editing coalesced.ini is easy but this tool makes it less tedious.

I tried adding the HasBreather=False property, that you see on some of the helmets, but it didn't work. I think anything that's 'full body' may automatically use the breather voice by default. So I wonder if you could somehow define the new armors piece by piece instead of as a full body outfit.

Hey, thank you for the answer! Something else, do you know, maybe, if there is a way to increase the camera distance to Shep? :)

Oh please, we're only one step away from making proper third party mods. That step is compiling a .pcc, and that tool should be out in the near future.

Hmmff, all my fem sheps have lost their eye lashes after I edited the hairstyle of one of them.
