If Miranda is in your active party, you don't need to toggle anything but if she isn't then toggle the numpad key for her and then bring up the armor locker menu via the numpad toggle and her armor will be there.  The game only streams data of active characters in the game so if they are not present or very close to shepard, their data will not be streamed so the toggles to force the game to stream this is what the toggles are for.  The armor locker menu mod that Azureum posted is used to change armor while away from the normandy.  Toggling certain character data to stream forces the game to load the desire character model and textures.  This method requires toggling what armor you want but it also does not affect sound so overall it's by far the best solution currently.

Thanks for the mod Southbeatz1169 :)! I tried it and it works great. Couple things that didn't work, when you pick your new armor it doesn't show in the next mission, back to default one tho. Plus the conversion seem skipped like part of the scene was missing.  Great job so far :)

Sorry if it's already been covered, the search function doesn't seem to work for me, but I'm having some trouble getting the hybrid ammo system to work and I figured this was the place to ask. I've set WeaponsUseHeat to TRUE and HeatDissipationRate to 18.0f using the Coalesced Editor, and while I'm fairly sure the first setting is working (reload does nothing, even with half-empty clip) my ammo isn't regenerating at all.

I'm only up to Freedom's Progress (no idea if that matters) but can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Thanks.

Giving Shepard Miranda's hair style dosent seem to be possible right now as her hair is built into her head so until we can add new meshes to the game Shepard sadly cannot have Miranda's hair.

Clearly I'm an idiot. I loaded the Coalesced.ini containing all the mods--just replaced my existing one with it--and tried to use the key bindings to load up Morinth's armor. I couldn't get ANY of the armors to work. Can someone explain the right way to access the Morinth armour? And use short words, please, because I'm obviously stupid on this subject.

So has the no sound on the Normandy been fixed yet? I was reading the readme and thats what it sounded like. I have my own ini, can you direct me to what I need to edit? Everything in this thread is spread out too much. We need a one-stop-shop.

Edit: Is TexMod still required?

Sup Guys, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to get garrus's undamaged armor and head for shepard. I already have injured garrus working but I want to turn my male shepard into my own unique turian w/ out effecting any other turians. Also, does anyone know how to make a casual oufit like a full body like this: www.youtube.com/watch

I'll upload ini files to copy & paste only what is wanted for those that know how to use notepad++ and only include the content I modified and it will be seperated with details for what's what.  I'll post that later today.

-Edit-
I've updated the 1.2 archive with a template tutorial ini file for those that want to modify their ini file without replacing the entire file.

To those who are unsure of how to impliment my own / dilmonen's solution to the armor locker, its a bit complicated at first but if you think about it logically, it can be quite simple.

The first method of chaining files would suffice really, right now its just 1 file so its not a chain, the file the exec file commands works because I have already loaded a level in the keybinding.

Easiest way to implement it really is by just running an exec command on a file that is full of the onlyloadlevel commands to load the necessary components into the game, at the end of that file run another exec command this time to my original menu txt file.

That should in theory allow you 1 button press, then select the appropriate armor from any of the characters as long as the relevant pcc file was loaded into the first text file.

Example:

bindings ..... command = "exec loadlevels.txt" )  (I shortened this line don't copy and paste it lol)

NOTE: All text files you just drop into the binaries folder, they work from there.

Loadlevels.txt

OnlyLoadLevel insertmaphere1
OnlyLoadLevel insertmaphere2
OnlyLoadLevel insertmaphere3
exec gui_armor_menu.txt

NOTE: Obviously one of these onlyloadlevel commands needs to be for the map name in my original binding for the menu to even work.

Gui_armor_menu.txt

CloseGUI personalization
showmenu
OpenGUI Personalization
setbind NumPadEight gui_armor_menu.txt

Beauty of this is, it only needs to load all this once, once it does that same button press just loads your menu due to the keybinding going on in the last command, just change that to the key name you used in your coalesced.ini binding.

Uh, Sorry in advance if I'm being really stupid, but can you please tell me how you got it to work? I managed to put Morinth's shoulder, arm and torso parts on Shepard, but the leg parts just don't show up. They stay the default one. Am I missing something? What should I do? Do I need Morinth in my party?  Any kind of help would be appreciated.

By the way, on missions the option to holster your weapon works for Shepard but the squadmates still remain armed and keep their weapons in readiness. Do you know, is there any way to make them golster their weapons as well? Or there's an in-game option to do this which I overlooked?

Okay so I finally managed to get the leg parts to work for the Morinth armor. But they only show up when I equip a helmet on Shep. Is that how it is supposed to work or did I mess something up (again)? Thanks in advance for the help.

There is an issue with the game that it can't properly display some of the 'empty' meshes together, like empty head/shoulders and displays some previously displayed meshes in place. Easy solution is to have an un-intrusive headpiece, like comm-link to wear with the armor. There are some mods for that out there, I think :) Dr. Pepper shield interface works nice for the purpose too.

Hope it helps :)
