The first time a bridge piece appears, it looks faint. It’s still insubstantial and can’t be stepped on. If two insubstantial pieces overlap, which happens as different stones are touched by companions along the sides, then the ghost bridge becomes solid where the images overlap. To cross, follow this pattern:
Step 1: Right one, right two, left three.
Step 2: PC steps on first section of ghost bridge.
Step 3: Right two, left three, left six.
Step 4: PC steps on second section of ghost bridge.
Step 5: Right two, right four, left six.
Step 6: Right four, left one, left six.
Step 7: PC steps on third section of ghost bridge.
Step 8: Right four, right five, left one.
Step 9: Right five, left one, left five.
Step 10: PC crosses successfully.
Step 1: Right one, right two, left three.
Step 2: PC steps on first section of ghost bridge.
Step 3: Right two, left three, left six.
Step 4: PC steps on second section of ghost bridge.
Step 5: Right two, right four, left six.

Your DM must be terrible if you've never encountered a puzzle.
The bridge IS a little obtuse, though. There's a ton of possibilities for it, and it's hard to work through without a good starting point.

it's actually not that hard, but being an avid adventure game fanatic, I guess im just used to it

This was the first time in a long while (since NWN I think) where I actually went "hey, I get to doodle a puzzle on paper!" to solve an in-game puzzle. Console RPGs have these more often but it was fun. Now, I'd rather not have a game full of them, but one here and there doesn't hurt at all.

Kai.. You're wrong. Moving person one to eleven makes the platform my character was on go bye-bye. Until you can figure out a way for me to actually get to the third platform, the rest of your plan is invalid.

....maybe I missed something but this puzzle is insanely easy just run one character over the plates until the first one fades in then run another character of the plates until it turns solid. repeat until bridge is completed. no exercise of the brain required.

whatever employee thought of that puzzle deserves to be fired, demoted at least. There is no sensible pattern or logic in the order required to make the bridge. On console when a piece becomes solid it stays solid, which makes it easier... on PC it doesn't, it can become transparent again if you move the wrong party member....
Made the experience very frustrating without any tips or guidance. Stupid, stupid.

am I the only one who thought this was easy?
srsly. like the above said. run over the tiles until the first bridge piece pops up, do it with second character until it forms entirely and permanantly.
rinse and repeat for next.

Well i think puzzles are one of the best traps/test in the dungeons so i think its logical that bioware adds them into the game. Its good to use your brain once in a way...*not that i'm saying you never use them at all

Was so easy, I guess they didn't think it would really pose a problem to anyone.

Seriously, on the console you can't have your npc fall off and have to start again?

Haha Bioware games always had puzzles in them, there was the towers of hanoi problem in kotor and mass effect, the lights on/off thing in kotor, and always the riddles and logic problems! mmhm

There's plenty of logic to it.
Some pieces only fade in a single piece, some fade in two. In order to progress you need to figure out which platforms create an overlap so you can shuffle a character around. Eg P1 is activating section 1, P2 is activating section 2, P3 should stand on the one that activates section 1 and section 2 and once the character stands on the second platform the character standing on the section 1 only platform should move.
I thought it was a great puzzle, glad to see Bioware didn't just recycle the stacking puzzle from kotor and ME.

Once you understand that a few of the pads turn two on it just a matter of combinations.....
Oh, and quick saves/loads:D
