im starting to belive my Mass effect game is glitched, i only have two of every weapon type in the game (besides heavy weapons i hav six) and it seems theres no choice in what weapon to pick for shep as it states "____ upgrades the ____" it actually tells you the weapon is better instead of the player having to choose between the parmeters of the weapon the first mass effect i liked having a huge inventory where id look into after a mission to check for any better guns or possibly make a hard switch. so am i just unlucky in whats inside the containers i find throughout the game? also are there any diffrent armor types to be found inside the game or is that just for dlc armors like terminus and inferno?

No, not a glitch. Bioware pretty much axed the looting in the game completely. I only had 2 of every weapon and 6 or 7 heavy weapons I can't remember. The game automatically equips you and your squad with the best weapons. They "streamlined" the upgrade process. Basically nerfed nearly all the RPG and upgrade elements to make it more "action packed" or should I say mainstream?
