I bought ME2 through the Bestbuy digital download and the activation code would not work in the activation page that appears after launching the game. I contacted EA tech support which deactivated my previous code and gave me a new one but that new code did not work either. The message I get when I type in the new product key is 'The product key entered cannot be used to activate this game.' I've tried re-downloading the game reinstalling it but that did not resolve the issue.

probably not the fix you are looking for. but i uninstalled the game (that i downloaded from bestbuy). then i downloaded ea download manager and reinstalled the game through this. and now it works.
