So, i hear it's been released and so I hurry to the Downloadable Content, ready to purchase the add on and.....it isn't there.

It's not showing up on mine either. Bioware really needs to get their **** together with this DLC.

Same here; and I've got something sitting in my download list that's about 52% done and taking forever: DAO_PRC_OCP_1; No description as to what it is; it was running when I started the game. While I was waiting for RtO to appear, I wondered what was going on on that tab. Anyone else seeing this?

Ok, after failing once that DAO_PRC download finished and RtO is now showing available. I've started the dl...

DAO_PRC_OCP_1 is the 'offer' part of Return to Ostagar. Its the part that should get downloaded automatically to make RtO available to you in game.
You could try downloading and installing it manually. Links and instructions are section 4 of the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ
Also for those having issues make sure your Dragon Age Origins Content Updater service is running.
1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER
2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.
3.) Right click it and select START
Some people have had success with just stopping and starting the service again.
