I haven't' played the game recently, but I did fire it up to test the patch out and found that the loading times were much improved. Not sure if they addressed this or not...
Potential FIX for long loading times!

I find the affinity setting much less annoying than the long load times

I didnt have to set affinity twice, now. I dont have much time or reason to play right now but will revisit it down the road if they release DLC

Wow, what a shame I'm on my fourth playthrough when I find this out. Im greatful though, I can't believe it, I can move about the Normandy freely now. I use to avoid talking to teamates until everyone on a deck needed me due to the load times.

Everything works fine for me, except that when I choose my weapon loadouts, it freezes, but it works fine with 2 cpu running though.

I found out that using MassAffinity 0.2 wouldn't cause crashing while choosing loadout
