Just wanted to kind of make a 'wishlist' thread on what you would like to see in upcoming patch(es).
The biggest one for me is those graphical hitches.
-Clipping
-Getting stuck on environments
-Enabling DX10
-High res textures
ME2 patch suggestions... You know they're working on it!

Good points. Although I am not sure how much you are going to get with the last two points. Seems like that would take some significant engine code rewrites. If you turn on Anisotropic filtering and set it high, the textures look good.
The only issues I have seen so far are:
- getting stuck in the mission where you are on the crashed ship that is tipping off of a cliff, I have gotten stuck in mid air
- some side missions "break" where the next step in a mission (i.e. do step A to open step
does not always trigger. A simple reload fixes it, but it is a bug
- Long load times which I have fixed via processor affinity settings in the task monitor. But, I shouldn't have to do this.

If you looks in the coalesced file there's a code line that says "Enable dx10= false" changing it to true crashes the game but one can hope

- loading crashes
- Mass Effect 2 not responding crashes

I do believe that people with crashes have some problems with their PC (not genuine software, os plagued by viruses, incorrectly installed drivers, not actual drivers or so).
Cuz cool people do not have any crashes.

yeah, did you use notepad or a hex editor to change that value? cuz if you used notepad, that would cause it to crash (the file has a checksum, if that gets changed the game refuses to work)

Optimise controls for PC.
Planet rotation through WASD. Same for controlling ship. To have it through mouse just makes it so obvious it is trying to mimic an analog controller.
I don't know if this is a bug or an oversight but: Tutorial pop ups that give hints do not match customised key-binds. They need to take into account the user customising controls. Most games auto adjust.

I used notepadd++ and an ini fixer that makes it so ME2 doesn't crash after making changes...... apparently it works well except for changing dx10

game never crashed for me
had stuck in air glitch on SuZe's loyalty mission once, also subtitle glitch
also i dont think they will supply hirez textures, that would make patch very large and they are also past beyond that stage of development. They also stated they would not add or remove anything that works, only bug fixes. So no dx10 adddition or no spacebar reassignation or turning of tips.

Oh God, I totally agree with you on this one. How can the play testers not have moaned about this? It makes scanning a planet a total chore and 'piloting' the Normandy a joke!
Either TRULY make it work with a mouse and keyboard OR give us Pad support, but they shouldn't leave us halfway between.
Sort it out Bioware.

it seems the most consistent issue is graphical hiccups however I do agree about getting rid of help tips and making planet scanning more easy

A patch that would actually enable the game to run without turning of cinematics and using various hacks would also be nice.

Fixing the SLI (or SLI/AA) issues on nVidia cards with dynamic shadows on would be nice.

Not sure if this thread will be treated seriously with some of the demands folks want in a patch, but I'll list some of the minor things I'd like to see changed:
Quick load should only load your quick save. I should not get into a battle, realize I'm doing poorly or wanted to change a conversation choice, only to hit F9 and load the autosave where I'm past the conversation and in the battle again. Yes, autosave can be disabled, but it's a bad idea as it's always nice to have additional save points to restore from.
Saving your game should save party members' weapon setups, ammo choice and screen position. It's downright odd to load and 100% of the time see your two squadmates switch positions at the bottom of the screen. Also, if I switched you to a pistol or shotgun or whatever and save, guess what weapon I'd like to see you using when I load?
I've seen other threads mention it, but I crash every time I move abilities in the hotbar during battle and rarely out of combat as well. In addition, it's my hotbar, please stop having the game put abilities back into the bar that I already removed. Also, if I minimize it and save, it should stay minimized until I choose to expand it, not as soon as I load game again.
I'm sure I've noticed a few others, but the text is mostly very well-polished. When dealing with the minor subquest involving the Quarian slave however, when you complete it, the popup says you just finshed dealing with the 'Slake'.
It'd be nice if weapons you were not currently wielding would restore ammo to their loaded clip when picking up thermal sinks. Having to switch to each one and reload it if you expended it in a previous heated battle is mostly a waste of time.
Holstering your own weapon should have squadmates holster theirs, especially considering they have audio messages about the area being clear when you do so. Why stay on high alert if they think things are safe?
Those are the ones off the top of my head, hope Bioware reads them at least.

Redo the lock bypass systen to allow more time for us disabled gamers w/ slow reaction times. I am one of those. I'm not liking the fact that I can't do it. I have tried over and over, but can't get into any locked doors or locked safes. I want to get my Krogan, but can't get through the locked doors. Please, change this... Or add omni-gel back into the mix, so I can finish this part of the game, plus any other locked items.

The low res texture issue that everyone seems to be having. It's disastrous and completely ruins immersion =/

PURPLE EYES! When I import my character, and select her original appearance, her eye color is retained. When I try to customise her appearance (in my case I merely wanted to give her a different hairstyle), that specific iris color is unavailable! A minor complaint, sure, but I feel like I'm not looking at my Shepard otherwise.

Having the game not crash on startup would be nice.
Crashes and bugs are prioties. Then the other stuff.
