I love both games, its hard to say which one I like more because ME2 can't replicate the "wow" factor I felt when I first got into ME1. However, I would say that ME2 is a drastic improvement in many ways. There is still a lot of room for improvement in Mass Effect 3,

The game is extremely fun to play, as was the first one. The story, the world and especially the dialogue are amazing. The combat would have to be pretty damn frustrating to ruin the whole game for me.

Lol @ the people insisting ME2 is this drastically different "shooter" where ME1 was this "deep" RPG. Both games are light on the traditional RPG elements, which is fine because they aren't meant to be Baldur's Gate in space. ME1 has a "meh" shooter aspect that was overly easy and mindless. ME2 has tried to make the shooting aspects more in line with the big name shooters out today. What is the problem with that?

People, look at this.
This thing here, right above this text.
Go on, it doesn't hurt, just read it because this is pretty much everything you need to read in this whole topic.

Visually, ME2 is superior, but some things I liked about ME1 was dumbed down or deleted from ME2. I enjoyed the Mako and planet exploration. My "ADD" is not that bad where I can't deal with some travelling/exploring with my Mako.
It should have been improved on, not completely removed.
Missing armor for companions was also something that bothered me. Certain areas, Shepard would be in a full helmet and armor while other companions would just have a piece of plastic over their nose and mouth (ala Han and Leia), with exposed skin and eyes...

I literally beat it on insanity tanking missles with a pistol as an infiltrator. what the ****.
Also, people who think the RPG aspects in ME1 were anything other then a bad joke are stupid. I can factually prove this, it isn't an opinion, just compare the depth with other systems like NWN or the Special system. (not the one they used in fallout 3 lol)
