Description
I used the upgrade on the Normandy to remove facial scars near the beginning of the game.
At the beginning of the Garrus romance scene, Shepard is taking a shower and has facial scars. Upon leaving the shower in the casual outfit, her scars are gone.
This is the only time I experienced the scars "coming back".

I did not use the machine to heal scars, mine healed naturally.
However I also experianced the same thing during the shower cutscene before the Garrus romance.
Perhaps that is just how it is designed to look?
