Wait a minute, the human reaper was originally a robot fetus?

Nobody would have saw that coming, it would have been better than just some giant robot guy.

It IS a Reaper fetus...that was the whole point...
I think he's referring to the concept art in the collector's edition book, where it actually looks like a giant human fetus infused with Reaper tech.

Yeah I think it would have been less cliche if you fought a fetus, then again with so many cry babies playing this game, complaining about curse words and seeing the nude form, BioWare may have gotten something from Fox News as well all things considering.
It would have been worth it I think.
It would be disturbing as hell. Nightmare fuel.

I think it would have made a bigger impact in the game, the only other game I know that did something similar and to this day I still find disturbing is the final boss of Half-Life. They should have done a fetus instead of T-800.
While Im on the topic, the final boss fight felt similar to StarFox 64 boss battles and Metroid Prime boss battles <_< the only other thing it needed was to have glowing orbs in ether hand.

No, really, a giant human/reaper ? Plz stop, i will laugh again
So the reaper lost 1 of them, and they think the only way to destroy the galaxy is to make a human reaper ? Why ? To make us laugh to death ? Or maybe it's their so secret reason to wipe all galaxy each 50K years, to be able to make a new reaper apparence and have a good laugh for the next 50K years.
Oh, and he have 3 eyes, 1 on the left, and 2 in the right, on the same place. I laughed a second time, reaper with their powers, millenia and even millions years science were not able to do it good.
I though the final boss was the collector general, possessed by harbinger, some kind of super collector with waves of swarm/collectors.
Or maybe the idea of human foetus should have been more serious.

I thought it was a silly final boss as well, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt this time.

Maybe it was some old nostalgia thing... when I was little I was terrified of Terminator and skeletons... particully Hexxus from Ferngully. xD
But yeah, a fetus would have been even creepier...

Because FOX News would have **** themselves when they caught wind of a game featuring the player killing human fetuses?

I would have liked:
1)The fetus boss but
2)For it to somehow be FAR stronger than the current final boss. Lazors and waves of enemies and all sorts of crazyness.

I found it interesting that when EDI mentioned that it was a fetus, Shepard responded with, "So it's not alive?"

I can be pretty damn left wing (though overall moderate), but yeah.. I mean, if you regard 'alive' as containing a consciousness that can be communicated to others, then ok. But plants are also 'alive', and animals, and objects like stars can be considered as 'alive'.
About as bad as the "Not just a Reaper.... (dumdumdummmm) a Human-Reaper!"

Are you sure? I thought Shepard asked whether or not it was conscious and aware, to which EDI responded indeterminately.

Thing doesn't look all that much like an actual human fetus. Blowing away that concept art is not going to be a PR problem. Though FOX might do a story on it anways. Whatever.
EDIT: Occurs to me you might be sarcastic.

I could have misquoted. I beat it the other night at like 2am but I thought Shepard's initial response was that it was not alive as a fetus...just interesting to see, I have no qualms with Shepard's (Bioware's) take on the issue, mearly pointing it out.

Right, my point is that FOX News called the first game interactive porn, which was absurdly far from the truth. But that didn't stop them. Just like some massive human-reaper fetus isn't really a human fetus, but FOX would freak out anyway and start fear-mongering to parents.aimlessgun wrote...
