Greetings,

I am looking for the dialog where you talk to Arl Eamon about Jowan.  Anyone know where that is located, specifically which dialog is it?

Now having asked that question, I see one area I think really needs to be improved on in the toolset.  In the dialogs, there is no mechanism for doing a search for a specific node without traversing the tree till you find a link or reference to the node.

If you do Ctrl-F or Edit -> Find, you can search for a specific string of text in an open dialogue file. I'm not sure how else you'd reference a dialogue node to search for it, since coming from in-game, all you really have to reference is the string. If the issue you're referring to is in finding the correct dialogue file at all, the best way to do that is to note what NPC initiated the dialogue - regardless of who speaks in a dialogue scene, the first NPC who speaks or the NPC you clicked on to initiate the dialogue is generally the "owner" of the file.

The dialogue with Eamon regarding Jowan is in Eamon's main dialogue file, arl230cr_eamon (you can find it quickly by entering 'Eamon' in the Palette Window search field). Open the file and then search for Jowan; the first reference you'll find in that file is the beginning of the conversation involving Jowan.

Excellent.  Well, I guess there is a search feature...  And it is in the logical place for it.

Thank you Avaraen for the help and doubly so for Dialogue Tweaks, has been a "must have" addin for me since I found it.
