I see. Well, if it makes you feel better those two scenes -- him killing something and then him saying the line -- are not connected in the game. However there are many sorts of humor (I can't believe I'm telling YOU this), and the "*kill* - oops, wasn't me" type of humor that appeals to pre-schoolers just doesn't fit here, at least in my opinion.
