IGN has a short preview and nice little video clip on one of the new party members - an apostate mage called Anders:

Nice!  I think he will make a perfect Grey Warden.  I do hope a big part of the expansion is going around filling the ranks of the Wardens and filling out your team.  I think once a mage becomes a Warden he is no longer an Apostate.

Some iffy voice work from that templar woman. Other than that, I liked what I saw. I can see a mischievous streak in him, and mischief appeals to me. :)

Snarkiness is a common trait in Ferelden it seems Image IPB

I too enjoy his unruly personality! He seems to be a very distinctly new kind of character compared to the ones we met in Origins. Also - it's nice to get a male mage as a party member! :)

Looks great! Can't wait to head back to Ferelden. Space is cold and friendless...

Nice touch would have really really liked to see him and morrigan in the same group would have been rich.

Very promising. He looks a lot like Alistair.

Wait... something just occurred to me. That was a *female* templar! That has to be first one I've seen. >.< I've been wondering for the longest time if the templars only recruited men in their ranks since they are all males in Origins.

I already like him, he feels exactly the same about the circle as my mage did!

It seems we'll probably use the right of conscription to take him from the templars.

Hell Yeah!

Like him! He'll surely get along well with my (decidedly Libertarian) Mage :D

You Libertarians are dangerous extremists.  The Aequitarians deal with reality and are the only ones with the best interests of the mages at heart.  We will free the mages from the Chantry by showing we can police ourselves not engaging in some counter-productive revolt.

During the three or four centuries it will take for you to achieve this goal, do you mind if we Libertarians actually try to put some solid improvement into concrete form? We're not all like Uldred, and - unlike the Aequitarians - we really care about our civil rights! And we will fight for them!

Forget the female wardens. I want my male wardens to have a go at taming that mage ;)

Nifty character, only downside to the video was no signs of improvement on the lackluster mage helms and armor visuals.

Looks like there are a few new spells -- he did some things I did not recognize. +++
