So as long as they reveal new companions we can try to begin to identify who is the old retourning companion.... We have 1 mage...this means that at least 1 beetween Wynnie and Morrigan is over...

Also, there are a few mentions of female templars in the game (I think Alistair was even bested by one in the tourney when Duncan recruited him). Unfortunately, the templar armor doesn't look quite as awesome on females.

I have a one mage per party policy.   Otherwise the rogues and warriors will have nothing left to do.  Plus you know how those mages are: a bunch of prima donnas.

yeah, I had already spotted him doing the Joining in the very first trailer as well.

I was hoping he would be one of the blood mages from Tevinter, but an apostate is fine too. I guess it makes more sense plot-wise speaking...

I like the look of this Anders, seems quite different from the Origins companions, which I like. Also, FEMALE TEMPLAR!! - and is she Scottish? I wasn't sure with her accent, but it sounded scottish to me.



Additionally, the trailer Warden has another person behind him when meeting Anders. From the armour/model it looks like it might be a female warrior, possibly elven. I'm fairly used to that model outline by now. I sure hope it is, would be nice.

Very nice -- Anders seems like fun! There is definitely a new staff(you can see it at :18-19ish). I really hope there are new armor/robe models... not just re-colors.

I'm actually much more interested in the lady on the side of the Warden when Anders introduces himself with the line "I'm Anders, mage and wanted apostate". Heavy armored female companion in Awakening? Yes Bioware, thank you
