And he seems like an interesting addition to my party. To be honest, I never cared for Morrigan, and Wynne was a useless old lady IMO, so it's good to see I might have myself a useful ranged attacker, other than myself (being that I play an Arcane Warrior). Plus, this means I can vary my magic repertoire a bit, which is always nice.



But... "apostate"? And here I thought the Templars and the Circle were finally starting to play nice.

as for snarkiness, everyone in ferelden has that skill at 4, which is why its not even included when you level up



on a sidenote, i think this char is going to rock... after all he is using Duncan's hair... complete with earring

Sounded like Alistair (yay!) and looked like an ectomorphed Alistair/Cailan morph Personality wise, I *like* a lot from what i see. We needs us a bit more saucy, I say. "Well, good luck with that!" Now if he also says " So, how's that workin' for ya?" sarcastically ,...well..... *eyelashes start batting pre-emptively*

That would be an awesome twist. How ironic... one brothers a templer and the other a mage. One a repressed prisoner one a king.

One of the books mentioned Maric having a kid with a Grey Warden mage...so maybe. Anders is definitely getting a permanent spot in my party. The only thing I don't get is that the templar/apostate bit doesn't really make sense if your mage Warden asks for Circle independence at the end of DA:O. Maybe it didn't happen overnight?

Or it may only have gone so far. Even an independant Circle would be expected to control its mages, and even an independant Circle might work with the templars to do so (it just wouldn't be controlled by them).

Possibly more significantly, Anders' last escape may well have occured before Broken Circle and its aftermath, and he's just been brought to ground - or he and his Templar pursuers may actually originate from outside Ferelden.

Definitely a different kind of character, looking forward to it. I think he might even be harder to "tame" than Morrigan lol.

Also...was that Alistair's voice?    Particularly on the "Well good luck with that ..." remark from Anders.

Maybe it's just me, but the scene around 18 seconds when it shows a female knight behind the Grey Warden PC, if you look closely at the face...doesn't it look like Leliana? Seriously.

Mage was my first playthrough in DOA so those guys will allways hold a special place in my heart. And this seemed different from any of the mage NPC in origins. I like his sense of humour quite a bit. Good Job Bioware!

I hope other 4 character would be as good as this guy. I personally dont like mages much but maybe I can like this guy. ( he fits as an Arcane Warrior )
