He looks horrible. Terrible character design. Seems like they pushed the random button in the toolset. He might have an interesting background & personality but seriously, change the looks. Give him a different (preferably new) haircut and face.

Anders?! That's the lamest (Swedish) name I have ever heard. There's tons of cool names at 20000-names.com and Anders is picked?!

You cannot expect them to take into account each and every language....."anders" means "different" in my language (Dutch) and it isn't a name at all, just a word....but I can live with that

I like what I see. Since he is a criminal I guess we will recruit him by invoking the Right of Conscription, unlike in Origins where you get some buddies to help you out, I believe we will be making people into Grey Wardens in Awakening. Wonder if it will be possible for some of these characters to die in the Joining.

Wow, looks like some generic dude that a casual player whips up in 4 minutes. Mostly that's due to his utterly generic robes.

Bioware, please give the expansion more clothing choices for rogues and mages. Don't just concentrate on new heavy armor and swords.

Wha--what is wrong with him? If your refering to the fact he looks plain, well good! I hate it when characters look OTT lookwise. I'd rather them have the awesome personlity thanks. Characters who have been designed to death look like they don't fit in at all in the world. The main MPCs and comrades actullay look like they belong in the universe they are set. Lydianna for example, looks perfectly at home in the background. But her voice and personlity make her stand out. Sten obviously doesn't fit in, but he looks like the other qunari.

I like his background design etc but I'm not too sure about the voice over Not that it's bad, just that I don't find it attractive I have the same problem with Alistair and Zev
