I agree, he has to be romanceable and only for females, reading his info I'm almost sure that he will be romanceable.Ex-Paladin wrote...
Oh, please let Anders be romanceable for us females!!!I already love him
and anyone else notice that his hair style (with the earring) is the same as Duncan's?
I have a feeling he is a character that girls love and boys hate.
Something else about the trailer... that armor Alistair is wearing, I want it. o.o

Riiight. Because it's impossible to have a very dark and serious story while also having some lighter moments or some humor.Infiltrator wrote...
Kill someone and says "wasn't me", and put that in the trailer? Wow. That's some hilarious stuff bioware, I bet your 5 year old fans are laughing their asses off on that one!
And to think how many times devs said "dark fantasy" in the interviews..
Someone needs to ring up Shakespeare and tell him someone on the internet thinks he completely had the wrong idea.
"Two Men from Verona", ... cough, cough.
Yeah...I was an english lit major at one point.

I see. Well, if it makes you feel better those two scenes -- him killing something and then him saying the line -- are not connected in the game. As usual, the cutscene folks are working some of their magic (probably because showing the actual context for the line would be a spoiler).Infiltrator wrote...
However there are many sorts of humor (I can't believe I'm telling YOU this), and the "*kill* - oops, wasn't me" type of humor that appeals to pre-schoolers just doesn't fit here, at least in my opinion.
david you are an awsome writer, i don't know why you even bother...i think some complain tooooo much out of boredom.

I'm sure that one day he'll give you one fine pat in the back for defending him against the guy who was making a simple argument (on the FORUM no less).

So, I love the Anders character. I will definitely have my Orlesian Warden romance him just to see where it goes. However, I am still VERY attached to young Alistair. I have only made him king in 1 play through and went off to rebuild the wardens in all others. Please tell me he does not have to be king in the expansion. I am also hoping for a more stable romancible (sp?) female for the guys out there. I kind of felt they had to choose between crazy-jealous and self-serving-homicidal in the Origins story arc. Neither of these choices seem very healthy or satisfying to me.
Thanks and I have to agree. Morrigan and Leliana are both quite... unstable. For it may fit with some characters, it is often unsatisfying, as you said. While I do like their characters I personally wouldn't want to flirt with any of them. It's not a big issue and I'm sure we'll meet more lovely women out there, but I just could live with a bit "less crazy".

The old guy sitting in the row behind mine on the train, says that there is no good literature written in english language, just as there has been no important theatrical work written in the english language. He says, that people will of course go and talk about Shakespear, but that if you seriously looked at Shakespear's work, you'd see that he really is overrated.
That's what I heard on the train anyway. Take it for what it is
Wow... well, if you ever run into him again, let him know that a lot of people have "seriously looked at Shakespear's work" over the past 380 years or so, and most of 'em disagree with his assessment.
There are people with real issues with English, and I can only chalk it up to the need to tear something down that's simply too good. It's like people who want to believe the Patriots only won 3 Superbowls because they cheated. It's the third most spoken language in the world, and the most understood by a long, long way... for a reason.
It's been the backbone of two of the greatest civilizations in the history of mankind (the British Empire and the United States of America). It is the universal trade language in the world-wide economy. And most importantly, there are more important scientific and philosophical breakthroughs from English speaking scientists and philosophers than any other in the history of mankind... and it's not even close.
That's not coincidence. The fact that English is rooted in old Saxon, borrows liberally from Latin, French, Irish, Welsh, Spanish, and Greek, gives it a diversity that no other language has. It is the most precise language in the world. No other language has such subtle differences in meaning between so many words (Liberty and Freedom, for example).
Anyways, sorry, I get passionate about that subject. Drives me nuts when people say stuff like that.
